Overall Rating:

This park feels like a pleasant respite within the busy city, with large trees, grass lawns, and a quiet feel despite being convenient to all of Santa Fe's attractions. The paved roads are easy to navigate, and our back-in gravel site was quite private and very spacious for our 37' MH and car. Water, electricity, and sewer connections were conveniently placed. WiFi was reliable and provided reasonable thruput. We didn't use the bathrooms. Laundry was clean, neat, and reasonably priced. The staff were cheerful and helpful. We we thought this was a decent value overall for the price. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

This is a "mature" park (like many of us). They work really hard to keep it well maintained. The spots are wide, and lots of old mature trees. The staff was more friendly than we usually see. They even take your empty propane bottles, fill them, and return them to your rig. Yes, they charge for the propane, but you don't lug them around. They welcome dogs, with many areas for them to walk, and supplies to allow you to clean up after your pet. You get easy access to the city bus line to go all over for only $2 per day. On a busy street, but not a problem as they have a thick wall as a sound barrier. Feels like you are in the country, even though you are in the city. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Friendly, helpful staff - we stayed 6 nights in a back-in site. RV Park is separate division from park models - RVs are located in front of property. Nicely divided between camp site areas. Property is well maintained and clean. You will hear street noise in the day time, but very little at night. Great location -- bus stops in front - close to shopping and within 10 -15 minutes drive to old town. Quick easy access to freeways. First RV park that had Recycle bins!! Highly recommend for touring Santa Fe and surrounding areas. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We found that you can park for free in the visitors center parking lot and then take the free shuttles to Museum Hill or the Plaza or the Historic district. A fun day trip to Los Alamos and Bandelier National Monument. Chimayó is also within a hours drive.

We stayed in a site up front, very close to the entrance, which was ok but not excellent. There was a camera pointed right at our rig, which was a little unnerving. The campground was very nice though and quite spacious. The gravel was a lot nicer than you'd typically see. The staff was very helpful in helping us into the spot. The location is close enough to town, and there's a shuttle that we didn't use. I thought it was a bit pricey for what was offered, but it was a good park. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Price was for a week, 6 days for the price of 7. Not much grass but the place is immaculate with doggie bags and containers all over. There is a 1/2 acre dog run to the far end of the park. They took mail and packages in the office for us. It's not located in the middle of town but it is close. You can take the bus downtown from here for $1 for all day. Do not show up after 5:oo because you can't stay. There is a Walmart about 1 half mile from here. The only suggestion I have is that they could put a chair in the showers somewhere. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

We stayed here twice in the last 10 days. More expensive than usual due to Balloon Fiesta. Very efficient check-in. Bus stop right outside the RV Park gate to downtown. Some sites have patios and concrete pads. Neither of ours did. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.

Campground is very clean, check-in was easy. We were led to our site and assisted in backing in. At reservation we were warned about no late arrivals. We also were notified by e-mail about arriving before the office closed, at 1730. There is no over night parking if you do arrive late. A Walmart is not far from the park for possible parking but we never had to use it. The sites are gravel with a brick patio, no fire pit and no charcoal grills are permitted. Propane grills are allowed. Sites are very close. Good cell service; we were able to get satellite service. Heated pool is good. Cable TV is available. We stayed for five days. Very clean, well-run campground. We had a back-in site with good satellite RV signal. Very weak Verizon cell service (kept dropping calls), weak Verizon data. Park wifi was pretty good most of the time. Staff was friendly. Laundry was clean and machines worked well. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Travel Trailer.

We have stayed here before and my biggest complaint would be that the restrooms are cleaned during a period in the morning before checkout, when most people are trying to shower so they can leave on time. My only other complaint would be that they are sticklers for no late arrivals (we stayed there before and knew the drill, so there should have been some slack for circumstances beyond control). The bus system into downtown is VERY convenient and inexpensive which saves you the hassle of parking. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Motorhome.

This is the second time we have stayed at this park. It is an older park with excellent management. The bus stop in front of the park providing convenient transportation to shopping and the downtown plaza. We will definitely stay here again if traveling to Santa Fe. Camped 2 nights. Nice large level site. For first timers the turn in can be tricky, as noted in other reviews. Agree with all other positive reviews. We take the city bus to the downtown plaza, $1.00 for senior day pass or $2.00 for others. The bus stop is directly in front of the park. Wifi unuseable,no cable, limited over the air tv.man, many signs stating NO dogs on the grass, really! Many sights no chance of satelite due to trees, many sights looked ok but ours was between two house trailers, not what i expect. Hookups were good, most sights were level, the grass was very green!! Nice spaces and even though close it was fine. We were in a 42' 5th wheel that we had to back in and it was fine. Dog Park was a little bit of a walk but very nice. The dog park had water, bags, toys and a shade canopy. Park is close to a busy road but once you get off that road it was fine. Street to turn off on came up pretty quickly so go slow or you could miss it. They also close office at 5:30 pm so if you can't get here by then you won't be able to stay here so plan accordingly. They escort every rig into their space and don't have an after-hours check-in system. We camped at Trailer Ranch RV Park (55+ Park) in a Fifth Wheel.

Park is right in town, so you don't have to go far for any of your needs. I was given a concrete back-in FHU site for my 42' 5th wheel. Site (T-22) is plenty big enough for the RV and to disconnect and park my truck. The laundry and bathroom are clean and up to date. The wi-fi is some of the fastest I've seen. The place is beautifully landscaped with picnic table, chairs and you can hang clothes if you desire to. Would use this park again for sure.
