Great small campground. New section on east side has double length sites. Good power, water and sewer. Interior roads and sites are new crushed stone. No dust yet. Older sites are close together but not too bad. Campfire pits at each site. New sites have concrete patio. No trees so satellite had no problems. Good wifi and att/verizon signal. Owner and host were very nice. Great place to discover central NY and a great place to shop for antiques. Warning: Do not enter from Hwy 20. Use main entrance on Canal St. We would definitely come here again. We camped at Cider House Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed at this park for 2 nights. At check-in the person was courteous & very knowledgeable about the park & surrounding area. She explained that the wifi had recently been upgraded & another repeater was added further down in the park & to please let her know how it was working. The wifi was excellent and the park was about 2/3 full. The park has paid showers, but if you are camping there, the showers are free. The paid function is only used when the big antique show is going on in early August. There are about 8 or 9 new 50 amp pull thru sites that were added this past spring. Those sites are long and spacious. The grass was cut & overall the park was very neatly kept. it was very evident the owners take great pride in their park. I would definitely stay there again. We camped at Cider House Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

We checked into this campground a few days before labor day. The main event for this park is a big antique show at the end of August and that occurred the weekend before we arrived, so it was nice and quiet for our visit. We chose this park because it was the closest park in the area to visit friends. The sites with full hookups (sewer, water & electric) have 30 amp. There is free WiFi and no cable. The WiFi worked well closer to the office, but was spotty at the far end of the park. The park also offers tent camping. The staff was friendly and helpful. We would stay here again . The downside of this park is for those that plan on using the showers. The showers are Pay Showers and according to a neighboring tent camper, they are on a timer and are quite expensive. The roads and big rig parking spots are stones. Each site had a nice big picnic table and fire ring. There are not many trees which is exactly what we prefer for a good satellite reception. The area here is very pretty. There is an old canal with a hiking path across the street from the park. There are many good restaurants in the area as well as many antique shops. We camped at Cider House Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is plenty to do and see in this area, but it is also quiet and relaxing. The camp hosts were very helpful in suggesting restaurants and activities. Bikes are also available for rental. They were $10 a day at the time of our stay.

We have stayed here before and looked forward to coming back. It is a small campground BUT really well maintained. This time, the free WiFi was down, but AT&T worked fine. The park only has 30 amp but it was sufficient for us. The water pressure was good and there was a sewer connection. At the end of our stay the park filled for the antique show that Bouckville is famous for. We also saw a hot air balloon land right behind the park when he ran out of air current. We stayed here in a 40-footer and will return. We camped at Cider House Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Small family business, very friendly staff, the rate reflects a weekly rate of $150 per week, the park is basically a well maintained lawned area with gravel pads, picnic table, fire pit, 30 amp, water and sewer. Wifi was STRONG and we were at the back end of the park. We stayed here in a 40 foot motorhome. The interior roads are gravel and well maintained and accommodated us quite easily. Great little undiscovered jewel. We camped at Cider House Campground in a Motorhome.
