We have stayed at this park many times and loved it due to the cheap rates. They have never offered much more than 20 or so cable channels and wi-fi. The past two times weve stayed here, they have raised their rates. They are charging resort rates for a gravel lot. We will have to look elsewhere. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tucumcari is a cute dying town. We've been coming here for years. Watson's bbq is awesome and we like Ladies Mexican food. Both are local joints with great people.

This park is a parking lot full of sand and not much else. Sites are not laid out well and some have trees that block slides on motorhomes. The best I can say is that it is easy on/off the interstate. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

This was our 3rd stay at this park. Great overnight stop. Close to I-10 easy in and out, Flying J and Loves very close to park. Basic park all gravel roads and sites. Cable worked great. Check in was easy and fast all pull-thru sites. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

We pulled into this park with friends in a motorhome. They had to unhook because the site was too short for their tow vehicle. There was no one at the office when we got there, so we just chose our own site. I would have been willing to pay $20 or even $25, but when the owners got back & we went up to the office to pay, we were shocked at the price. If we would have been by ourselves, we would have hooked back up & gone to one of the other parks in town - where we had stayed before. Plus, once we were parked, we realized our site was surrounded with dog poop, pieces of fencing, & other kinds of debris which we had to clean up. I would not recommend this park to anyone & we will never stay here again. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Tucumcari is a cute little town which used to be on Route 66. There are several things from that time including a museum, a few neon lights & 2 diners. There are also many beautiful murals around town to see - you can get a map which tells where they are & a little bit about them from the Visitors Center. I would recommend visiting this little town.

A barebones parking lot, not too level. I have stayed here several times and liked the easy on, easy off of I 40 and nearby gas stations. $43.00 is way overpriced for a no-frills RV park. I won't be back. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here one night as we passed through, convenient to I-40. The park gets pretty muddy when it rains, which it did just after we got set up. Very good cable tv with lots of choices, also Wi-Fi was good. Laundry was reasonable at $1.00 wash/dry, but half the dryers were OOS. Not a destination site, but hookups worked well, we would stay here again should we pass through. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Good for an overnight stop. Convenient. Easy on and off I-40. Quiet. All pull-thru gravel sites, so it was muddy when we arrived in a downpour! Friendly staff. Close to fuel. Nothing to write home about, but we will stay again when traveling I-40. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is definitely the best RV park in Tucumcari. Great cable, good Wi-Fi that is available at your site 24/7, very nice laundry facility, nice restrooms that are cleaned every morning, nice helpful staff. The park is dirt and is on a slope so leveling is a bit tricky but it's quiet at night, despite being fairly close to I-40. We've stayed in other parks in Tucumcari and this is by far the best! We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

Laundry clean and of the cheapest anywhere. Site nearly level, took only a one inch board. Office friendly, they have some basic supplies and ice. Not much shade unless you happen to get the right spot. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Have stayed at this park several times - no frills, but well-located and well-maintained. Bonus for horse owners is that they have a portable corral you can use! Pretty surroundings on two sides, which is hard to find right along an interstate highway sometimes. One drawback is where they insist on placing your picnic table - very close to your neighbor's sewer hookup. Not too pleasant

Will continue to stop here whenever it fits our drive from Oklahoma to California and back. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.

This park is easy on and off of I-40. The sites are very unlevel and gravel. Also we had to move to another site because our surge protector would not allow us to hook up to the pedestal; low voltage. The staff is friendly. It is an older park and sites are not long and are tight. We couldn't park the truck in front or back. We would not stay here again. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

We have stayed here only one night on our way West on I-40. The park is easily accessible from the highway and far enough away that there is no road noise. Flying J and Love's truck stops are just off of the freeway exit. The interior roads are all gravel and the sites are gravel also. Our site was not level and we had to use several leveling blocks to level the rig. The restrooms and showers are very clean. The showers are large with plenty of changing room. The sites are close together. We have our own Wi-Fi hot spot, so didn't use the parks. There is Wi-Fi available. The cable TV channel selection is extensive. We only stayed one night, so can't comment on any of the local attractions. We would stay here again. We camped at Mountain Road RV Park in a Motorhome.
