Park is now closed to RVs. We tried to stay and were told by the on-site property that the Rodeo is no longer able to accept RVs. Apparently the Rodeo does not have the proper licensing/permitting to operate an RV park. The manager was nice enough to let us park for the night with no services since it was getting dark. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Motorhome.

We moved to this location after reading about it. You get what you pay for. We got full hookups close to the center of town. It was no frills, but the price was right. The location was quiet and secure. There are enough channels to get some decent television with your antenna. The only complaint was the need for a long sewer hose. Luckily I had that. Other than that, this place was great for the price. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Tent Trailer.

In town location, great price. Not busy. Sandy sites, a bit unlevel with bonus horse droppings in your site. Gated entry, safe area and very quiet at night. Would stay again instead of paying twice as much or more at the other campgrounds. 30 amp only, back-in only. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Motorhome.

The campground is right next to the arena which was fine. There was an issue of what to do with our trash. The manager expected us to walk around the arena near a residence (trailer) on the other side of the arena. When I called the owner, he made the manager place a trash barrel near us. Other than that, it was fine. The campground is very basic but adequate. We stayed here with other RVers for a Habitat for Humanity build and got a $5 break on the nightly fee so it only cost us $15/night. A bonus for us was the barrel racing that happened every Wednesday night. Horse trailers pulled up and we were treated to a couple of hours of friendly club competition. The location is good and on the outskirts of town but still close to everything. We probably would stay again. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Motorhome.

If you're wondering why I gave this a 10, after reading the other reviews, that's because this place is an absolute BARGAIN for anyone who wants to visit beautiful Santa Fe and doesn't want to pay the outrageous prices that the nearby full service RV parks charge. This is our 3rd time here and we've never paid less than $35 a night. Many thanks to the first RVer here who wrote about it. Yes, the fairgrounds are basic and nothing more than a gravel parking lot against some bleachers. But the spots are spaced apart fairly wide, they can fit any sized rig, and there's full hookups for TWENTY BUCKS a night! The RV area is tucked away from the street so it's relatively quiet. And, you're in the heart of Santa Fe without having to pay a huge price. Bring exact change, cash only, and be sure to call ahead to warn them you're coming. The gate is locked and you must be let in when you arrive. You can get to it from either Cerrillos Rd. or St. Francis off I-25. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Fifth Wheel.

Great place to park if you want an inexpensive, safe place close to the sites. No frills, no bathrooms or any other amenities - just the basics. Be sure to call first since the entrance is different than what is listed on the website. Manager will give you the code to get in. If you don't like the smell of a farm or dirt surroundings, don't stay here. The RVs are backed up to the cattle pen-there were only a few steers and 2 horses, but they do smell when the wind is blowing towards the RV sites. Bring cash. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Fifth Wheel.

Not a place to go if you want a scenic view. Very functional, with water sewer and electric. Easy to maneuver, no bright lights, secure with a security gate. Good place to set as home base to go to the plaza and other points. Shopping malls and stores are close by. We spent 4 nights here. Rodeo hosts will help you with places to go to as they are long time residents. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Fifth Wheel.

We camped here with 3 other Care-A-Vanners with Habitat for Humanity for a build in Santa Fe. The sites at the Rodeo grounds are very basic. We were parked backing up to the bleachers. It was fine but if you are looking for something nice this is not it. If you are looking for value this is good. In Santa Fe this location is a good value. $15 per night is hard to find anywhere else. You may need an extra 15 feet of water hose and two sewer hoses depending on where your site it. I would camp here again. It is more secure than a Wall-Mart parking lot and has a locking gate which are a plus. We camped at Rodeo de Santa Fe in a Motorhome.
