Great park set back from the road so little noise but still close to town. Great place to walk and to walk your dogs. There is a great walking path, the park is a good place to walk as is the nearby cemetery. Also, there is a shortcut to walk to the local grocery. The park was clean and quiet, I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends. The sites were level and spacious. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.Undo

We loved this park, it is very well laid out and spacious with shrubs/bushes between each site to give privacy. Our site 35 was perfect. The restrooms and laundry are high standard and very clean. The wifi is in the process of upgrading but they have 5 networks, 2 are password protected and we did not have a problem. As we are Brits and our home is England we loved that everything was recycled. We stayed here to visit the Gila Cliff Dwellings which are so worth a visit. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Throughly outstanding in much of what we look for in an RV park - widely dispersed sites, landscaping and privacy fences contribute to separation. A very quiet, open country setting (as noted before) but a Wal-Mart and chain grocery are close and convenient. Roads and sites gravel and while our site wasn't level, I was able to get that way. That, and lack of wifi are about the only things we appreciate it doesn't have. Good Verizon signal tho and don't know if its the community or the park but a good recycling station. My price does include tax, (tired & not paying attention at check-in so guessing our AARP discounted rate was around $27). We camped in a tiny FunFinder trailer & truly enjoyed our site across from the laundry/restroom facilities. Bathrooms are family style - shower, sink & toilet with combination locks, very clean & (I think) fairly new. Our sight was an easy back-in for our size; graveled, very level; rustic privacy fence; lots of juniper trees. Check-in staff was 1st rate. Location was just far enough off main Hwy 180 (4 lane) quiet, but easy access. Ranch very convenient for groceries, fuel, etc, not far from historic down town. Silver City's RV Park location signs are wonderful, blue with white letters, easy to spot, get you ready for your turns. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.
Prices in Silver City, fuel/food, are very reasonable. Wranglers Bar & Grill across the highway was a good lunch (with beer & wine). Easy availability middle of March, comfortable night in the 40's.

This is a nice park located a short distance off the main highway through Silver City and a short drive to the downtown historical district. The park employees were friendly and helpful. We had no problem navigating through the park in our motorhome with toad. The roads and sites are gravel over base. When the area received some much needed rain during our stay the dirt at the site became sticky mud making unhooking and departure rather messy. The park is situated on sloping land and it is obvious the attempt has been made to try to create level sites. But once our rig was leveled the front end was high and we had to use a small step stool to access our entry steps. The privacy fenced sitting area at the site was a nice ammenity. In spite of being located in town the park, adjacent to a cemetery, was very quiet. We made use of the centrally located recycling bins. Wifi never worked for us. We would stay here again if ever back in Silver City. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
Bullard Street downtown Silver City is fun and funky with some very good restaurants and cute shops. Trail of the Mountain Spirits Scenic Byway is a beautiful winding drive up to the Gila Cliff Dwellings Nat'l Monument. Really fun to climb around on the rocks at Rock City State Park.

We stayed in the back row, with a view of the cemetery from our back window. It was very quiet. Nice, long pull through site, with plenty of room between sites and a little fence around the picnic table to provide some privacy. Nice laundry, helpful office staff. Our site was mixed gravel and dirt, as are the park roads. We arrived after rain, and the dirt turned into a greasy mud - very unpleasant. The WiFi did not work (they're trying to fix it), but our Verizon MiFi worked well. Office closes at 3:00pm - make reservations in advance if you plan to arrive after that. This is a Good Sam and Passport America park. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Beautiful, quiet, large RV park right off of Hwy 180 in the middle of Silver City, within two blocks. Tucked back in the high desert terrain, the only neighbor is the large Memory Lane Cemetery, where several important people to Silver City's history are buried, including Billy the Kid's mother. The RV park is so quiet, there is absolutely no road noise. The skies are so dark and clear, great for stargazing. Behind the RV park is open land, great for walking dogs, and there's a trail for walking. The park prides itself in an old western them and does a great job with all the log facilities, old rusty farm equipment, and rustic decorations such as rolled up barbed wire. We saw several white-tail doe deer and a roadrunner on the grounds. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.
Be sure to see Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument, City of Rocks, and Rockhound State Park.

We have stayed here before. Nice, clean park. Highly recommended. The wireless was not too good but it worked most of the time. We will stay here again in the future. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.Undo

Best in Silver City. Sites are spacious with good distance between them. Most have wind screen / privacy screen. Friendly hosts. Clean showers and restroom. Reasonable price on laundry. Will definitely stay here the next time in Silver City. Some sites may require some leveling but nothing major. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

It is hard to over-compliment this campground. The office staff were very friendly and helpful. The sites are spacious with lots of trees between you and your neighbor. In some sites there are so many trees you cannot see your neighbor, yet the trees generally are not so tall that you worry about one falling on your camper. We had a picnic table mounted on a concrete patio and surrounded by a wooden privacy fence (site 24). Campground is very convenient for visiting Silver City and surrounding attractions. We look forward to returning to this wonderful campground. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

Large attractive and private sites in a lovely rural setting. Close to town, shops and restaurants. Trails on property were nice for walking the dog. Liked that they had a recycling area. Owners very friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.Undo

This excellent park continues to grow and improve their facilities. Convenient to the highway, the park has oiled gravel roads and level sites that are large and sheltered from the wind by trees and fences. Each site has a sense of privacy with the fences, and even though the park was full, it doesn't seem cramped. Wi-Fi would not work from our site that was at the outer edge, but Verizon cell and data were good. The trees are relatively small, so no problems with the rooftop satellite. Hookups were conveniently located and worked well. The laundry room, exercise room, and library were all spotless, and the hosts were very professional and friendly. A great place to stay, but make reservations. We'll stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.Undo

Internal roads are gravel; the sites are gravel, fairly level and are spacious; the facilities worked well and the site was satellite friendly. Staff was friendly. The park WiFi is extremely poor; T-Mobile voice service was good, data service is very poor. This park was quiet. Rate is Passport America. I would have rated it a 7 if the WiFi was better. We would stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $15.00
The rate cited is with a Passport America discount. Must stay minimum 2 nights; it works on a "second night free" basis. One of the best campgrounds we have stayed in. Easy to find, level, immaculately kept grounds, large sites. The person who checked us in was efficient, warm, and friendly. Bathrooms are combined toilet and shower - big and spotlessly clean. Wi-Fi intermittent (or it would be a 10). We would most definitely stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.Undo
