Great park located an easy 10 minute drive from old town section of Santa Fe. We had a back in site closer to the office that had plenty of room for slides and awning but not a lot of shade there. Glad the sites had amble gravel as it poured rain while we were there. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. We would stay there again. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Shame on me. I just read one of the reviews and decided to stay here. I reserved a 50 amp site for a 40' motorhome with slides and a towed vehicle for a week. When I arrived they sent me to a site that was barely long enough for the motorhome, much less the car. The site is the most unlevel I have encountered in 6 years of fulltime RVing and it only had weak 30 amp electrical. When I went back to the office to talk to them about it they said "sorry" that is the best they could do. Oh, and sorry we overlooked the request for a 50 amp site. They had several open 50 amp sites, but those were reserved for the following weekend. We checked in on a Sunday and they kept those sites open for a week for others, but unwilling to assign me a site that I reserved. I talked to our neighbors that reserved two weeks. They were made to move after one week to an even worse site because their site had been reserved for someone else. This RV park has no concept of resource utilization. The roads are in bad shape and just basically trails through the trees. Sites are very close to neighbors. I will NOT stay here again. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Spent a couple of nights here "wringing out" a new MH. Lots of work being done to get the place ready for the summer season which is a good sign that the owners care. It's a little tight on some turns, but there were plenty of big rigs with toads in the campground. Only issue would be during high season when you had fewer options. Internet was off/on but then, that's the norm anymore. Nice touch is tables all covered with thick vinyl for easy wiping. We'd definitely stay again. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice sites in what was once a KOA. Well-located to get to downtown. Very friendly staff and very clean restrooms. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Tent Trailer.

Camphost/workers are friendly and work hard to keep up the park. But this is an older park - roads are in poor shape and turns are difficult. We watched a large motorhome have to backup twice to make a turn from his site to the exit. Overpriced for the condition of the sites and roads. Likely will not stay here again. The good: close to the city without being in the city. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here for two nights. Wi-Fi didn't work at all in our site. Antennae for TV stations worked well. Tight roads to get to our site. Gravel and dusty campground. Office employees were very nice and helpful. Average park experience here. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

The best part about this park is that its convenient to Santa Fe, but its full of tight turns, making access very difficult. When we were leaving, the MH next to us was pulled so far forward that we couldn't make the turn around him. We had to go through another site, which was luckily empty, but even then it took us about 30 minutes to work our way out. Laundry was convenient and clean. Electric was good, but water pressure was so low we had to turn on our pump. Wi-Fi was OK, and both Verizon and ATT had signal. We would look elsewhere next time, for sure. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a funky campground south of Santa Fe. It's convenient because it's close to the city, and the staff is helpful and friendly. However, $41/night is too expensive for what it offers. The campground roads are narrow and turns can be challenging. There is a dog area for small dogs, but there is also a fairly long trail that can be used for a dog walk (or a regular walk). The laundry is good, but one of the washers and one of the dryers I tried using didn't operate. We couldn't connect to the campground Wi-Fi, but Verizon 4G service was very good. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

The roads appear narrow, but we had no issues navigating them to our site which had a crushed stone surface and, while long required you to position your coach to level. There is a trail and there are other treed areas for walking. The staff is very friendly. Although just off I-25, the campground was remarkably quite. The main downside is the sand/gravel roads which were muddy due to the six days of torrential downpours. We would stay here again. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Good park but site would have been too sloped for a class A. Gravel pull throughs, electric and water at $33 Good Sam price. Friendly office, easy access but the bigger the rig the tighter. Would stay again. WiFi was good but unsecure. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Well, it's a nice park, it is..but we hate being treated like second class because we have a small rig. We pay just as much as the big rigs, but they gave us the smallest spot in the park. That is not fair! The other spots in this park have shade and nice tables. Our table is trash, our site is small and we feel like second class citizens because our rig is smaller than others. We will NOT be staying here again and we can only hope that they do not treat others this way. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice clean park with Friendly and helpful owners. We would stay here again. Close to Old Santa Fe. Located right off a main road so you will have some road noise if your put in the front sites. The park roads are gravel as our the sites so you have some dust as people drive past. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Funky, former KOA (or so it would appear) with rather haphazardly laid out roads and sites. Roads are narrow and dirt/gravel. Sites vary in size, width, and proximity to other rigs. Sites are mostly dirt, not too level. Picnic tables are included along with fire pits. Staff was very friendly. Wi-Fi was strong. Satellite worked well also. About ten minutes to Santa Fe. Very quiet. Laundry is expensive per load ($2). No discount on daily/wkly price. Park could use some polishing. We would probably return though. We are camped in a 35' RV and there is room for both our rig and our truck. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed 2 nights. Very tight in some areas, but there are a lot of pull-throughs for larger rigs. Kind of old school camping in the woods. Some spots are very secluded and nice. There are some not too good spots which we ended up in because of Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque. All the parks are full and they all raised the rates. Laundry was pretty clean, but very old equipment. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.

We had a great site (#69). It was a pull-through, level site and out of the way. The folks that ran the office were great, they re-assigned us to this site once we told them we were going to stay for a week. Very cool. Beware this is a campground type of RV park: dirt roads and sites. The site was level and easy access. We camped at Rancheros de Santa Fe Campground in a Motorhome.
