This is an easy in/easy out park which is great for an overnight stay. The sites are all gravel and they are fairly level but not totally level. We had to use several blocks under our landing gear. The owners are super friendly and helpful. There was very spotty wi-fi. The owners are trying to get it worked out but they have a ways to go. There was no cell service. (Verizon or AT&T). There were 3 over the air channels on TV. The town consists of 60 people but it is on the Continental Divide, so they have a lot of hikers in the area. Husband said the showers were clean. We would stay again for an overnight stay. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Great little campground owned and operated by the family who lives on site. Showers were clean and in good shape. Sites are a little uneven. Wood blocks were provided if needed. Very quiet at night even though you are about 100 yds from the road. Beautiful night sky due to no light pollution. We would stay here again on our way through this part of New Mexico. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This campground is at 7,700 feet elevation in a very pretty and remote part of New Mexico. There are 5 pull-thrus, 3 of which are long enough for big rigs. Wife was excellent; Verizon is 3G. The communal grill, fire pit, and tables were nice (see photos). The sites lacked patios and tables. Sites were all gravel and a little unlevel. No cable TV but no trees to block satellite. The vegetation is pinyon, juniper, and Ponderosa pine. The whole area is mountainous and beautiful. All in all, this is a very nice place to stay. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit nearby Sawtooth Mountains for some beautiful scenery. Take Forest Road 6a, about 12 miles east of town. The road is gravel and well maintained.

We stayed here for one night passing through - and also for the pie! The RV park is an easy walk to any of the pie shops in town. The park is small, but the sites are roomy with quite a few trees (but easy to navigate with a bigger RV). The sites are far from level - we had to unhook our tow vehicle - but manageable. We didn't hear much road noise. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very small campground about a block off the highway. Very quiet. Full hookups available. Wifi included, not fast but stayed connected. Cell service only works if you have Verizon. Satellite works fine, nothing to block it. Sites slightly out of level but not bad. Make a reservation; sold out the night we were there and no other campgrounds with hookups near. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good place to stop in Pie Town on your way to someplace. The campsites and road are gravel. Sites are fairly level. The road running parallel to the campground is a gravel road and if you have a west wind your alright but an east wind can make it a little dusty when vehicles drive by, you might want to take a site closest to the bathroom/showers. AT&T cell service and data do not work here. Verizon MiFi does not work here but the campground has excellent wifi. The utilities worked good. The owner was very friendly. I would stay here again if in the area. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Dark gravel parking, spots slope down hill, front of 31' trailer is higher than I like. Front stabilizers needed blocking as did front jack. Electricity is good, water is good, campground furnishes hose and pigtail for electricity. Water pressure is good. Nice place, left side of trailer faces west so hot afternoon sun shines right on refrigerator. Nice place, would stay here again. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Were initially going to visit one of the pie shops just for a lunch break but were intrigued by the RV park website. No frills and no lies about it either. Owner has about 5 or 6 sites but can adjust things to add a few more if necessary. We were initially concerned about the power hookup but noticed on pulling in that the mast already had a dog bone off the 50 amp plug in which met our needs (30 amp) sufficiently. Water initially came out of their hose a bit dirty but quickly cleaned up (we use a filter all the time as well). Owner has a nice gig going and caters to the Continental Divide Trail hiking and cycling crowd by providing free shower, rest room and Wi-Fi service for them; we met and chatted with a few of these intrepid souls as they were staying with a "trail angel" just up the road. Nothing fancy here but a safe place to spend the night. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very basic, but it's the only place around. AT&T cell phone didn't work. Bathrooms are a 2 room log cabin with a concrete floor and a laundry wash tub for a sink. It's fine for an overnight stay. The Pie Town Café (very close by) had excellent pie. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is the only RV park in the area. It is gravel, unlevel and has no amenities. But, it has the essentials and the owner will try his best to accommodate you. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.

We've camped here before and we really like this park. It seems like a cute place, but unfortunately, it seems to be getting more and more run down everytime we stop. The animals were gone this time. The utilities worked great and the sites are level. We have a 45 foot motorhome and things were a little tight, but not bad. We will stay here again when we're in the area. Great value for the money. Site was level and utilities were top-notch. Friendly staff. Humorous twist on campground rules was entertaining, but still clearly conveyed the message. We camped at Pie Town RV Park in a Motorhome.
