Overall Rating:

Nice campground that has a lot of activities for kids. Everything from crafts, to barrel train rides with Yogi, and much more. They have built a nice kids area that has a water bounce house and bounce pillow. We stayed for 4 nights on our way up through upstate NY. We were given a Lakefront site and it was level with solid power and space. Honey Wagon service was free and prompt when you called. There is a rickety bridge to the Lakeside, but we are 44k lbs and rolled over it pretty solid. Lots of permanent units that are well kept, and some serious golf cart traffic on the weekends. Wifi worked well, except for when the crowds crushed it on the weekends. Only issue was front-office service, the girl was clueless and didn't follow through. There is little to no cell service here. We have VZW, AT&T, TMob, and Sprint - all of them struggled to get anything. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Older campground newly franchised Yogi Bear. Many many residence, as evidenced by blocks and framed patio. New PT section adjoining lake very unlevel and strong odors....simular to cow pasture or septic venting. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We stayed at this park for a long weekend. Very kid friendly park with barrel train, bounce houses and crafts. The facility is very well maintained and staff is friendly and accommodating. One staff member even offered to pick up pizza for us in town. We had a nice large level lot but were unable to have 50 amp or sewer connection but offered on site pump out service for free. We also added cable option for $5 for entire stay which was reasonable. Excellent food in cafe and laundry also available. Nice hidden gem convenient to I-86. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

I am over ten yr user here, seldom moved to comment. But as others noted, stated ppa rate $17.50 by phone, quoted $19.00 on arrival, hard try to up charge to $21. Refused any but phone quote for w/30 E. So placed on unlevel, precarious, edge of a deep dry gulch with the deep water wellhead ON my postage stamp site. Low voltage, barely allowed by my EMS. Huge tree prevented full use of slide out. Only reasonable campground for many miles or I would have declined and would NOT return nor recommend. No OTA TV and to purchase cable requires fhu and the inflated rate it incurs. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Motorhome.

We weren't informed that our space was water & electric only, and once we got setup tried to get TV no stations. Later we were out and found someone to talk to, they informed us that for $3 more we could get cable. That was not communicated to us. We weren't given a map of the grounds or informed where the showers or restrooms were. The showers, no hooks for your things in the shower, and the water temp is not adjustable. Not impressed, even though the grounds are well kept. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

We chose this park because we are members of Passport America discount camping club. We were in the area and had to drive a little out of our way to find a reasonable rate for a campsite.

The advertised rate was $16/night on the Passport America site. We called to verify availability before arriving but not the nightly rate. When checking in we were told the rate was $18 and that "they" had it wrong on their website.

Now, $2/night is no big deal for a four-night stay, but it just sours the experience when things are not as they are quoted.

We found a site with full hookups and got settled for the night. The next morning at 8 am the pounding started outside our door. Apparently the RV next door was being replaced with a park model trailer. This park is loaded with seasonal units and very few transient sites. Most of the transient sites they have do not include sewer service. You have to ask for that!

Long story short, we were asked to move so they could get the old trailer out and the new one in. You mean they did not know that the day before?

Once we settled in another site we were fine. The Electric service worked fine, the sewer hookup was a 3" service, but was new, and water pressure was good at 60 psi.

We were in site 23 on the end of a row which was good, close to the laundry, but every golf cart in the place paraded by all day long. It was like being in Florida in February.

The campground was off the main highway through Bath NY so if you are in the area, need a spot for the night, and are Passport members, it will get the job done. Just verify the rate as it is subject to change! We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park at Babcock Hollow Family Campground in a Motorhome.
