2 RV Parks near Vaughn, New Mexico
Aug 2018 - $25.00
This park is a gem in the middle of miles and miles of road. We stayed at the park behind the Catholic Church in a 35' fifth wheel for 2 nights, I think there is another one farther west on 285. 50 amp, water, sewer and very strong and reliable WiFi. 9 sites with 4 being pull thrus. $25/ nt including tax. Pay with cash or check, there's a slot and envelope for this. We recommend this park and would stay again. - Daddycougar

Pay at the Western motel but don't know how well that will work as motel is now closed. No credit cards. Campsites are about two blocks west of the motel behind the city park. Pull through sites on the grass. There was another campground east of the motel which I think is run by the same people but it was full. Also a third campground to the east which also says Western motel but owner at the motel said that was not hers. Ok place to camp when just passing through. - fander

We stayed at Vaughn RV Park in a travel trailer. The sites are very wide and long with more than enough room for slide outs. We had a full hookup with easy access to water, electricity and sewer. The park is right off U.S. Hwy 60 and has a good setback so that road noise is minimal. The sites are mostly grass and are level. We use Verizon for internet service and were pleased with the excellent reception. When first arriving at the park there is a sign that instructs you to find a space and then pay your bill at the motel. After hooking up, I was greeted by a very personable lady at the office, which is located across the street and down about 2 blocks at the Western Motel. I look forward to staying at Vaughn RV Park the next time I travel through this area. - Greg Swisher

It is good for a night stop , no showers or restrooms available. The sites have full hookups and no more. We were alone in the C.G, a motel attached to the C.G handles the payments and acts as an office. - summerdude

No one around; self pay and the rate cited is with a Good Sam discount. Tight entries and had to pull out and in a side entrance to get to one of three pull-through sites. Sign out front said Wi-Fi and could see the access point on my computer but it didn't work; got another site close by to work instead. Only one very fuzzy over the air TV channel; some train noise. Only OK for overnight stay. Site somewhat unlevel. - dirtfan1946

No management present even though sign on door said 'back at 6:00'. Dirt and gravel sites were very uneven. Train noise was extremely annoying as trains passed close by all night long at a rate of several per hour with horns blasting. We got no sleep at all. Will never return. - mizzougypsies
