Overall Rating:

This campground is basically a converted parking lot. All 16 sites have 50/30/20 amp service. The electricity was excellent hovering around 125 volts. There are no picnic tables, fire rings nor Wi-Fi. Verizon air card and cell phone reception was good. All of the sites are unleveled. Water and a dump station are located on the east side of the campground (near the fire department). First come, first serve; no reservations taken. There is a self-pay machine near the small dog run enabling you to pay the nightly fee of $20. Only credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, and Discover) are accepted - no cash. The self-pay machine takes payment for one night at a time; multiple night stays will need to pay each day. The official policy is that you can only stay for two weeks per month. Since there is no host we noticed that many of the people were abusing this policy. To make it even worse, most people were not paying the daily fee. There is a visitor center next to the campground and a shuttle to Bandelier National Monument. You can only drive into Bandelier before 9 AM and after 3 PM. Bathrooms are available within the visitor center during business hours. There is a new housing development near the campground that created a lot of noise. However, work stopped around 3 PM. It was pretty quiet at night. We would come back to this campground if we were in the area. We have a 30 foot 5th wheel. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Another great park for our trip. We used a pull thru for convenience. It was just the right size, good situation for elec sewer water. We liked this property and will return. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Basically this is a parking lot behind the city's visitor center, with electric hook ups & dump site. But -- the location is great for visiting Bandelier (v near the site of the shuttle bus pick up) and Valle Caldera and Los Alamos. About 80% filled (est) but we saw only a few people out & about. Visitor center was helpful, and Bandelier & Valle Caldera were great. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is about the best RV park to stay in for both Los Alamos and Bandelier National Monument. Yes, it's just a parking lot, but the sites are large and the facilities clean. There's a dog run so your pets can go off leash and play. It's easy to self pay. There is WiFi available and it works very well. The nights are quiet, so there isn't a problem sleeping. If you're going to Bandelier, the shuttle service is awesome and runs on time. Los Alamos is near by, too, so you can easily see the museums, etc. there. We stayed here twice in September and will do so again if we return to Los Alamos/Bandelier. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

There is a 14 day maximum stay. No attendant. First come first serve.
This is a large asphalt parking lot with 30/50 amp service. Standalone fresh water/ dump station. No site is level, but we did not have any problem leveling our motorhome. Bandelier National Monument requires you ride the shuttle and it stops at the RV park. There is a Smith's grocery within walking distance and Bradbury museum in Los Alamos is cool with regular activities going on. Our Verizon hotspot gave us 5 bars of 4G, and we were able to pick up all major TV networks from Albuquerque with our over-the-air antenna. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Motorhome.

There were few other campers at this lot behind the Visitor's Center. You pay at an automated kiosk, which was a little confusing. The price was right for electric only. You can fill up with clean water and there is a dump site. It has no charm but is good for a night. No tables or fire rings. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a county owned park behind the visitor center that offers all pull-through spaces. It has 50 amp power and free Internet but no other hookups. There is a dump station and shared water hookup in the park. Restrooms are clean and free shuttle buses are offered from the park to the national monument. Fees are paid at a vending machine that accepts credit and debit cards only. There is a very small pet area. A major supermarket is across the street and a propane filling station at the Mobil a block away. This is a good stopover for those wanting to visit Bandelier but needing an electric site, as none are available at the monument. We camped at White Rock RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
