Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this park as well as others who have posted. It was a very dusty place (loose powdery stuff), especially having parked closer to the adjoining dirt road in the greater community, where residents drove way too fast and constantly kicked up dirt and dust. I did appreciate the walking trail, however, especially since there were adequate disposal cans and bags. The laundry wasn't great. Not a clean facility and washers are old (they lock so you can't put in fabric softener during rinse cycle and the warm cycle is ice cold). When I asked the staff what the different dryer charges were: $2, $2.50 & $3, he gave me the wrong corresponding time frames and acted like everyone knows this (perhaps they could post it in the laundry room so people wouldn't have to ask). Anyway, unless we were in a pinch, I wouldn't stay here again. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

There are no taxis in the area! We had a breakdown and it took over 2 hours to get help. Finally got a ride from a Lyft driver.

Unfortunately, this is not one of our favorite parks. It is in Santa Fe and it is expensive but it doesn't live up to the price tag. The main advantage is the park is close to Santa Fe. There is also the Rail Runner train station nearby. It is an inexpensive and convenient method of transportation to downtown. The entrance leading into the park is concrete but the interior roads are gravel and dust - you will get dirty! Many fellow rv'ers drove too fast kicking up even more dust. Other than at check-in, we never saw any staff members. Out site was gravel, narrow and unlevel. The laundry facilities are very expensive so save that task for another park. There is little to no landscaping except for a few trees and some modern art. Use of a weed eater would make a definite improvement! For the most part, other than the odd siren or two, it was pretty quiet at night. Directv satellite is good. Verizon 4g 4 bars but not reliable. Don't rely on the Wi-Fi - it's passable when you can get on, which isn't often, and even then it will kick you off after a bit. We were warned by fellow RVer that bikes have been stolen so we tucked ours in the back of our toad. One curiosity - when we checked in of course they asked if we had pets which we don't. Yet they put us in a site right across from the dog park. There were plenty of other empty sites so it makes no sense. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We just don't get the rave reviews about this park. As with everything Santa Fe, it is expensive, which would be okay if this were a resort type of park but it is FAR from that. Check in was fine, the office staff seemed okay but there weren't any park staff to be seen in and around the park and it is in need of attention. Our site (#10) was not level and very narrow for larger rigs (we are 40' with 3 slides). We had to pick up dog waste and debris left by prior guests before setting up. Weeds are everywhere in the park. We found the "yard art" only added to the cluttered and unkempt look of the park. With only gravel roads and sites, it is VERY dusty. Icing on the cake is the laundry facility. In more than two years of full-time travel, we have never paid such exorbitant fees for use of the laundry...$14 total to wash/dry three loads. When returning to Santa Fe, we will seek other alternatives. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Santa Fe is so charming. We enjoyed the old downtown area, the farmer's market at the Railyards, great lunch at Tomasita's and hiking at Picacho Peak. We found the best Margarita in town made by bartender "Skye" at the Agave Lounge inside the El Dorado Hotel & Spa. Ask for her by name.

I have stayed at this park for the last 3 years. I know it well, and here are my thoughts. We stayed the month of August. Each year the rate has gone up . This year $900 for the month.I didn't know this until I got to the park, even though they had sent me 3 emails after I made my reservation. Here is what you get for the money. Great views, good location, clean bath house, concrete patio, no speed bumps. This is the bad news : All roads except entry are gravel, so there is a lot of dust. Maybe the worst Wifi of any park we've stayed. No cable TV, no pool, no events. No street lights, so very hard to see after dark. No at-site trash pick up, no one to help you get to your site. Park not well kept, most areas overgrown All this for $900.00 a month ??? We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

I ignored the other posts about the landscaping as my sister-in-law raved about this park. It is obvious that weed control is not a priority. I realize this is the desert, but for what we were charged, we were disappointed. Sites are fairly level, but when you have a smaller motorhome, 27', spaces are pretty close together. Overall Rating:

This park has the potential to be great. The walking trail is nice and the skies are beautiful. We booked for a month so was told we couldn't book a pull thru site. We left after 6 nights. They change the rate on us 3 times from the time of booking "$750" to the time we arrived "$1100". At check in they told us our site was no longer available for a monthly rate. We called 3 times to let them know we had purchased a new RV and was now 45ft. When we arrived, they had never updated the system to reflect the change therefore, we were basically hanging in the road. We went to the office after surveying the site and asked for a pull thru since we only paid for one week. They checked their system and said they were booked during our stay. The property is not maintained, there are goat heads and sandburs everywhere. The dogs got them in their paws and carried them in the RV to the point that we put booties on them each time they went out. There is a dog park but it's not close to most sites and it wasn't always clean. If you book make sure you are in a pull thru site as they are the nicest and if you have dogs beware of the weeds. We were very disappointed since we had meet others on our travels who raved about this park. We wouldn't only stay here again for an over night stop. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed at this Rv park a year ago and it was clean with nice Level sites. We stayed for one night on July 30,2017 and was very disappointed. The weeds were out of control with bull head stickers which if you have a dog not good!!!! and the sites were not level. Our tires were off the ground 3 inches on one side. Won't stay here again. Owners are not maintaining the grounds any more. It was disappointing to see this. Too many weeds. Younger family running the front desk, but could be out taking care of the grounds. Our site had a dead rabbit on it and dog poop. Although rules tell campers to pick up their own dog poop, we all know that doesn't happen. So in light of that, owners of campground should inspect each site when camper has left and clean the site up for the next camper. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

We have stayed here several times but this will be our last. The park is expensive, but was worth it because of the nice common areas. But this time after the park was full so they started parking motorhomes in the common areas or blocking access to common areas. This to me was just greed on the part of the park and took away from the benefit of staying here. If there are no spaces left, just tell those that did not make reservations that you are full instead of impacting those that already paid for sites. I'm not accustomed to leaving bad reviews for parks, so I'll just say this: I admit that I had pretty high expectations for this park based on the high price, previous reviews and recommendations from friends; my unrealistic expectations may very well be the reason I'm as disappointed as I am. Regardless, we will not be back. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nearby Santa Fe and Albuquerque are nice, especially the Plaza in Santa Fe and Old Town in ABQ. By far, the most fun we had was at Meow Wolf in Santa Fe... more than enough reason to come back.

An older park and it's showing it's age. The sites are very close together and a little tricky to maneuver into with longer rigs and aren't really maintained at all. Our sewer connection was little more than a hole in the ground, no cap and our patio was maybe 3' wide. It took 3 blocks all the way down the side of our rig to level out. And while we don't generally hook up cable, the antenna/cable wires were just cut off bare wires sticking out of the ground - useless and ugly. The sites haven't been mowed or weeded in probably five years. The park itself is cute, with art all over the place and a VERY nice and clean main facility where the restrooms and showers are. It's really close to town and very convenient and the people we met were quite nice and accommodating. The Internet was rock solid the first day and non existent the next, so plan on bringing your own. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

We come to Santa Fe for one main reason: Jackalope. The other reason is the Santa Fe Plaza. If you want some really nice pots and yard stuff hit up Jackalope and a couple other places on Cerillos that are just for that purpose. We dropped $1,000 on pots and yard goodies. The plaza is only about 20 minutes into town where you can see all the shops and stop by La Fonda. Santa Fe is a great place to decompress for a few days.

The place is just generally run down. Nasty washers and dryers. They were working on the water several times while we were there. They had originally blocked off our spot with a backhoe so took forever to get parked and then we BARELY fit. Wifi was nada and it was just overall underwhelming. Can do better. A lot good here. Nice facilities, friendly staff, quiet location with views, interesting outdoor art. Wifi worked pretty well for us. Phone service fine.

Not so good was the leveling of the sites. In order to get level, our MH wheels were several inches off the ground on one side. Noticed other sites with the same problem. This is something that's not that hard to fix and was highly disappointing for a park of this quality. Some sites also could use some re-graveling. Very tight spaces. Even with the nice concrete pad and table, you are really close to your neighbor. Unless you are on the end, you do not have a view except of another RV!! Laundry room is tiny and hot. Nice patio facilities but nothing really going on there. Just an efficiently run park that feels very commercial trying to cram as many in as possible with the least amount of effort. Showers and baths were nice. Would probably look for another park to stay. Just did not like the sardine feel and lack of view. We camped at Santa Fe Skies RV Park in a Motorhome.
