Biggest issue here was the lack of level sites. Most are on the side of gentle hill that made leveling an issue. Once I got moved to a bottom site, things were OK. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Very nice park; clean with helpful staff. Sites were very private as reported by previous reviewers. Conveniently located close to gas, groceries and Walmart. Short drive to historic downtown. Water, electric, and sewer were easy to use. Only complaint is the wifi. On the rare occasion that I could connect, the speed was so slow that it was unusable for even email. Office staff said a new system was hooked up yesterday and was supposed to be an improvement. If you can't provide a usable service - give up and reduce the price to reflect the lack of service. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park located a short distance off the main highway through Silver City and a short drive to the downtown historical district. The park employees were friendly and helpful. We had no problem navigating through the park in our motorhome with toad. The roads and sites are gravel over base. When the area received some much needed rain during our stay the dirt at the site became sticky mud making unhooking and departure rather messy. The park is situated on sloping land and it is obvious the attempt has been made to try to create level sites. But once our rig was leveled the front end was high and we had to use a small step stool to access our entry steps. The privacy fenced sitting area at the site was a nice ammenity. In spite of being located in town the park, adjacent to a cemetery, was very quiet. We made use of the centrally located recycling bins. Wifi never worked for us. We would stay here again if ever back in Silver City. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Bullard Street downtown Silver City is fun and funky with some very good restaurants and cute shops. Trail of the Mountain Spirits Scenic Byway is a beautiful winding drive up to the Gila Cliff Dwellings Nat'l Monument. Really fun to climb around on the rocks at Rock City State Park.

We stayed in the back row, with a view of the cemetery from our back window. It was very quiet. Nice, long pull through site, with plenty of room between sites and a little fence around the picnic table to provide some privacy. Nice laundry, helpful office staff. Our site was mixed gravel and dirt, as are the park roads. We arrived after rain, and the dirt turned into a greasy mud - very unpleasant. The WiFi did not work (they're trying to fix it), but our Verizon MiFi worked well. Office closes at 3:00pm - make reservations in advance if you plan to arrive after that. This is a Good Sam and Passport America park. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very quiet park (next to a cemetery) with lots of shrubs and fences separating the large sites. Ours was a pull-through with dead-level gravel. There's a sizable area behind the last row of sites which makes a great place to walk dogs. Laundry room was clean and tidy with large capacity washers and driers. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

While this park is not within walking distance of central Silver City, it makes up for it by being quiet, and nicely laid out with generous size spaces, some suitable for 45 foot coaches. The sites are inserted into pre-existing natural vegetation that provides varying amounts of privacy and in some cases even some shade. Roads and pads are gravel. Electric, water, sewer, and Wi-Fi worked well. They have a realistic dog policy - just pick up after walking them anywhere in the park, and no limit on number. The longer term residents are located chiefly in one area of the park. The price shown is the daily rate includes tax. We will stay here on our next visit to Silver City. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We stayed here despite the other reviews saying that the internet was slow. It was WAY slow. The person who checked us in was not very friendly. Lots of full timers. Just not a great feel at all. Did the laundry and was nervous about staying in there by myself. Would not stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Very nice park. I really liked the fenced in patio at our site. Nice and private. Office staff very friendly. Only downfall is their Wi-Fi. The staff said it was slow but it was so slow that you often could not even get your e-mail due to the system timing out. So, if you really need Wi-Fi, don't stay here unless you have your own internet access. We would stay again for a very limited time only because of Wi-Fi. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Rate posted was (four nights) with PA & GS. Nice quiet park next to a cemetary up on a hill, so we had cooler temps and mild winds. The laundry is nice but hot, and bathrooms are 4 unisex with toilet, sink and shower large and clean. Sites are gravel and level with little privacy fences, which are very nice. We would stay here again. The fire is not a problem anywhere near Silver City. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We asked for a pull through and on arrival (office closed) we found our site taped on the office door. We got site 53, which is backup. Next morning the very friendly host explained they mixed up 35 (pull through) and 53; he offered to change sites, but we rejected his offer. He helped us out with wi-fi on our notebook. The campground has nothing to offer. No shop, no restaurant, no swimming pool or decent playground. Lots of friendly permanent residents. Beautiful plants and grassy areas. Excellent bathrooms and laundry. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

We enjoyed our stay here. Sites are widely spaced with shrubbery, semi-private. Our site required one leveling block. Interior roads are gravel and easy to get around. There are 4 separate bathroom/shower rooms, nice and spacious. The laundry room has 4 washers and dryers, I didn't use them. Everything was clean and well maintained. Their Wi-Fi did not work the 2 nights we were here. Our Verizon air-card worked well. Park is quiet, & just a few blocks off Hwy 180. There is a super Wal-Mart just up the street, and Historic Silver City is just a few miles away. I thought the rate was reasonable for what they offer, and it reflects a Good Sam discount. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

I liked the ranch atmosphere, good base camp for visiting Gila Cliff Dwellings. No cable, got a few TV channels. WI-FI did not work well at all, could never get it on the computer in the two days we were there. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice park. Private sites that are fairly level - gravel pads. The park is very quiet. Wi-Fi has a mind of it's own with intermittent service, however, we thoroughly enjoyed staying here. We would stay again. While here you must visit the Gila Cliff Dwellings. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Excellent location close in to Silver City yet located on a dead end street next to a substantial cemetery. Very quiet place. The sites were divided off with either shrubbery or fencing material, which made for some nice privacy, otherwise wide open to the beautiful sky and the rolling hills beyond. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground has wide roads and ample, gravel sites. We had no trouble getting in or out from the interstate. There are many things to do and see while using this as a base. Silver City itself was a nice surprise, with charming houses and some excellent restaurants. The staff is friendly and the facilities are very clean. There are no canopies or picnic tables. The park is quiet and located next door to a cemetery, which was a fine place for me to spend an entire morning walking, reading and photographing. No organized activities to speak of, but we were not here for a long period. We camped at Rose Valley RV Ranch in a Motorhome.
