We visit this rv park 2-3 times a year. It is normally very clean but this time we noticed significant trash under the bushes at our campsite. Additionally, we were parked close to the clubhouse and the farolitos that usually light up the tops of the stucco walls surrounding the patio area were melted and completely ruined, yet had not been cleaned off the building. It looked very bad, very messy. We brought both issues to the attention of the office workers halfway thru our week long stay, but nothing was done to clean things up. For the increased prices, we hope they act to keep the park clean. It is a beautiful location and the staff is pleasant. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We enjoyed our three-week stay at this campground. It was a good base to visit Santa Fe, Ghost Ranch and other surrounding points of interest. The mountain views and sunsets from the campground are beautiful. We really enjoyed the sculptures throughout the campground-a very nice added touch. Our site more than fit us, which is always nice. It is one of the nicest commercial campgrounds that we have found near a larger/tourist city. A unique combination of pretty views, sculptures, a site that fit us, and it was quiet ... a mix that we have not found otherwise. The only negative is site spacing in general (side to side) is not spacious, but not bad-in our particular site, it was fine. Also, the people who work here are very nice and customer service focused (when making reservations, checking in, etc.)-which further adds to the appeal! We will return. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here during Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta so price was higher than usual. Very clean, fun RV Park. Laundry uses credit cards. Cost $10 to wash and dry two loads. Beautifully landscaped with quirky sculptures. Nice concrete patio and great views. 3/4 mile walking trail great for dogs and humans. Convenient to everything in Santa Fe. Helpful when we had a trailer brake issue. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This park Is very convenient to I-25 but far enough away that we didn't hear any road noise. The roads and sites are gravel with a concrete patio at each site. We were in a pull-thru site but there are also back-in sites available. Our site was not very long so we had to park our truck sideways in front of it. No cable, but we pulled in lots of stations OTA. We had 3 bars 4G of ATT. The park WiFi is so-so. It worked one minute, then wouldn't connect a few minutes later. They have an off-leash dog park, a walking trail around the park, and some interesting art work and antique pieces scattered throughout. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Stayed here for a week while visiting in the area. This is a good park in a great location. It is family owned and operated. Located a mile off I-25 on the south side of town (8 miles from the old central plaza). Quiet location with some views. Main drive is concrete, rest of park is gravel/dg. Most sites are pull thru, but there are some backins. Nice dog park. 3/4 mile walking path around park perimeter. Utilities worked well. Lots of interesting antiques and artwork scattered throughout. Our site (W3) was long and wide. Had a concrete patio with a picnic table. As an aside, this is not a 'resort'. There is no pool and not much on site for kids. But it is a great base for sightseeing in the area. We would return if we find ourselves in the area again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

8 miles from the old central plaza in downtown Santa Fe. Park is about 12-14 miles from the old town of Madrid - probably most famous for the movie "Wild Hogs" with John Travolta and Tim Allen. Now a thriving artist community. Interesting shops and a couple of tasty restaurants. Easy drive to the Sandia Crest. Several good golf courses in the area - we recommend Cochiti Lake Golf Club.

This is a lovely, friendly place. The owners provide excellent written materials on local restaurants and services. The spaces are typical for a privately owned property but the overall impression is strengthened greatly by the art installations throughout the park. Well done! So handy to have credit card-operated laundry. All sites have concrete pads with tables next to where you park on gravel. Access in/out of Santa Fe is quite good. Will stay here again if we come this way. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

One of our favorites. Great staff who went out of their way to move things around so we could stay another week and not move to another site. Loved our back in site which had a large cement patio and plenty of space. I thought the back in spaces around the perimeter had a little more room and more pleasant atmosphere than the group of pull throughs in front of the office. Office has lots of information about the area and give you a handout with information regarding RV repairs, RV supplies, hospital, veterinarians, truck stops, nearest grocer, Walmart etc. Nice walking trail. Nice sculptures throughout the park. They had free Tango dance lessons one evening a week which was fun! We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Friendly and very helpful staff. It is a quit campground during night hours, no road noise. Rates are acceptable but unfortunately becoming rather expensive after July first for the offered amenities. Sites differ a lot in size. Spotless restrooms and showers. Wi-Fi ok (check the Wi-Fi page on their website for additional information). Complimentary 'Keurig' coffee, tea and choco all day! The nicest sites are on 'Yucca', but some are difficult to back-in. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this park as well as others who have posted. It was a very dusty place (loose powdery stuff), especially having parked closer to the adjoining dirt road in the greater community, where residents drove way too fast and constantly kicked up dirt and dust. I did appreciate the walking trail, however, especially since there were adequate disposal cans and bags. The laundry wasn't great. Not a clean facility and washers are old (they lock so you can't put in fabric softener during rinse cycle and the warm cycle is ice cold). When I asked the staff what the different dryer charges were: $2, $2.50 & $3, he gave me the wrong corresponding time frames and acted like everyone knows this (perhaps they could post it in the laundry room so people wouldn't have to ask). Anyway, unless we were in a pinch, I wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Easy access to interstate with mostly long pull thru sites. Staff friendly and helpful. Park on a mesa with walking path around park and nice views of the surrounding mountains. Sculptures and old equipment was interesting. Plenty of clean restrooms and showers. Concrete slab with either picnic table or small metal table. Good antenna TV (PARK DOES NOT HAVE CABLE) and small trees do not restrict satellite. Interior roads and RV sites were all gravel with no grass. High winds and traffic create lots of dust. Weekly pull thru rate plus tax $41 but normal one day rate of $48 seemed high for a park with no cable and no activities or children area. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of museums and art galleries in Santa Fe. We bought a North American Reciprocal Museum membership which allows one year entrance to a thousand museums across the country. This allowed access to 10 museums and galleries in Santa Fe.

We just don't get the rave reviews about this park. As with everything Santa Fe, it is expensive, which would be okay if this were a resort type of park but it is FAR from that. Check in was fine, the office staff seemed okay but there weren't any park staff to be seen in and around the park and it is in need of attention. Our site (#10) was not level and very narrow for larger rigs (we are 40' with 3 slides). We had to pick up dog waste and debris left by prior guests before setting up. Weeds are everywhere in the park. We found the "yard art" only added to the cluttered and unkempt look of the park. With only gravel roads and sites, it is VERY dusty. Icing on the cake is the laundry facility. In more than two years of full-time travel, we have never paid such exorbitant fees for use of the laundry...$14 total to wash/dry three loads. When returning to Santa Fe, we will seek other alternatives. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Santa Fe is so charming. We enjoyed the old downtown area, the farmer's market at the Railyards, great lunch at Tomasita's and hiking at Picacho Peak. We found the best Margarita in town made by bartender "Skye" at the Agave Lounge inside the El Dorado Hotel & Spa. Ask for her by name.

We have stayed at this park before. This time we planned on a month to attend the Santa Fe Opera. Due to some repair work we had to have done, we ended up staying nearly two months. The sites are fairly long and hookups are excellent. There is no cable, but our satellite had no problem receiving channels. The wifi was adequate, although we used our Verizon. The sunsets here cannot be beat, each night better than the one before. It is close to town and easy in and out. bit rig friendly. Staff was very accomodating, particularly when we had to extend a couple of times. In short, we will be returning in the future. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

So much to do in and around Santa Fe. There are no finer art galleries and restaurants in the world. We particularly enjoyed taken the glass blowing class at Prairie Dog Glass Blowing in the Jackalope complex. Great instructor and good value for the result.

Sites are all gravel with concrete patios. Site was relatively level but narrow. Not much room for our tow vehicle after parking our 43 foot fiver. Wifi was good, water pressure was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Access road was a two lane with no signs to tell you that you are headed correctly. The turn into the RV park is right at where the pavement ends. The path around the perimeter of the RV park is a nice walk and the art pieces and antique machines are interesting to read about. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is our "go to" RV park in Santa Fe. This year we stayed 10 days and enjoyed the 7th night free. The concrete drive way into the park is just the beginning. The pull thru sites are long and level. The wifi is the best we have experienced in years: so good I have not had to use my Verizon Hot Spot. The office staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The park shows the pride the staff takes in keeping the park clean and everything working. Great location for visiting the plaza or going any direction from Santa Fe.
