Small (about 12 sites), clean RV park just east of Roswell. Should call ahead to ensure there is room as they tend to have all sites filled each night. Although small, our 40ft (and others) fit comfortably. The owner is updating bathrooms and office area. WI-FI was great! Sites are gravel and level. Water quality was good. There was a big field out back where we could run our hunting dog. We would definitely recommend and come again! We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Cowboy Cafe just west of the park is a great little restaurant for breakfast or lunch.

I am sure that this is the smallest RV Park we have stayed at; it is almost cute. There are 15 spaces, two are pull-through, but are very short. All sites are full hookup, level gravel. The park is a real jewel, flowers and grass between each site. It is very clean and neat, almost prim. The owners live on site, it is rather like camping in their backyard. The wife will check you in then help you into your site and wait till you are all settled. Friendly seems trite when referring to this park.
The park is surrounded by big, mature trees and a white board fence.
The sites are close but not unreasonable with a picnic table and a grass lawn between each unit. The roads are gravel; it is easy off, easy on the highway, which is just outside the park but a high solid fence buffers the sound. We never heard any traffic.
The cable tv is great! Many clear channels, 80+. Wi-Fi is excellent, very consistent.
This is definitely a call first, get a reservation stop. About half the sites are long term or permanent.
The office and store as well as the bathrooms and laundry are all in a diminutive sort of hobby barn. It is really attractive inside, very interesting, with comfy furniture for visiting or tv watching. All the treats in the store are honor system...of course.
There is a single bathroom/shower each for men and women. They are simple and rather dated, but meticulously clean and quite comfortable. We used the bathroom and shower, lots of hot water.
The park is backed by farm fields and well lit at night; seems quite secure.
Roswell is kind of phony with its green aliens, this is a genuine good park. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Had some trouble with motorhome... electrical, of course.
"Red Barn" owner recommended "MAIN Trailer Sales". This is strictly a trailer and 5th wheel dealer but they have a great staff of mechanics and service men that were very knowledgeable in all things RV.
The problem was solved in a couple of hours, and I got a schooling in RV maintenance.
Don't let the facility fool you, a neat shop doesn't make a good mechanic.

We only stayed here one night and had picked it out from this website and we were not disappointed. The owner is on site and was extremely helpful, even walking us out to choose a spot and helping us back in the travel trailer to the spot we chose! Each spot was well kept with gravel under the foot of the trailer and grass along side between each spot. Pets are welcome and there are amenities available in the office. We would definitely stay there again. We got a senior discount because at least one of us was over 50. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We just stayed overnight but it was a great spot. Close to town for all the sightseeing we wanted to do. It's a VERY small park...13 sites, per the owner. So make a reservation. She knew we had a big rig and parked us in one of the pull throughs. You pull up to a gate and when it's time to leave, you open the gate and pull out onto the road. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful and even came out as we were leaving to tend the gate for us. However, you can pull across the street, if necessary. Pretty quiet location although it is on a main road. The dog walking trail is outside the park. You exit through the back and walk along the dirt road next to the farm field. My dog loved it. Couldn't get satellite here due to the trees, but no big deal for 1 nite. And they do have cable. We'd definitely stay here again. Very comfortable. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The UFO Museum is really fascinating. Lots of details and local information on the 1947 Roswell incident. It's a must see when you are here.

Friendly, super-helpful staff. A very, very small facility with good shade trees and dog friendly, a bit worn but great for a stopover. Not suitable for kids. If you are staying overnight, ask for Site 12 which is a no-hassle pull-thru that puts you right on back on the highway. Large "standing-room-only" corral directly across the street is a nuisance when the wind blows the wrong direction. Great internet with 18 Mps makes Netflix streaming possible, a rarity at most RV parks. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a small RV Park that is full of charm. All sites are back-in with sufficient space to maneuver. We have a 40’ 5th wheel and there were only 2 vacant sites. We had no problem backing in to our site. This park has everything – great wifi, great cable TV, full hookups, a charming red barn that contains the front office, a common area with sofa, dining sets, a book swap, snacks and beverages for sale, toys, restrooms, showers, and laundry room. Everything operates on the honor system. Laundry is $1 for washer, $1 for dryer. The owner is very nice and helpful. The property is right off the main highway, only 2 miles outside of Roswell, but it feels like the country. Surrounding the RV Park are farmland and pecan orchards. It’s really beautiful. The only nuisances were all the flies and the smell of ‘fertilizer’ from the surrounding fields. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Last minute reservation for a pull-thru site. Very charming small park and the owner was extremely accommodating. It looked to have two pull-thru sites only. Don't let the size of this park scare you....very friendly people and felt like home. There was some road noise but didn't really bother us. I would recommend this park for a comfortable stay. Loved the vibe of this small friendly park. The owner shows pride in what she has done and really wants her guest to enjoy the park. I would stay there again! We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

We spent several nights here while visiting Roswell. There are pros and cons to this park. PROS: The staff is very friendly. Greeted us when we arrived and made sure we knew where everything was. There were also some "locals" living there that welcomed us. The spaces are pretty tight and from what we could tell there are over 1/2 of the spaces occupied by permanent individuals. The bathrooms are clean and everything inside the store is on an honor system including the washer and dryer. There are full hookups with cable TV. CONS: Very tight spaces. If you open your blinds, your neighbors can see what you are doing in your camper and vice versa. The road noise at night is horrible. Traffic all hours of the night and you will hear every vehicle that goes by. Very dusty and prepare to constantly track loose gravel into your camper. Several residents have dogs tied up to trees and they bark at about anyone or anything they see. This is a decent place in town to stay considering we checked out the other locations and they were horrible. 10 miles down the road is the Bottomless Lakes State Park which might be a better choice if you want quiet. What makes this park score a 7 is the staff and the bathrooms. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a small campground, but very nice and very convenient for visiting Roswell. The owner was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. You will enjoy meeting her. Campground is clean and well maintained. It is level and has trees that provide good shade. There are two pull-through sites. There is some road noise, but not significant. Would highly recommend staying here. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very friendly. Laundry and snacks: pay on honor system. Free current movies to borrow. Mostly long term residents. Pet friendly: but only walk in field or along busy hwy. Showers are old, but ok. Gravel w/some grass. We'd return. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We really enjoyed our 1 night stay at this park (just passing through Roswell). The park is small but everything fits. We had no issues parking a 40' coach. The owners are very friendly and helpful, and everything is spotless. We would stay here again. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a small RV park located just outside the city of Roswell. It is as clean as a whistle and the owner is friendly and helpful. Pride of ownership definitely shows. We have a 39' 5th wheel and stayed in a pull through with room enough to park our dually. Although it is located next to a highway, we did not notice traffic as being an issue. We would be pleased to stay in this park again. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

What a gem. After a long day of traveling, we stopped here and found a small, neatly maintained and very clean park. The owner was very friendly and made us feel at home. She personally directed us into our pull through and again thanked us for stopping by. We could easily spend more than one day here and be very comfortable. This park is definitely on our "return to" list. We camped at Red Barn RV Park in a Motorhome.
