We are really impressed with this resort and using a half-price special, it was well worth the value. We had a FHU site on the open grass with plenty of space around us. The WIFI was one of the best we have used and the cable TV had numerous stations (both analog and digital). Very easy to drive our 36 ft fifth wheel to/from and in the park. There are plenty of activities for kids and would have preferred they had some more adult activities. The adult pool was closed as the weather was only in the low 70s while we were there. However, on the weekend the kids splash pull was in full operation. There are a couple of trails within the park where you can walk your dog as well as a very nice dog park. Our only real complaint is that the staff did not enforce the rules when the weekend crowd arrived. Loud people around campfires till 2am and dogs not on leash. We even saw one site where they did not even attempt to put out their campfire when they pulled out on Sunday afternoon (where we are from that is a definite no-no). We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This park is one of the very best I have ever been to! The sites were level, the staff top notch, the amenities among the best available. If ever I am in this area of the Finger Lakes area of New York I will go out of my way to stay here. And oh, by the way, my two fur babies and their sister really enjoyed the dog park! We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Nearby was the Glenn H. Curtiss Museum. Farther away was the Corning Museum of Glass. There were so many places to go, things to do and see. All were were convenient distances away. The Fingr Lakes area of New York is a wonderful place to visit.

This is a very nice and well maintained park. The is lots of open space and things for kids to do. Our site was all grass, a bit too close, and it took a little work to level the coach. The park has a very large, clean dog park. I gave the park an extra point for the dog park and because they recycle.

This was a one night stop over. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We stopped here for one night. They have nice, very long pull-thrus with full hookups. That was perfect as we didn't have to unhook from our travel trailer. They have different types of very long pull-thrus. They gave us one of the regular ones. I wish they offered us one of the big rig sites as those are a little larger and seemed altogether better sites. I think $55 was way too much for what we got. Maybe for families that will use the pools and participate in the activities, it would be worth it, but I doubt it. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.

The park is very nice and clean, we loved the dog park. The price is high but included all activities (ie. Mini golf, pedal carts, laser tag, disc golf, jumping pillow, splash pool). Our only complaint was that since we were camping in mid June through the week and most local schools are not on summer break yet, many of the included activities were not open or had shorter hours during the weekdays. Also, due to the timing, the children's pool closed at 5pm on the weekdays which seemed kind of early. We thought the nightly rate was high but reasonable if it included the extra activities. However, since many of the extra activities were not available, it would have been nice if they had adjusted the rate for those weekdays. I'm sure this park is great fun during high season, we probably just hit it at the wrong time. Although, on the bright side, since many sites were empty, we had a nice peaceful stay.
One other recommendation is that they trim the low branches of their trees, we scraped the roof of our motor home on our way out of the park. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We checked in here after leaving another campground nearby that we couldn't fit into. This place is very friendly, and helpful. Sites are ample size with modern electric, water, cable, and sewer hookups. The camp store is stocked with everything you need. Restrooms are clean. And the whole ground are well kept. We were here in mid October and all sites were half price. I would definitely come back to Hickory Hill campground. Being here late in the year all summertime facilities were closed. Of the three pools, we only visited the kids pool in the front with the spray ground. The kids loved it but the internet and pamphlets state the pools are open until 8pm. They closed it at 7pm! If we had known in advance, we would have arranged our schedule so the kids had more than 5 minutes to swim. The water was extremely dirty and cloudy all weekend. Kids enjoyed the full basketball court, dogs enjoyed the dog park, nice playgrounds, too! Great crafts and activities over the weekend. I loved they had 80 lbs and under/over times for the bounce pillow (bring socks!) We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

We had a bit of an issue when assigned our site. They corrected it easily as this was a weekday, and camp was quite open. It could have been an issue on a weekend. We had excellent hook ups that worked well, and we had a site with satellite coverage. Verizon worked well also. Only issue we saw was that the interior roads are a bit narrow. Site leveling was easy. We would stay here again. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground in rolling NY hills. Plenty of stuff for kids to do including 2 heated pools, mini golf, pedal carts, etc. Sites were well laid out with plenty of space. Big rig sites on both grass or gravel. Yes, roads were a little muddy from heavy rain as previous poster noted, but it was mud over gravel so no real issue traversing. I had no issues getting my 40' 5W in and out. Strong Verizon and ATT signals. Only thing I didn't like is they require everyone to wear an armband. Price shown is before GS discount. If they were $10 cheaper, I'd give them a 10. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

There is virtually no gravel, so most all the roads are mud as it rained the entire time we were here. There are also massive tree issues. The road we were told to take was impassable in a big rig. At least 10 trees would have been in our way. The staff was of no help. There are also lots of park models and fulltime residents. The location is nice, and they have two pools, playground, dog friendly, etc. I just would not call this a resort and it is way over priced, in our opinion. Don't think we would be back. Hickory Hill is a large campground near the small community of Bath, NY. It is in a quiet location, but is relatively easy to access from I-86. Our campsite was in a large open area near the top of the campground and provided easy satellite TV access. It was still the off season, so the campground was quiet. Our site was level with the only negative being a lack of WiFi. The location is near enough to provide access to the Finger Lakes. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Motorhome.

This is an ok campground, but not one that we would enjoy as a destination, as so many campers here seemed to be doing. The campground is big and pretty busy with very little privacy. The internet signal was strong and there were plenty of cable channels. The area is very nice to visit and would be worth visiting the area again. For this reason we would stay here again if the opportunity arises. We camped at Hickory Hill Family Camping Resort in a Travel Trailer.
