If you stay for a week you only pay for 5 nights. This is a small and very quiet campground. Mostly full timers with a few sites available for tourists. We had site 5 and it had some shade. Temps in the 70's low 80's so you really didn't need shade. Road to campground is a very dusty, bumpy, dirt road. Not their fault, it's not their road, it's a county maintained road. When you arrive Stop just inside the brick entry, the road to the sites is very close and if you stop at the office you'll have to back your rig up to go to your site. The owners are very nice and accommodating. They go out of way to make sure everything is okay. The owner shows you to your site. The office is a house with one restroom for women and one for men, doors are locked at 8PM and opened before 7AM. Restroom is clean, didn't used the shower. trash is emptied many times during the day. Didn't use the laundry, there's one washer and one dryer. One of the bedrooms has exercise equipment, there's tons of books, puzzles, and magazines to read and a lot of DVD's. Everything is on the honor system. 2 suggestions: one would be to put an electronic numeric push button lock on the door so you can use the restrooms later in the evening and the second suggestion is to add a fenced doggie park. There's space behind the trash bins to put one in. We would stay here again. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Went to dinner at Sakura's a new Japaneses restaurant in town. It was good, they just opened and didn't have their liqueur license yet. Cliff Dwellings were very interesting to see and learn the history. Caution it's a very steep climb with some hand rails and lots of loose gravel and narrow paths.

Very nice campground that is well cared for by the owners. Yes, the road in is dirt and washboarded a bit, but the owners can't fix that fact. The CG is well laid out for privacy and the views. Utilities worked well. WiFi was great for surfing but I wouldn't count on it for streaming. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This a very cozy picturesque small gravel rv park which we used as an overnight stop from Tucson to Las Cruces. Beautiful views of the mountains which we had from our dinette out our left side windows. We had site 5 which is a pull thru but only fit our 35' coach & had to unhook toad. Office has an inviting porch with rocking chairs. Inside is set up as a homey living room with comfy furniture & movie and book libraries The owner & her husband are lovely people who showed us to our site & remained until we were all hooked up & settled in. Excellent customer service! Cash is necessary tender. Unfortunately our satellite TV didn't work but we got local channels - there is no cable. Only drawback is the bumpy dirt Flury Road to CG. Must go SLOW! Would definitely return. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Motorhome.

They did add gravel to their road and some sites over the summer. I was happy with my pull-through site, it is narrow however landscaping on both sides, don't have to be next to another RV. The back-in's do offer more privacy. Owners very nice and take pride in their park, they gave me information on activities in the area. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Visit the park, see plenty of things and cliff dwellings. Also going to "Cat Walk" was amazing, didn't realize it follows a river bed, wear good sandles like Tiva to walk through river and up & over rocks. Another enjoyable activity was the 2 mile hike to "dragonfly petroglyph".

Oh my gosh what a gem of a place! We were only going to stay 4 nights and ended up staying almost two weeks while we waited for our AZ town to cool down a bit. The owners are beyond fabulous. The "clubhouse" was actually a home once upon a time and now is a lovely place to hang out with a front porch and rocking chairs. It is just outside of Silver City. Owner will call you and make sure you know how to get there.

The only drawback is the dirt road getting into the park. It is very full of ruts and washboarding so take it slow. Once you get there though--heaven! She does have some long term folks, all very nice. There are limited spots for big rigs and it can be tricky getting around as it is an older park. We absolutely would stay and will stay here again! Can't say enough good things about this park and you will love the owners. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Motorhome.

This place is a absolute jewel! The landscaping was very nice with all the southwest plants and cactus. Mr. and Mrs. Manzano were so kind and would have done anything to make our stay really special. We were given site #7 which wasn't level and wifi was spotty so we moved to site #16 which was much better. The campground is very quiet with no noise, there is a rough gravel road leading to the campground which is maybe 1/2 mile, so you are away from all the Hiway noise. The price is $30 daily or $160 week, we stayed 9 days and the cost was $235.20. We loved the area with so much to do. The City of Rocks, Chino Mines, Cliff Dwellers and the Catwalk, all were lots of fun. We would definitely go back if we are in the area. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice smaller park in hills E edge of Silver City. Sites have been added. Looks like 25 sites total. Very nice owners take pride in the design of the park. Private nooks at sites in pinyons & junipers, nicely landscaped w native plants & rock walls. Picnic tables in nooks. Level gravel sites, pull-thrus & back-ins. Some sites a little tight. Backed out of our pull-thru, site #4, but easily done. Clubhouse (converted house, open 7a to 8p) has a nice covered porch w several chairs, inside a lounge area w lg. selection of DVD's/VHS movies to borrow, puzzle room, kitchen area, laundry (1-washer, 1-dryer, $1 each), small exercise room w 4 machines & office. Didn't look at restrooms/shower. We would stay here again! We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument is worth the drive. We took Eastern route (hwy 180, L hwy 152, L hwy 35, rt. hwy 15 to Visitor Center & Cliff Dwellings). It's longer in distance, probably not longer in time. Hwy 15 is a very narrow, windy, many sharp turns & slower. Not for long vehicles or trailers. The route we took was scenic & is a 2 lanes all the way. Forrest's Pizza is good, try their garlic knots too. Has WalMart & Alberson's.

This RV park is awesome! It is what the owners wanted to do in their retirement, and they work tirelessly to make it top notch. Most spots are back in and ours was a little troublesome getting into only because we tried the quickest way first but no problem going around the circle and backing into from the other direction. The road coming in is a dirt road but short and maintained. Owners even call you the day before to give you precise directions as GPS doesn't. All sites have a picnic table and a small bench to sit on. Our spot (17) looked out to the west, so beautiful sunsets. As said in other reviews the clubhouse is a converted former home. There is a small workout room, library, kitchen, laundry room (one washer and dryer but $1.00 per load). Everything is spotless! The grounds are nicely landscaped with desert plants. Owners are friendly and helpful. Would definitely return! We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 days, 3 nights. Very active owners. There are two sections to the park - the lower section has 18 full hook up spaces; the upper section has 7. We were in the upper area. Some are pull through, others back in. Gravel on the parking area; easy to level. Each space is private - well landscaped with brush oak, pinion and another kind of tree as well as desert ground landscaping. Each site has a picnic table. They have a well stocked library of videos, DVD's and books in the office/common area. Downside - only one washer and one dryer. Entrance and exit to upper area are a little tight, but doable. We really enjoyed our stay and would return. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We came in at the last minute and got a very nice site (17). back and side had unobstructed views with no sense that we were in a commercial park. "Clubhouse" had a large library of DVDs and books, clean bathrooms, game room, kitchen and laundry. Gravel, close to level. Dirt road entrance with a pretty tight circle for a large motorhome, but really, a great place to stay. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Silver City is a slightly down at the heels, historic town with an artistic bent. Colorful main street and attractive regional university. What really makes this is the extensive National Forest with wonderful drives and the Gila National Monument as the feature. Town has all the resources needed for restocking including a very nice Albertson's and Walmart.

We were so happy with our week at Manzano's RV park. Now, we are spoiled and will be judging all other parks by this one. Clean, quiet, nicely landscaped, with friendly and down-to-earth owners, Manzano's met our every need. Their wifi was strong (we needed for email and skype, but did not stream - didn't want to be "that camper") in our site. If that is important, tell the owner - they will put you in a site near the wifi. Our site was private with trees and plantings on both sides. Our Verizon signal was strong. The laundry machines are inexpensive but there is only one washer and dryer. Since the park is small, this was not a big deal. We walked our dogs and ran and mountain biked on local roads and trails, all within a few minutes. Downtown is about 5 miles away. The bathrooms are squeaky-clean. They are located in the clubhouse, which is more like a real house. The clubhouse features a DVD and book library. Everything is kept well organized and neat as a pin - the owners care very much about this place. Note that the clubhouse closes at eight and opens in the morning at seven, so plan accordingly. We will be coming back in the warmer weather. We loved it here. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Hiking / Mountainbiking nearby at Dragonfly Trail (part of the Gila Wilderness) with a trailhead a mere 3 miles away. About 6 miles away is Boston Hill, which is a little more technical and will give you a workout. A good running route from the campground: Up Flurry all the way to the end, right on Racetrack Road for as far as you need for an out-and-back.

The owners are friendly and very informative about the area and places to visit! The clubhouse has a clean laundry, exercise room, showers, sitting area and a movie library. The problem we encountered was the narrow, rough road getting into the park and the difficulty getting in and out with our 42' fifth wheel. Quite a struggle! Smaller rigs would be okay. Beautiful, natural setting! We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We were extremely happy with our nice week in this beautiful park. The sites are well-designed with a great deal of privacy and beautiful native vegetation. We were in Site 2, an easy pull-through with plenty of parking space. The clubhouse is very comfortable with a nice front porch with rocking chairs, particularly nice on a rainy day. The extensive DVD library supplemented the over the air TV, although we got all the basic channels. Nice clean bathrooms and laundry. The Wifi was the best I've ever had in an RV park - just like home! The price is very reasonable at $30 night for full hook-ups, although if you pay for 5 you get 2 more free, or a week for $150. The owners are wonderful, and will tell you cash only when you make your reservation, no credit cards. We made our reservation for next year already! We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Really enjoyed our stay at this peaceful RV park. Convenient to everything in the Silver City area. We were able to park our 40' motorhome in a nice pull through spot with some great shade. Spaces are nicely set apart from each other and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Lots of improvements going on and a new area has just been added. The clubhouse has lots of useful information, movies and books for sharing. Great place to meet friendly campers! Bring a hummingbird feeder and enjoy the visits from a multitude of these little birds. Our biggest surprise was how good the wifi was at the campground. We had a great time and will definitely visit again to beat the summer heat in the valley! We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Motorhome.

No pool/playground, quiet, outstanding landscape, customer service is A1. Wifi was top-notch. Great location as a base camp to visit the mountains, forests, ruins, and the art community of Silver City. We filled a week with no problem. If nothing else watch the sunsets. I usually use a 7 rating for a park that does what it says. This park gets a 10 as it does it perfectly. A second wash machine and dryer would have been nice but obviously I am reaching for a problem. It is not a resort but a wonderful RV park. We camped at Manzano's RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
