We got in after the office closed and found our packet taped to the office door. We had been placed in site 63, which we found easy enough, thanks to their packet and their site map. Site 63 is on the down slope of a hill. We spent an hour trying to get level, after we moved to site 73, which was open. There, we were able to get leveled on the first attempt. We checked in the next day, and there was no problem with our move. The interior roads are gravel, with the sites a mix of gravel and dirt. There was no problems getting everything connected. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

A nice park, probably the best in Silver City. Many sites give you the "feel" of being in a State Park and not a commercial R.V. park. Well landscaped, good roads, fixtures are all excellent and rest room facilities are cared for regularly. Friendly & helpful staff. Good central location. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This park is very dusty due to gravel interior roads and sites. Plan on getting dirty! Seems to be mostly long term residents but the sites are well kept. The sites are pretty darn long but not very level. We ended up with one front tire off the ground. There is quite a bit of room between sites. They have a small area on the side protected by a wood fence (I guess for the wind) but, oddly, there is no picnic table. The Wi-Fi was either screaming fast or not working at all. We were located right by a hotspot. Our friends right next to us couldn't even see the hotspot on any of their devices. Directv satellite worked fine. Verizon 4g 3 bars. It is fairly quiet as the park is a block or two off the main road. Our sites backed up to the Memory Lane cemetery - which is one of the most desolate looking cemeteries I've ever seen. There is not a blade of grass, and they obviously have drainage issues. We found the oddball fake flowers in our site that drifted over from the cemetery. It was a good location for visiting the Gila Cliff dwellings. We drove up 15 and returned on 35 through Mimbres. Both ways have beautiful scenery. The Gila Cliff dwellings are unusual in that you can hike right up and through most of them. Great outing! We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Absolutely outstanding! We're here for the month (thus the $13/day rate) and will definitely return. Sites are very large, easy in and out. WiFi is fair, blazing close to the poles... Bathrooms/showers are spotless as well as the laundry (4 washers & 4 dryers). The park is extremely well maintained with foliage between sites and all around, not so much as to get in your way driving... Each site has it's own patio area with a rustic fence surrounding it. The "motif" is western. The park has a great deal of property & trails, great for walking the dogs. We've camped all over the country (we full-time) and this is one of the best! The park is close to town and walking distance to the grocery store! We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for 5 days in a pull through site. The sites are VERY spacious with a wood fence and/or line of bushes separating sites. It is located almost in town, but you would not know it as the feeling is quite rural. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We stayed in this park for 4 nights. Check in was great and accommodating. Our first site was not level and my front tires were off the ground. No problem, we were moved to another site that was closer to level. The sites have foliage and 2 to 3 sided closed off areas for your patio which is a nice separation from your neighbor. There is a great area to the south end of the park where you can walk the dogs out in open areas. There is no road noise. Restrooms were clean, individual rooms with sink, toilet and shower. We did get 2 nights passport America and 2 nights AAA discount. The WiFi was slow, we used our Verizon Hot Spot. This is the nicest park in Silver City. We will be back. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

As others have mentioned, about the only issue I had with this park was the lack of a level site. This was my first visit. After calling ahead I arrived after the office was closed and pick up my site assignment. It had quite a down slope, and only after maneuvering my coach into about 4 different positions in the site was I able to circumvent the "excessive slope" warning on my leveling system. Once set up, however, I had a very pleasant 5-night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending sights in the area to visit. Although very convenient to town, the park was very quiet and seemed more like it was out in the country. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at since leaving Florida. When checking-in, we were given a ton of information about not only the park, but the surrounding area attractions and available services, like the closest car wash. The sites are very spacious with three walls around the patio that really help to block the view from the next site. Our site was a little un-level, but we were able to level the rig without having to use any blocking. The roads are gravel, but well maintained and plenty wide for turns with a tow vehicle. The bathrooms and showers were updated and very clean and tidy. There is a min and max required stay with PA but they then allowed us to use GS for the third night stay. I would stay here again for sure. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Stop at the Visitor Center to get all the info on the Silver City Historic Downtown area. The Gila Cliff Dwellers National Monument is at the end of a beautiful scenic drive. Take the loop road back to Silver City and get a great view of the nearby open pit copper mine.

The rate is for 2 nights Passport and one night AAA, averaged. Large private spaces, friendly employees, individual bathrooms just like home, nice laundry and just enough western "feel" to make this an almost perfect campground. The pile of city tax and chilly weather can not be blamed on the park. Hope to be able to enjoy a longer stay next trip. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We were staying two days and decided to stay for the week. We loved this park. Many people living here, but their sites are clean, and they are very polite and friendly. Laundry was excellent, 3 washers (1 broke), 4 dryers. $1.25 and $1.00. Restrooms are clean, they are individual rooms with locks and are showers as well. Most of the spots near laundry/restroom are where the people living there are. So most of the spots, if you are not near this area, no WIFI. We were in a backin on the back row. No WiFi. Great walking path behind to walk dogs. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Wal-Mart just up the road. Also an Albertsons, Ace Hardware, Walgreens, CVS, Shoe Connection, Bealls. etc. etc. Downtown was good if you like art. The park the town boasts about where the flood was. I would not recommend it alone, or at night. Lots of vagrants, some sleeping on the benches with their drinks nearby. Too many homeless people downtown and lurking around.

Biggest issue here was the lack of level sites. Most are on the side of gentle hill that made leveling an issue. Once I got moved to a bottom site, things were OK. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Excellent park. Rate included discount and taxes. Spacious sites with private area for table and chairs. The best part of the park for us was the huge area behind the park to run our hunting dog. Our site wasn't the most level but we were able to level the rig. Other sites looked good. The blue and white signs along US180 heading west were helpful in knowing where to turn to the park. AT&T cell service was poor in the area. Park's Wi-fi was good early in the morning. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

This is one of the nicest park we've stayed in this year. Sites are spacious and buffered by low trees and wooden privacy dividers, lots of room and privacy at each site. Restrooms/laundry are modern and clean. Gravel roads and pads that are level. Wi-fi signal is strong. Even though this park is close to town it is very quite with Wal-Mart and Safeway is nearby. The dog walk was great. there is a good walking trail beyond the ranch about 2 miles one way. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
