We just don't get the rave reviews about this park. As with everything Santa Fe, it is expensive, which would be okay if this were a resort type of park but it is FAR from that. Check in was fine, the office staff seemed okay but there weren't any park staff to be seen in and around the park and it is in need of attention. Our site (#10) was not level and very narrow for larger rigs (we are 40' with 3 slides). We had to pick up dog waste and debris left by prior guests before setting up. Weeds are everywhere in the park. We found the "yard art" only added to the cluttered and unkempt look of the park. With only gravel roads and sites, it is VERY dusty. Icing on the cake is the laundry facility. In more than two years of full-time travel, we have never paid such exorbitant fees for use of the laundry...$14 total to wash/dry three loads. When returning to Santa Fe, we will seek other alternatives. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Santa Fe is so charming. We enjoyed the old downtown area, the farmer's market at the Railyards, great lunch at Tomasita's and hiking at Picacho Peak. We found the best Margarita in town made by bartender "Skye" at the Agave Lounge inside the El Dorado Hotel & Spa. Ask for her by name.

Unfortunately, this is not one of our favorite parks. It is in Santa Fe and it is expensive but it doesn't live up to the price tag. The main advantage is the park is close to Santa Fe. There is also the Rail Runner train station nearby. It is an inexpensive and convenient method of transportation to downtown. The entrance leading into the park is concrete but the interior roads are gravel and dust - you will get dirty! Many fellow rv'ers drove too fast kicking up even more dust. Other than at check-in, we never saw any staff members. Out site was gravel, narrow and unlevel. The laundry facilities are very expensive so save that task for another park. There is little to no landscaping except for a few trees and some modern art. Use of a weed eater would make a definite improvement! For the most part, other than the odd siren or two, it was pretty quiet at night. Directv satellite is good. Verizon 4g 4 bars but not reliable. Don't rely on the Wi-Fi - it's passable when you can get on, which isn't often, and even then it will kick you off after a bit. We were warned by fellow RVer that bikes have been stolen so we tucked ours in the back of our toad. One curiosity - when we checked in of course they asked if we had pets which we don't. Yet they put us in a site right across from the dog park. There were plenty of other empty sites so it makes no sense. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very expensive with sites very close together. The sculptures created by one of the owners are nice but the rest of park is just blah. Nothing special except a place to stay if you have to while you visit Santa Fe. Won't stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed at this park before. This time we planned on a month to attend the Santa Fe Opera. Due to some repair work we had to have done, we ended up staying nearly two months. The sites are fairly long and hookups are excellent. There is no cable, but our satellite had no problem receiving channels. The wifi was adequate, although we used our Verizon. The sunsets here cannot be beat, each night better than the one before. It is close to town and easy in and out. bit rig friendly. Staff was very accomodating, particularly when we had to extend a couple of times. In short, we will be returning in the future. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

So much to do in and around Santa Fe. There are no finer art galleries and restaurants in the world. We particularly enjoyed taken the glass blowing class at Prairie Dog Glass Blowing in the Jackalope complex. Great instructor and good value for the result.

This is our third stay here, so we must like it. Mainly because it is so convenient to everything. Interior roads (and pads) were gravel, and dusty. Office staff was helpful and friendly. Sites were reasonably level. The only negative is beyond their control, it is the wind. The park is on a ridge and subject to strong winds, be careful with awnings! Laundry was fine but a tad expensive ($3 a load). Nice sculptures and antiques to look at and a 1/2 mile walking trail. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just loved it there. The old equipment that they have on display with signs telling you what it was used for along with the metal artwork that was scattered thru out the park was delightful. Great walking path that circled the entire park. Will stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is a combination RV park / sculpture garden - very Santa Fe. The spots are separated by wild flowers, which gives some attractive privacy, but the sites are relatively small and it is dusty. There is a nice sized dog run, which actually is big enough for the dogs to run. There is also a walking trail around the campground with pretty views. The back-in spots around the periphery share those views. We had a somewhat larger pull-thru spot next to the office, but it was very busy. Overall a pleasant, convenient place to stay. We would return. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sites are all gravel with concrete patios. Site was relatively level but narrow. Not much room for our tow vehicle after parking our 43 foot fiver. Wifi was good, water pressure was good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Access road was a two lane with no signs to tell you that you are headed correctly. The turn into the RV park is right at where the pavement ends. The path around the perimeter of the RV park is a nice walk and the art pieces and antique machines are interesting to read about. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I ignored the other posts about the landscaping as my sister-in-law raved about this park. It is obvious that weed control is not a priority. I realize this is the desert, but for what we were charged, we were disappointed. Sites are fairly level, but when you have a smaller motorhome, 27', spaces are pretty close together. This is our "go to" RV park in Santa Fe. This year we stayed 10 days and enjoyed the 7th night free. The concrete drive way into the park is just the beginning. The pull thru sites are long and level. The wifi is the best we have experienced in years: so good I have not had to use my Verizon Hot Spot. The office staff is knowledgeable and helpful. The park shows the pride the staff takes in keeping the park clean and everything working. Great location for visiting the plaza or going any direction from Santa Fe. Try the Tent Rocks for a great hike: bring plenty of water! And a great geology lesson about the area. At Chimayo try the Rancho de Chimayo for lunch. We did and enjoyed the drive as well as the food.

Two parks in one. The upper section has your standard side by side pull through sites. The lower section has more disbursed mostly back in sites. Most sites have concrete patios and tables. The park is very quiet and away from the traffic, noise, etc. of Santa Fe. Still close enough in to get to anywhere in Santa Fe in 10-15 minutes. The views of the mountains in the distance are great and some spectacular sunsets. The park is very clean and well run although we did have some problems with our initial reservation. Have stayed here 4 times and will stay again on our next trip to Santa Fe. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

I have stayed at this park for the last 3 years. I know it well, and here are my thoughts. We stayed the month of August. Each year the rate has gone up . This year $900 for the month.I didn't know this until I got to the park, even though they had sent me 3 emails after I made my reservation. Here is what you get for the money. Great views, good location, clean bath house, concrete patio, no speed bumps. This is the bad news : All roads except entry are gravel, so there is a lot of dust. Maybe the worst Wifi of any park we've stayed. No cable TV, no pool, no events. No street lights, so very hard to see after dark. No at-site trash pick up, no one to help you get to your site. Park not well kept, most areas overgrown All this for $900.00 a month ??? We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This was a great park south of town, but still convenient to everything. We stayed in the lower, back-in sites, which seemed to have more space between them than the pull-thrus on the upper level. There are a lot of metal art pieces throughout the park which was cool to see, and was in keeping with the artsy feel of Santa Fe. All utilities worked well, and the free WiFi worked well, too. There is a nice 3/4 mile trail that follows the perimeter of the park; great for walking your dog, or taking an evening stroll to enjoy the beautiful sunsets there. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.
