Convenient park just South of Downtown Taos. Site was level with great cell and Satellite coverage. We stayed in a pull through site near the entrance. Pretty close to the neighbors, but the Mountain View's were very cool. Site had propane for sale and we were also able to ride our bikes ~2.5 miles to the town center for a nice dinner. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

We stayed in a travel trailer (parking length 29') and tow vehicle, which fit easily into the spacious sites. There is nice vegetation separating parking slots, a few trees, and good facilities. This is one of the best rv parks we've stayed in. We're essentially full-timers. It's clean, the staff is attentive and helpful, and it's always clean and neat. What more could you ask for? We did stay on weekly and monthly terms. The park has eliminated monthly rentals on it's non-metered slots, and they don't necessarily tell you about the lower monthly rates that are available. Ask lots of questions to get the lower rates. We notice most campers are staying 1 - 3 nites this year, whereas previously the park was full and many were staying a month or more. This is a great park. It's well gravelled with heavy 2" stone. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The Taos Visitor Center (one traffic light to the North, on Paseo del Pueblo) is a great place to shop for gifts and to get information, maps, and so on from the incredibly helpful staff. It's on the corner of Canon and Paseo del Pueblo.

The park itself is nice but the showers and the WiFi are not. I never expect great WiFi in an RV park, but I do expect better from the showers. The floor was dirty and they had a little stool to put your stuff on that was SHARED between 2 showers! That thing was so small you could barely fit anything on it! We bought propane and it was $2.64 a gallon plus tax so 5 gallons was almost $15. The dog run here is in the desert and there were cactus low to the ground that dogs could easily step on so NO ONE walked their dogs there - and there's a lot of dogs here! We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

The site had two concrete strips for your tires and it was fairly level. Trees and shrubs on either side of us but the trees are small so not much shade but we had plenty of space to put out our awning and lay down our patio pad. The bathrooms are clean and nice and have a security code, which I like A LOT. Easy access to many interesting things around Taos. I would stay here again. Oh my God, so much to see! The Taos Pueblo, Hacienda de los Martinez, and the Enchanted Circle (Viet Nam Veterans Memorial) are nearly a must. Allow a few days to see just these things. There are so many fabulous restaurants. Recommend a tiny place called La Cueva for lunch, it is so small you can't find a place to park but it is interesting and cozy and a nice place with umbrella tables in the back. A hole-in-the-wall surprise.

The sites are pretty tight. Took some work to get our trailer in the site, and there was almost no room to park your tow vehicle. We were lucky in that our site was a larger one. Some were much smaller yet. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Go to Wild Rivers, just north of Questa. About 30 minutes from the campground. The circle tour (about 2 -3 hours) is worth the journey.

Clean and quiet on the outskirts of town. The managers are friendly and helpful and pretty laid back. The sites are close together as in any other privately-owned RV park but there is some nice high desert vegetation between sites and it is Taos so everyone is pretty chill. It is our go-to place when visiting Taos. Note there is a 10% Discount off Daily Rates for AAA, AARP, Military, FQCC, Good Sam, Full Time Student. The park is just outside of town center. Two good Mexican restaurants within 1 block. Safe, quiet and accessible. The WIFI was weak but it depends where you are in the park. I had to go to the clubhouse to use the internet. Sprint is dead there. Good TV. No discount affiliates. It met the basic needs and would be recommended for a few days. I would go back. We booked our site at the last minute. We were happy to get in, but we did not get fhu. The site was tight to pull into, we did scratch RV on the trees. If we would have gotten fhu, those sites were easier to get into with nice concrete padding for the tires. We were lucky a staff member was driving around and helped us find and our site. It was a little confusing. We thought the park was so pretty, not just a parking lot. Wifi did not work for us, verizon signal good. We used the showers and they were very clean. A little bench would have been nice to put my bag on. Good area to walk the dog around. There was a picnic table but we didn't use it because it wasn't that easy to get to. Again, our spot (#42) was not for a big rig with 3 slides. Most other sites seemed easier for using the picnic table. Some of the trees were a bit too large for a big rig to get around. Despite all this, we would stay again, but would hope to get a much better site. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Sites have FHUs and this site is tree shaded. Was able to get good satellite reception. Campground is close to town and generally good cell service except T-Mobile was weak. Nice spacing between sites. A good number of sites have a hut over the picnic table. Laundry has good machines and was clean. WiFi is good. We stayed for five days. Very nice campground close to downtown Taos. Pull through sites alternate direction like buddy sites but there is enough space, small trees and shrubs to make the spacing comfortable. Most sites are reasonably level but we did have to stay in the back of our site, disconnect the car, and run the right front tire up on pads so the levelers wouldn't lift it off the ground. We were fortunate to have an end site with a beautiful view of the horizon. Hookups were easily accessible. There is no cable TV. WiFi worked well even though the campground was fairly full. Verizon signal was good. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Rate is for a month and thus a very good price. We usually stay at another very nice park, but didn't want to be up on the Mesa for a month with all the wind, so took a chance on this park without seeing it. It is a very nice park, somewhat rustic being an ex KOA but we like it. Sites are spacious and offers some shade. Site surface is gravel and features a picnic table. We will definitely stay here again. We have a large site. The park is very quiet and the location is great. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Easy accessibility to downtown. Sites were flat, reasonably large and accommodated our 43' rig and toad. No problem maneuvering to sites. Park was very clean, well lighted, with clean grill and table with lights. Water pressure was somewhat low. Nicely landscaped and visually attractive. Very good wi-fi. Reception staff was attentive and knowledgeable about restaurants popular with locals. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

I would have given it a higher rating, but they charge a "user fee" to use a credit card, for the week, we were charged $8.75. We were not told this as we were checking in, however, it is written at the bottom of the invoice. My error! Other than that, this is a great park! Location, location, location. We were lucky enough to get a spot in the "back" where there was a lot of privacy and since there weren't a lot of other campers we didn't have anyone next to us. Our site was fairly level, gravel, and we had a patio and picnic table. They have great WiFi and Verizon worked well. The location is within a few minutes of historic Santa Fe. Bathrooms were very clean, the dressing rooms were a little tight, but adequate. Laundry room was clean; there are 4 washers and 3 dryers, $1.50 for each. We were lucky that we woke up to about 4 inches snow one morning. The park had a magically quality to it. By noon, the snow was gone. We would definitely stay at the park again, but maybe pay cash. We camped at Taos Valley RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

A must eat restaurant is on the corner of highway 68 and Este Es Road, Casa De Valdez. Further up highway 68 is Hunan Chinese. We ate at Gorge Bar and Grill in town, the Angus burger was great. Must see the Earthship House in El Pradao, NM, which is only about 20 miles from the campground and on the way is the the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge. We also took the Enchanted Highway and stopped at the Vietnam Veteran's Memorial.
