We stayed here one night. The campground is beautiful sitting in a valley along side a beautiful stream. Sites were nice. The bathrooms were clean but had no path to them to keep feet out of freshly mowed grass. Inside the showers were not very good. The one my wife went to shower in had a broken pipe that sprayed into the roof and then sprayed on her from the ceiling. Most of the bathrooms were locked the entire time we were there. My shower varied from hot to cold and no one else was in the shower house. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Motorhome.

Camped in a 35 foot fifth wheel on site B 25. Required one board to level. Site is wide, long, grassy, with large trees on side of site that provide good shade until late afternoon. Plenty of room for truck. Lanes are gravel, dusty, & with a few pot holes to avoid. Trees are trimmed high, but some sites have roots with which to contend. Good AT&T cell coverage & WiFi. No cable TV but can rent satellite box. Bath house has clean & private (low flow) showers. Laundry house is clean. Did not use pool but looks well maintained. Rock climbing wall, bounce pad, water slides, miniature golf, tether ball, billiard table, paddle boats. Snack bar, but closed for season. Adjacent to pretty, shallow Neversink River. Small ponds on grounds. Prompt free shuttle to, & pick up from, NYC/NJ train platform ten minutes from campground. Quiet & dark at night. Staff is friendly. RV park is a bit shabby, but grew on us during our two week stay. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed three nights and it was a good experience. The site was terrible to reverse into because of the trees but once there it was beautiful, backing onto the river.

Our seven year old had an amazing time in the river, on trails and on the water slide.

Cable TV and Wifi did not work at all. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Too tight - big rigs will definitely have problems. Overall not well maintained.

They had a group of kids camping and they went on until 3am.

The campground refunded our money and I still won't be back.

No one ever addressed the problems or apologized - just emailed a credit. At least they knew there was a problem.

The place has so much potential... We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Motorhome.

The roads leading to the camp ground are narrow, with a couple of tight turns.

We arrived early evening and went to the rest rooms after hooking up. Both mens and ladies had papers strewn in the showers, and there was no soap in the rest rooms or paper towels in the dispensers. The next morning, we returned to the showers and found they had not been cleaned, nor had there been any refills of soap or paper towels in the dispensers. A major reason we chose a KOA was the expectation of clean showers to start the new day. Not at this KOA. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Motorhome.

We arrived at the office well after the closing time on Memorial Day weekend, and looked for our information in the late registration box. A campground employee, a nice young man, walked up and offered to lead us to our site, which it turned out had been set upon by squatters. We needed to wait an hour for them to move to their paid sites. If it had not been for his cool calm misdemeanor, the situation could have been bad. We had booked a site with full hook ups but there was no sewer available, the staff discounted my price, and we had no issue as they emptied our grey water tanks for no charge over the weekend. The campgrounds were packed and the bathrooms near our site were also near the pool, which kept the staff busy trying to maintain them. The bathrooms a little farther from our site were very nice. The site was spacious, level and well maintained. We camped here in a travel trailer for 3 nights and will happily stay here again. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Gorgeous location along the creek (river?). Very convenient to Delaware Water Gap. But, quite expensive for a campground. This is certainly a supply demand thing. Not a lot of (or any?) campgrounds with full hookups nearby.

Recent upgrades to the bathhouses are very nice. It is obvious that the owners are investing in this campground.

Cable TV has some problems with cables strung across the roads in some places and extra splitters in place. But it worked OK once plugged in.

Sites are OK and pretty level. Mostly grass and some (barely visible) gravel.

Nice activities along the creek with breakfast buffet on Saturday. Definitely a great fishing campground. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Travel Trailer.

My wife & I stayed one night while in transit. From major highways access is curvy hilly narrow paved roads. Management staff was helpful upon arrival. They moved us from a back-in to a drive through site without an upcharge. Acorns were falling so they bothered us during the night. Ask for a site not under a tree if you are here during the fall. CATV was good. Not sure about cell or WIFI, since we did not use them. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Nothing is close by. Come prepared or expect a half hour drive to purchase basic items.

This park is situated directly on a river which looked good for fishing, and maybe suitable for canoeing, and kayaking.

Great place! Spotless restrooms, good water pressure, good TV signal with antennae, didn't need cable, being by the river was fantastic! Beautiful, just what camping should be like, and the facilities for children were all well maintained, beautifully kept grounds and great staff, would definitely stay there again. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Great restaurant in Port Jervis at the Erie Hotel. Historic old building with great food and beer at reasonable prices.

Ok but not great. Very expensive sites. We would go back for river and hiking activities, but I would bring the trailer to avoid bathroom and noise issues. Pool was icky but it was a holiday weekend and lots of humanity in it. WiFi only works near the store. Some activities. Store fairly well stocked but small. Staff everywhere and very nice, but not enforcing rules. Staff driving at night through tent section with full headlights and flashing yellow lights on top of pickup and dump trucks. Few, if any seasonals so did not have the trashy look to any of the sites. Yurts looked nice. Fishing pond and lake were full of algae. Lots of bugs but not unexpected with all that water around. Tent near the stream, RV near the river for the best sites. Section E had serious flooding issues. Bathroom space an issue for tenters; they were toilet/shower combos, which is great until there is a line of 20 minutes+ every morning and evening. I would not travel far to stay here, but it's a great getaway if you live within an hour or so. It is not a "destination" area unless you only plan on outdoor stuff, or want to drive 20-30 minutes for tourism stuff. For non-locals, it would be a decent home base to visit the city for a day or two because of the train service in Port Jervis and ease of bringing a trailer here vs. close to the city. The road there does have major switchbacks but our confirmation did show that along with an alternate route suggestion. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Tent.

Stayed here for one night on our way to North Carolina. The directions given to campground takes you down a very hilly road with many sharp switchbacks which were difficult to navigate. The first site that they gave us was so out of level that we could not use it, we had to ask for a new site, which was not much better. Campground roads are rough, narrow, and dusty. Our site had good power and water pressure. Did not use the Internet as it was to weak. We will not stay here again. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This was the first time we stayed at this campground. We were taken to our site by a member of the staff. Our site was huge and in the sun. The jumping pillow and inflatable slide were a big hit with the kids. There was black moldy spots on the inflatable slide which not been cleaned in a while. The bathrooms were huge and very clean. We walked around and found that the mini golf was closed since the owners had not kept up with it. The game room was near the min golf and was in need of being cleaned. The door to enter the game room had a broken pane and was not covered. There was garbage on the floor and a paint roller sitting on the sill. We then made our way to the paddle boats and found out they too were not working and the water area closed off. I was not happy to stay here and will not be returning. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Travel Trailer.

With a scenic river to float on, a jumping pillow for the kids, and new bathhouses, this park is a diamond in the rough, but as of now, very rough. Serious infrastructure issues: insufficient electric service and water supply caused entire campground to go hours with no water and only sporadic, limited electricity at a full hookup site. Pool was filthy throughout our stay. Lots of mosquitos: almost too annoying to sit outside even in midday. In 5 years of camping, we've never left a park a day early: until this one. We camped at Deerpark/ New York City NW KOA in a Motorhome.
