This is our go to place when visiting Santa Fe as we left Carlsbad and within four or five hours can make it up to the outskirts of Santa Fe. This RV park is on a main road leading into down town. It is growing more and more each time we visit but the area has everything you need and easy access to the town. This is a smallish park with different types of spots, 30, 50, pull thru and back in are all different prices. We always opt for the cheapest. The fall is not busy but balloon festival is a mad house. The office staff is friendly and easy going but we have only ever been when the park was mostly empty so no idea how crowded it gets in busy times. Verizon cell, over the air TV and sat signal are all great. I even used the wifi for a large amount of my data needs this time. There is another park near by but others are further out so this location is best for us. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The Tuesday and Saturday market down town at the rail yard is a must. Horseman's haven just between I-25 and the park is a must. next to Ashley's Home Furnishing. There is a good local Mexican restaurant across the street which is excellent. Horseman's green chili is hot - their hamburger is big, grilled, toasted light bun (smothered in green chili) with the best hash brown type potatoes. An excellent value for the price too. It is full of locals and we always eat at the counter.

Okay, first off, we were there during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta so every park within 50 miles of Albuquerque was charging 'festival rates'. That being said, the normal rate would be more acceptable. The park is kind of hard to find (signage is not good on the main street), but look for the signs for The Lofts. It appears this park has seen better days but, again, there are not a lot to choose from in Santa Fe. The park is tricky to get into and getting back out is a right turn only onto the main drag. Not a big issue but something to be aware of. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

On a positive note, this park is only five minutes from Meow Wolf (one of the coolest art installation/experiences you will ever have!). Its also only a short drive to all the historic districts, museums, and art galleries. This town is quite interesting....take the trolley tour first and then decide what to see. If you love food trucks, this town will delight!

We stayed during Balloon Festival week. We had to camp on the parking lot with no amenities (thus the $38 charge) which was fine since we were told we could use the showers and restrooms. As it turned out, the restroom had not been cleaned in days and most probably weeks. There were balls of hair mixed with plain ole filth along the walls. Sinks were filthy. Hair balls in the showers for 3 days. And the really worst part....the "cleaning man" sat outside the bathrooms every day playing on his cell phone. When he had sat there long enough I guess, he drove off. He "put in his time" but never actually cleaned anything. Disgusting. The whole place was creepy and not well kept up. We will not stay here again. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects price increase during Balloon Fiesta. Follow the driving directions given on the website. Look closely for The Lofts sign, the yellow RV park sign is even smaller and difficult to see. Also, turning left out of the park requires crossing three lanes of traffic. It could be difficult. Be mindful of the power lines on your site. In the upright position, our TV antenna barely missed the lines. Some sites have huge potted trees you have to maneuver around when pulling out of the site. Sites are close to each other. You have to disconnect towed vehicle in the pull thru sites. 50 amp box is on the pole located midway on the site. Sewer connections located in rear of site and midway. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is pretty typical for a park in a city that allows full-time RVs. There is junk around, most everything needs to be fixed, and it's dirty. There is a lot of poop from little dogs all over the place. The picnic table had a lot of ants on it, and there was no fire ring. There is a pavilion that is pretty trashy, but it's nice to have. Other than this small area, there is nowhere to walk. It is on a pretty busy street, so don't plan on getting out for some exercise. I wouldn't stay here again, but thankfully I was there for an event so I received a discount for staying the whole week. Maybe I'm not an "RV park" person. If you have to stay in town and you don't plan on being here very much during the day, this will do. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

Must be an older park because sites are almost as tight as sardines in a can. The amenities were clean and satisfactory. I don't believe this park is too awfully safe, because my wife was stopped going to the showers by two 'intoxicated' men in a car driving through the park, who tried to stop her to ask her stupid questions. So she returned to our RV. I walked out and they left. Parks in areas like this need to have security or at least gates to keep 'rif-raf' out. We won't be back. We paid $10 Extra for a 'Pull Through', but it was so 'Tight' we had to take our 'tow car off to be able to make the corners getting in, and getting out of our narrow site. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

We will not be back to this park, but in this town I highly doubt that anything better can be found. Which is really pitiful! I will try to not ever need an RV site in this part of New Mexico, again. Sorry, but I truly believe that the only clean and safe town in all of New Mexico is Ruidoso, and that is because it has a large population of Texans and ex-Texans.

Older park, a little dilapidated, but in a great location for visiting Santa Fe. You can take a bus or bike on a trail system into downtown Santa Fe. Most of the sites are a little close (not uncomfortably tight), but there are a few at the back of the park that are roomier, as they are located around a curve. Those sites are also the nicest in that they have some shade, they back up to a big picnic area (which appears not to be used by anyone), and they are farthest from the road, giving some relief from the traffic noise. The wifi was very good, and there is lots of o/a tv. Verizon signal was ok. Earlier in the summer, I stayed at the place across the street. It was much nicer in the park itself, but the noise from traffic was horrendous. Also, curiously, the "nice" park across the street is in kind of a cheesy neighborhood, whereas this one is located next to a pretty fancy apartment complex. This park is also a little more convenient to the bike trail and the shopping mall. There is an exit out of the back of the park where you can access those areas without dealing with all the hubbub of Cerrillos Road. There appear to be many month to month residents in this park, but though the park is run down, it is not trashy in any sense. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

Feels like this park is become somewhat "forgotten" and owners are not investing in improvements. Is the same it's always been for years except name change. Location is excellent, right on Cerrillos Road, access to public transportation. There continues to be no good signage for RVers coming in off the road. Turn in where you see the "LOFTS" sign and look hard for where to enter - mostly straight in front of you, against one side of a small set of stores, LOFTS will be on your right. Only other campground "in town" is almost across the road but they have trees that obstruct our roof mounted satellite. Paved roads w/gravel sites that slope side-to-side. Los Suenos is mostly open for satellite reception, which is great for us. Electricity is old with hookups at rear, some hard to reach. No electric breakers at site, 50 amp sites look like they've been recently upgraded. Never have understood their laundry - 2 washers/dryers in Women's Restroom, 1 washer/dryer in Men's. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

The RV park is quiet, but the property is on a downward slope so most sites require some sort of leveling system. The long-term residents keep their sites clean except a couple of "Travelers" doing the annual asphalt "work". The washing machine, in the men's restroom, did not put enough water in the tub and when the wash was finished there were dry spots on the clothes...yuk. The dryers are clogged with lint so they did not dry well. Even though the park was kept clean, it's in need of a good maintenance plan and oversight because it seems rundown. The electrical connection did not have a circuit breaker...it was located on a mains box several sites away. For the money, next time I'll be staying across the street at the Trailer Ranch RV Resort which is beautiful and impeccably kept. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: April, 2018 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at Los Suenos de Santa Fe for 5 nights in April 2018. We very much enjoyed our stay, which we extended from an original planned 4 nights. The reception was warm, informative and professional. Our site was at the far end of the park, near a large dog-walking area with lots of trees. The curving access road at this point afforded lots of space between the sites. The sites up the straight sides were a bit closer, but did not appear to be uncomfortably close at all. Because we were at the end we were concerned we might be victims of that perennial RV park issue - bad internet - but were very please to find we never once had difficulty with internet. The bathroom facilities were centrally located and not far from the end where we were. There are also laundry facilities, although these are located in both the men's and women's restrooms, but not in any location accessible to both sexes, which is not at all conducive to doing the laundry together. It is really nice that one can catch a bus downtown right in front of the park. We hardly used our vehicle in the whole time we were there. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The easy bus connection downtown is a great feature of Los Suenos. And there is a nice little casual tex-mex restaurant just across the street (there is also a 'taqueria' place in the front end of the same strip mall, but we did not get a chance to try that.

We stayed here during the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. So we start with a warning: Even in Santa Fe, make your reservations well in advance at this time of year. This park is located in the city, albeit out in the suburban area. The sites were very tight. The roads were navigable. There was a small park/ play area at the back of the park with a short trail for walking the dog. Wifi was very good, which was great because cell phone signals were very weak. It's not a pretty campground, just functional. We would stay here again only if other options were not available. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park has been here quite a while and it shows. Run down neighborhood w/an upscale condo development next door. Five empty retail spaces out front. Poor signage; were told to look for the sign for the condo development. 50 amp power on some sites but ours at least, had no way to shut off power while plugging in/ unplugging.

Median in street requires a u-turn if coming from East and another if leaving going West. On plus side, mgmt was friendly and helpful; kept grounds clean although lots of dog poop not picked up in dog-walk area. Would probably stay here again. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

September 24 &25- Campground provided what we needed as a place to stay. But...to start it has no sign on the road to let you know where to turn. As others have mentioned you need to watch for a sign to the business next to it. Shower stalls are small. Very small. TP was of the narrow width variety. Washer and dryers were in the bathrooms. The power outlet at our site had no breaker and was within one foot of the ground and right next to the water hookup. The playground equipment is something out of the early 1960's and needs to be replaced. It was hard to tell where the tent camping ended and the so called dog walk began. Wifi worked for us but spoke with another RVer who walking around with her laptop looking for reception. Watch for tree overhang if you are using the pull through site with a bigger rig. On the plus side the bus stop to downtown Santa Fe is right next to the camp and ran every 15 minutes. Site was reasonably level. We had a new picnic table. We camped at Los Suenos de Santa Fe RV Park in a Motorhome.

The price reflects the weekly rate. Older, well maintained RV park. 30 and 50 amp service available. We had a back-in site. Plenty of room to maneuver and get in. Two washers and two dryers in the ladies room, and one washer and one dryer in the mens room. A bit unusual, but they worked well and we got our wash done. Super friendly and helpful people running the park. We had a vehicle problem on the day we were supposed to leave. Staying two extra days, extended at the weekly rate. Bus service from near the front of the park to the plaza area. Senior ticket $1 for all day. If we ever visit Santa Fe again, we will stay here for sure.
