This really is a beautiful spot. My back in site (YH) was perfectly level with all connections located correctly. Everyone gets a large concrete patio with nice furniture. It only gets a 9 because of the gravel pads and roads. Personnel were very nice; it is very quiet here. The back-ins seem to have more space than the pull thrus up top. Everything is clean and well kept. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

It's the best place in town but there is a lot of rood for improvement. My site was so off level and narrow I had to manually level my coach so my step didn't crash into the cement patio slab. I couldn't move over because the sewer pipe was in the way. The landscaping vegetation looks trashy and in need of a major cleanup. Some of the roads need grading, I had to drive through the site in front of me to exit easily. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our second time at this park. We were with 2 other motor homes. We all found this campground very relaxing after a pretty hectic trip up to this point. From the moment you check in you're greeted with chocolate M&M's. They have free coffee, and dog biscuits. Very nice folks own and run this campground. The sunsets are outstanding. Some wonderful props around the campground can give you some good photo opts. About 13 miles from Santa Fe. We loved shopping in Santa Fe. You can find some excellent Indian Jewelry for yourself or gifts. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Definitely going into Santa Fe for shopping. There is a Walmart not far. Another town we drove to was Madrid. It is a little weird (not bad), but lots of shops, and my friends found jewelry.

This continues to be a nice campground when visiting Santa Fe. Just far enough to be quiet and close enough to get to all major site seeing spots within a short drive. Local (New Mexico style) food is abundant and read reviews. Restaurants that have been in business for 25+ years is always a good pick. My only issue is our site was not level (left to right) and could not make it perfect and lived with a leaning floor for two days. I will request a spot near the top next time, and Yes, next time as we like the campground this much. Bathrooms and showers are spotless. Staff is friendly and helpful. Free coffee in the morning is always appreciated. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was my 3rd time staying at this park. I spent the first week in a beautiful back-in site and then extended my stay for another 3 nights which required me to move to one of the pull-throughs. Fortunately, it was at the end of a row, which afforded me the same views of the amazing sunset every evening. This is a professionally managed RV park, and its location, up on a hill above Santa Fe, offers spectacular vistas of the mountains. As someone who enjoys the area, Santa Fe Skies has become my "go-to" park. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Lots to do and see in the area including historic downtown Santa Fe, Los Alamos, Pecos, Jemez Springs and the Valles Caldera. Santa Fe offers many great restaurants and art galleries. For those who are in to "mechanical" antiques, scattered around the RV park are numerous "hit-and-miss" stationary motors, old trucks and tractors.

Good sams rate but 10% tax added back in so discount washes out . Our 5 th summer to stay here , park looks almost full. Fabulous mass views of surrounding valleys etc rustic desert landscaping with antique ranch equipment plus a huge assortment of sculptures. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Park was hard to find initially. Check in process was excellent with the customer service person very friendly. Roads in the park are very narrow, hilly and gravel. The site I received was level and easy to back into. Service road behind my site had traffic at times that kicked up a lot of dust. Showers and rest area was clean. But no where to sit in the shower area or rest area. made putting on shoes difficult. The staff in the office were every friendly . The fee of $48 in off season was rather high. With a longer than 35' rig I would definitely get a pull through site which were basically a gravel parking lot. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was an overnight stop. We were early. Plenty of space to walk the dog. Just a little elevated so had a desert view of the area. It was easy to get into town for dinner. Easy and n and off freeway. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very expensive with sites very close together. The sculptures created by one of the owners are nice but the rest of park is just blah. Nothing special except a place to stay if you have to while you visit Santa Fe. Won't stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Unfortunately, this is not one of our favorite parks. It is in Santa Fe and it is expensive but it doesn't live up to the price tag. The main advantage is the park is close to Santa Fe. There is also the Rail Runner train station nearby. It is an inexpensive and convenient method of transportation to downtown. The entrance leading into the park is concrete but the interior roads are gravel and dust - you will get dirty! Many fellow rv'ers drove too fast kicking up even more dust. Other than at check-in, we never saw any staff members. Out site was gravel, narrow and unlevel. The laundry facilities are very expensive so save that task for another park. There is little to no landscaping except for a few trees and some modern art. Use of a weed eater would make a definite improvement! For the most part, other than the odd siren or two, it was pretty quiet at night. Directv satellite is good. Verizon 4g 4 bars but not reliable. Don't rely on the Wi-Fi - it's passable when you can get on, which isn't often, and even then it will kick you off after a bit. We were warned by fellow RVer that bikes have been stolen so we tucked ours in the back of our toad. One curiosity - when we checked in of course they asked if we had pets which we don't. Yet they put us in a site right across from the dog park. There were plenty of other empty sites so it makes no sense. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our third stay here, so we must like it. Mainly because it is so convenient to everything. Interior roads (and pads) were gravel, and dusty. Office staff was helpful and friendly. Sites were reasonably level. The only negative is beyond their control, it is the wind. The park is on a ridge and subject to strong winds, be careful with awnings! Laundry was fine but a tad expensive ($3 a load). Nice sculptures and antiques to look at and a 1/2 mile walking trail. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a combination RV park / sculpture garden - very Santa Fe. The spots are separated by wild flowers, which gives some attractive privacy, but the sites are relatively small and it is dusty. There is a nice sized dog run, which actually is big enough for the dogs to run. There is also a walking trail around the campground with pretty views. The back-in spots around the periphery share those views. We had a somewhat larger pull-thru spot next to the office, but it was very busy. Overall a pleasant, convenient place to stay. We would return. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was a great park south of town, but still convenient to everything. We stayed in the lower, back-in sites, which seemed to have more space between them than the pull-thrus on the upper level. There are a lot of metal art pieces throughout the park which was cool to see, and was in keeping with the artsy feel of Santa Fe. All utilities worked well, and the free WiFi worked well, too. There is a nice 3/4 mile trail that follows the perimeter of the park; great for walking your dog, or taking an evening stroll to enjoy the beautiful sunsets there. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Two parks in one. The upper section has your standard side by side pull through sites. The lower section has more disbursed mostly back in sites. Most sites have concrete patios and tables. The park is very quiet and away from the traffic, noise, etc. of Santa Fe. Still close enough in to get to anywhere in Santa Fe in 10-15 minutes. The views of the mountains in the distance are great and some spectacular sunsets. The park is very clean and well run although we did have some problems with our initial reservation. Have stayed here 4 times and will stay again on our next trip to Santa Fe. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.
