Good location, outside of town but easy to find. Adequate space. Unlevel site. Dumpster close to sites was overflowing, stinky, and attracting bugs. Appeared to not be emptied for a very long time. No grass, just dirt. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

One night stay. Some pull-through sites have spaces to park tow vehicle; mine did not. Wi-Fi worked well. Cable TV was excellent. Shower was dated but extremely clean - water was hot and flow was strong. Some grass at back-in sites and some shade at selected sites. Everyone is escorted to their sites. Pull-through sites have concrete enclosed patios with picnic table. Park is clean with heavily graveled roads, laid out well; easy in, easy out. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is very clean, quiet, pretty. Owner?/manager escorted us to our spot. He was very helpful. There is a cement spot for patio table, sites had enough room for slides and awnings out, wifi was good, Verizon signal was good. Easy to pull in and out, sold propane, close to town. Stayed here for one night enroute back to home. On the outskirts of town. GPS suggested taking the loop around town to get to park (tried going through town as suggested by clerk answering campground phone - ended up having traffic detour anyway). The park will work for one night. Quiet. Lots of flies. Did get a $3.00 discount by paying with cash. Contacted the park by phone that afternoon and was able to reserve a spot without giving a credit card #. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

One night stay. It was OK for that. Did the UFO museum. Got checked in by a nice young man who was substituting for the owners and did a real fine job. I needed propane but the owners would never show up. Sign on door will be there, they weren't. Then sign says 'Open, come in' except door was locked and again no one to help. Went down the street to a huge propane dealer and filled up there. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

5 blocks from downtown. All gravel Rv park, wide sites, minimal trees, desert landscape, strong wifi, cable, very neat and clean. Very nice owner at check in, escorted us to our site.. ..... But Texas HWY 285 north thru the oil fields of west Texas was worn out by all the heavy oilfield trucks, lots of truck traffic but once in NM the road improved greatly...we have been to Roswell before so we stayed in motorhome for 1 night then on to Santa Fe tomorrow...super nice town with lots of restaurants, shopping, etc.... Overall Rating:

Rate reflect Good Sam discount. This is an older park that is well-maintained, and owners are on-site. We were in Site 48, and the tow car had to be unhooked and parked beside the motorhome. Interior roads and sites are gravel and in good condition when we were there. Site was level, and all utilities worked well. Wifi service is spotty. We did not use showers/restrooms. Parking to register is fine if you are the only unit; if several arrive at the same time, it gets really close. No cable TV unless you give a $100 deposit for a cable box; new cable company policy seems to be the issue. This park is next to a huge lot filled with what appears to be abandoned machinery, so the views are not great - not the fault of the owner. Road noise is minimal. We will use this park again. Overall Rating:

My husband and I, along with our two dogs have been staying in this park since August of 2016. We will remain here until January 2017 for a work contract. The park is large and clean and is located in the county, but very close to the city of Roswell (maybe 2 miles, if that). I would like to address the negative reviews others have left in effort to clarify that some people are just impossible to please and have unrealistic expectations.

For example, spraying for weeds. The owners take excellent care of the park and part of that is weed control. As I stated earlier, I have two dogs, to keep them away from possible poison I walk them on a leash and pay attention to what they are sniffing, licking, or eating. In addition, I use common sense and don't walk my dogs along the edge of curbs where the weeds grow.

Second thing I would like to address is the complaint of cow manure. It is obvious those individuals who complain about the smell are from the city (and there is nothing wrong with that) they are just not familiar with country living. Like I stated previously, the park is located in the county. Thus, there are farms around, but I assure you there are no cows bordering the park.

In regards to the complaint about flies... This has nothing to do with the park. Therefore, flies should not even be mentioned in people's posts.

Lastly, there are long term RVers that live along the back and sides of the park. Many of the long term RVers are in Roswell for work contracts, travel nurses, pipeliners, solar power, etc.

What I am refrencing is that these contract workers leave early for work, many of which drive diesel trucks my husband being one of them who leaves at 5:30am (for his job). The specific complaint regarding the "loud trucks" cracks me up. For a few reasons.

#1 they all leave at roughly the same time

#2 they pass your RV in 2 seconds (advice: get a noise machine)

The owners are awesome and if the park isn't packed they will walk you around and let you pick a place. There are a ton of spots that offer shade at different times of the day.

There's more but it only allows 2000 characters We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was at about 50% capacity when we visited. The owner was very friendly. I was allowed to pick my own site. There was some shade, but mostly at the perimeter, back-in sites that appeared to be permanent guests. Poor wifi. Slow internet and frequently drops the connection even though the signal is strong. All sites level. Sites and roads are gravel. About average distance between sites. Your neighbors are close by. My pull-through site was barely long enough for my motorhome and toad. As others have mentioned, we would sometimes get a cow/manure smell from the area. Not overpowering, but unpleasant. There are nice grassy areas for walking the dog. Concrete slab with a plastic picnic table that was in pretty bad shape. It's an okay park. Nothing special. I thought it was expensive for what you get. Site was level, hookups were OK, wifi was bad; often cutting out. Satellite TV required a $100 deposit to borrow a satellite box plus programming. After our first night, we witnessed weed chemicals being sprayed around our site so we could not walk our cat outside (the chemical used is described as causing diarrhea and vomiting in pets). Each morning, we were awakened at 5 am when the permanent residents would pull out in their big, noisy trucks. The train whistled for 30 minutes continuously at 10 pm and midnight. We had to keep our windows closed as per the smell from the cows next door. Many flies around some of which moved into our coach. The property adjoining the park is a field of loud, heavy equipment being operated 40 feet from our site at 7 am. The ground was stone and white dirt that tracked easily in our RV. Our plastic picnic table was cracked with pieces of the table on the ground. Our picnic table had a few large holes in it and could cut skin if sat on. After the weed kill spraying, we asked if we could leave one day early and get a refund for our 3rd night. We were told that their accountant prohibits refunds even though we had paid cash. We ended up staying 2 nights but paid for 3. When making the reservation and when checking in, we asked if we could pay for 2 nights with a possibility of extension for 3 nights and were that they expected to fill up so if we wanted a third night, we had to lock in and checkin. The park was all but empty, not crowded at all. Looked like all left in the park were permanent or long term; not tourists. We camped at Trailer Village RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Cattle Baron's steakhouse provided bad service and a tasteless, rubbery prime rib, 5 minutes after we ordered, served before the waiter brought a salad bar plate or wine. We think the prime rib was pre-cooked then microwaved. This is one of those restaurants where a waiter takes your order then someone drops off the food at your table. The restaurant felt like the chain that it is; kids for servers, cheap decor and fast food steak.
