1 RV Park near San Antonio, New Mexico
Jan 2018 - $30.00
Location, location, location. If this park were anywhere else I'd give it a 4 or 5 and call it adequate for an overnight stop, nothing more. But, given that it is right on the edge of Bosque de Apache Wildlife Refuge, we are very happy it is there and has good working utilities and tons of space. You could easily park your 80 foot mega-rig in the wide open gravel lot. The owner is uber-friendly and will show up eventually; pay him when you see him or catch him at his house. He lets local field workers clean up in the showers in off hours; good for him. No wifi, no cable. I was desperate to watch NFL playoffs, so I drove to the Capitol Bar in nearby Socorro to get my fix. If you stay here, it should be for the outstanding birding. Enjoy. - darwinmoore

September 26- Adequate camp for what we needed for the night. Check in is whenever the owner shows up to meet you at the site you've chosen. Single stall men and women restroom. One of the spools laying around worked good as a platform to do some work on the side of my RV. - ForestWalker

Besides being a mostly open dirt/gravel parking lot, we got a warm welcome from the other campers, a very friendly chatty group. I think the owner fosters this environment, he was a card. It was quiet. Hook ups worked as expected. No picnic tables, but a few cable spools that you could roll over to your site. - MichelleKry
