This park had somewhat level sites, on the back side there is a drop off so somewhat difficult to use your stabilizers. The hook ups were centrally located. The wifi and antenna worked just fine. The rest room was very clean and the shower had plenty of hot, hot water. One neat thing is they gave us a simple handout that was very useful explaining directions to hospital, urgent care, fuel, tire repair, rv repair, rv parts, LP, shopping, etc--it was very accurate and simple to use. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed four nights at this park while visiting the Silver City/Gila Cliff Dwellings area. Overall, the park is good. Our pull through site was spacious with enough room to park the tow vehicle in front or in back of our rig. Each site has a fenced sitting area giving you some privacy. The entire park is well kept; however, large shrubbery at the end of our site needed either removed or trimmed back. We couldn't make a right turn to vacate our site, and there was a very large rock on the opposite side, causing us to make a very wide left turn. Luckily, no cars were parked at the site opposite us. Our only real complaint about this park is the dust. All roads are gravel and are very, VERY dusty. First time we've had a view of a cemetery out our back window, but at least it was peaceful. Given the choices in the area, we would most likely stay here again when visiting Silver City. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is very dusty due to gravel interior roads and sites. Plan on getting dirty! Seems to be mostly long term residents but the sites are well kept. The sites are pretty darn long but not very level. We ended up with one front tire off the ground. There is quite a bit of room between sites. They have a small area on the side protected by a wood fence (I guess for the wind) but, oddly, there is no picnic table. The Wi-Fi was either screaming fast or not working at all. We were located right by a hotspot. Our friends right next to us couldn't even see the hotspot on any of their devices. Directv satellite worked fine. Verizon 4g 3 bars. It is fairly quiet as the park is a block or two off the main road. Our sites backed up to the Memory Lane cemetery - which is one of the most desolate looking cemeteries I've ever seen. There is not a blade of grass, and they obviously have drainage issues. We found the oddball fake flowers in our site that drifted over from the cemetery. It was a good location for visiting the Gila Cliff dwellings. We drove up 15 and returned on 35 through Mimbres. Both ways have beautiful scenery. The Gila Cliff dwellings are unusual in that you can hike right up and through most of them. Great outing! We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Absolutely outstanding! We're here for the month (thus the $13/day rate) and will definitely return. Sites are very large, easy in and out. WiFi is fair, blazing close to the poles... Bathrooms/showers are spotless as well as the laundry (4 washers & 4 dryers). The park is extremely well maintained with foliage between sites and all around, not so much as to get in your way driving... Each site has it's own patio area with a rustic fence surrounding it. The "motif" is western. The park has a great deal of property & trails, great for walking the dogs. We've camped all over the country (we full-time) and this is one of the best! The park is close to town and walking distance to the grocery store! We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

The owner is friendly and helpful. Nice clean park with gravel roads and sites. Some have tables. Most have privacy fencing. We drove by other parks in town and this is the best. The showers were covered in soap scum. Whom ever cleans them may think that won't come off. Because every where else was so clean. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed at this park several times, never longer than a week. They seem to be going to mostly full time residents now. We were pushed into a "pull through" site, even though I specifically asked for a back-in. I was told that all the back in sites are being held for full time residents. Site 68 is not a "pull through" site for a bigger trailer. With our 32' fifth wheel I had to back out of it because of trees on the front side. We were charged extra for a "pull through" site I didn't want and then had to back out anyway because there was no room to turn the trailer on the front end. Some of the full timers are friendly enough, but others are not friendly at all. I think the park is managed by volunteer residents who may get a break on their rent for volunteering at the office. We may try the KOA next time after being unnecessarily pushed into a more expensive pull through site we didn't want. It wasn't the money, but more being made to feel like a second class citizen just because we aren't "full timers". We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Having never been to Silver City, NM, we decided to stay at Rose Valley RV Park for a few nights. The park is on the older side with gravel roads and very nice spaces. We arrived after hours and a note was taped to the office door with our name and assigned site. Our site was very spacious and had an enclosed area on the correct side. We had no table or fire ring. We had a large ant hill under our rig and when I brought it to the attention of the office, the park manager was tending to it before I could get back to the RV. The park is very quiet with several "live ins" throughout the park. Just so you know, the neighbor of this park is the local cemetery. We were parked away from the cemetery and it really wasn't an issue. Not much to do in Silver City but this is a very nice park to get is some serious relaxing! We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

We went to "Historic" downtown Silver City and were not impressed. The marketing person for Silver City is a genius...made it sound a lot better than it was. The bowling alley is very close to the park. I bowled a couple of games and the management was very friendly and nice.

A very nice, clean and quiet RV park. Like a good state park with all the amenities. Except the wifi at our site (35) was inconsistent. Our site was very long, level (gravel) and private. The location was close to the historic district. We really like this RV park. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Absolutely awful WiFi!! Ten years ago I reviewed this place. At that time it was clean and well-managed but the WiFi was worthless. A decade later in the middle of the second decade of the 21st century I can report the park is still clean and well-managed (but more permanent residents). Sadly, I must also report that the WiFi is still so bad that you can't even connect to pick up email when you are parked less than 50' from the antenna. Really! In 2016 in an urban setting (as urban as Silver City can be) these folks won't invest in the equipment required to deliver reasonable Internet access. If you are still living in the 1990's and happy with dial-up Internet access, this is the place for you. If you exist in the contemporary world and expect modern conveniences, skip this place. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Tent Trailer.

We stayed in this park for 4 nights. Check in was great and accommodating. Our first site was not level and my front tires were off the ground. No problem, we were moved to another site that was closer to level. The sites have foliage and 2 to 3 sided closed off areas for your patio which is a nice separation from your neighbor. There is a great area to the south end of the park where you can walk the dogs out in open areas. There is no road noise. Restrooms were clean, individual rooms with sink, toilet and shower. We did get 2 nights passport America and 2 nights AAA discount. The WiFi was slow, we used our Verizon Hot Spot. This is the nicest park in Silver City. We will be back. As others have mentioned, about the only issue I had with this park was the lack of a level site. This was my first visit. After calling ahead I arrived after the office was closed and pick up my site assignment. It had quite a down slope, and only after maneuvering my coach into about 4 different positions in the site was I able to circumvent the "excessive slope" warning on my leveling system. Once set up, however, I had a very pleasant 5-night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful in recommending sights in the area to visit. Although very convenient to town, the park was very quiet and seemed more like it was out in the country. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Loved this park. Well taken care of. People very friendly & gave lots of info. Restrooms clean, private & modern. Site shaded with rustic wood enclosed patio. Private. Quiet. Was bit unlevel but not major problem. Close to Walmart/Albertsons. Were only going to spend 1 night but spent 2. Will go back. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

This is one of the nicest parks we have stayed at since leaving Florida. When checking-in, we were given a ton of information about not only the park, but the surrounding area attractions and available services, like the closest car wash. The sites are very spacious with three walls around the patio that really help to block the view from the next site. Our site was a little un-level, but we were able to level the rig without having to use any blocking. The roads are gravel, but well maintained and plenty wide for turns with a tow vehicle. The bathrooms and showers were updated and very clean and tidy. There is a min and max required stay with PA but they then allowed us to use GS for the third night stay. I would stay here again for sure. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Stop at the Visitor Center to get all the info on the Silver City Historic Downtown area. The Gila Cliff Dwellers National Monument is at the end of a beautiful scenic drive. Take the loop road back to Silver City and get a great view of the nearby open pit copper mine.
