1 Park near San Antonio, New Mexico
Feb 2016 - $25.00
Park is straight gravel, no trees, no picnic tables, no fire pits, no amenities other than a bath house. Owner is friendly, but other than at check in out of sight.
Try to park facing north, then the afternoon shade is on your door side. - SeeinUSA

This bare-bones park's claims to fame are the nearby Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge and in-town restaurants featuring green chile cheeseburgers. Its also a couple hours' drive to the Very Large Array of radio telescopes in the New Mexico desert. The Refuge is a birdwatcher's winter paradise with a Festival of the Cranes annually the week before Thanksgiving. The RV Park has full hookups and little else; the sites aren't even numbered. The picnic tables are old cable spools. - Mtmoi

This is a great little park to stay while you visit the Basque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. It's basically a gravel lot with big spaces and 30 amp service. We had two 30 amp plugs on our pedestal and one kept dying on us so we switched to other and everything was fine. Bathrooms adequate. Shower's $2.00. Owner very friendly and aims to please. Located on the edge of the refuge. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the refuge. The picnic table was a cable spool. - smitty12
