Lovely CG with a lake in the center. After a hectic labor day week it was nice to sit outside and relax in a nice quiet park with a lake. It had rained a lot so the site was pretty muddy. You need to pay for WiFi but is was barely usable. The bathrooms though clean were not very inviting and full of bugs, they definitely need an upgrade. Be sure to pay attention to the directions on the web site, there is a 12' bridge that you need to avoid. If in the area we would probability stay here again. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

This is a somewhat hidden gem in central New York. Campsites surround a small yet scenic lake. Some sites are in the woods, some are open with some shade. Sites are roomy and most seem to be reasonably level. We stayed for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. Most open sites are grass, those in the woods are gravel/dirt. Management was friendly and helpful. Park is well-maintained but could use some modernization. Family owned for 33 years, and owners are thinking about selling. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Two of the shortest approaches from the highway through town will lead you to 12' underpasses. If you have a high rig, make sure you check with the park for the best route through town.

Overall Rating:

This is a family run campground. Very nice folks running it but... Electrical 50 Amp service Initial plug in with no load leg 1 - 120v and Leg 2 119V With load and within a one hour time frame. Two low voltage shutdowns and four power outages. Horrible unreliable power. Our site was buried in trees, no satellite possible, site was level and had the appearance of not being used very often. This was only an overnight stop for us. Only hooked up electrical power. Roads in the campground are rough and EXTREMELY dusty and I mean EXTREMELY dusty. Just as bad a driving in Alaska. Tow vehicle was covered in massive amounts of dust as is the motor home. At $39 a night this is way too expensive for lousy power and no satellite reception. Expected much more for that price. Called office and notified them about the poor electrical. Was told husband was out on his ATV and would come by soon. About two hours later the owner did show up. He changed out the 50 amp plug. No problem with the power after that. Verizon Cell service worked but data performance was poor with a ping of 47ms, .70 Mbps download and .40 Mbps upload. There is WiFi in the campground. Free for the first 15 minutes after that a cost $2.16 for a twenty four hour period. Very poor performance with a ping of 1,345 ms, 0.01 Mbps download and 0.01 upload. Not worth the price. Campground is located about 10 miles off of I86. Your GPS will most likely take you through the town of Endicott, New York on US 26. Be advised there is a bridge with a height restriction of 12 feet 6 inches on that route. If you have an RV higher that 12 feet 6 inches you must follow directions on campground's website. Endicott downtown has small streets and not favorable to large RVs. Maneuvering through the small side streets to avoid the bridge is a real challenge. We will not return there. For the past 20+ years I have stayed here when in the area. Quiet, very well kept, always excellent electric so no worries about appliances. Personally, I like that the hosts run a 'tight ship' and it helps make for a nice and secure stay. Knowing if there is something getting loud or privileges being abused and it will be taken care of, usually without having to notify them is great. Bottom line, it is their property, they expect it to be respected and I have NO problem with that. Very friendly and more than willing to help accommodate your needs. Always enjoy going back. So we ended up here quit by accident. The campground we reserved was really in the woods and had no cell service. I work from the road so I must have cell.

The park is family run and in a beautiful location. Owners were quite nice.

However, you really have to want to go here as it is not exceptionally convenient. Do NOT go up RT 26 if you are in a big-rig as there is a railroad trestle with just 12.5 feet of clearance. Call them for directions.

Large site, beautiful lake, big fish, great trail, beautiful flowers.

Sites were not exceptionally roomy but there were not many people during our visit so it wasn't an issue.

Sites are grass. Our rig is 21000 pounds and we did sink in just a bit but not a problem.

Once you arrive, you will really enjoy! We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Very very nice, clean. quiet campground. Great hospitality! Hay wagon family rides, lots of fish and adorable visiting ducks! Roads were not as bad as in reviews, actually in very good condition. As expert camper, we have seen much worse roads. This campground is highly recommended. We will be returning. Thank you! We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is in a beautiful location, convenient to the area's activities. All the sites are grassy and ours backed up to a lovely small lake. Bathrooms are dated, but very clean. The unpaved roads are challenging, so keep to the 5 mph speed limit. The hookups were good and the owners were friendly & helpful. We received a few OTA TV stations and WIFI was weak. Again, this is a beautiful location. The hefty price is reduced a bit if you stay for a week. We liked it and would return. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

A very large park, with many open sites. It has open and wooded large sites, with many water view spots. It is on a small lake, with one end sectioned off for swimming. We only stayed overnight on our route, but could see staying a few days. As the park is very pretty. The water pressure was not very good, and the Wifi was poor, not worth the extra that we were charged. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We arrived shortly after labor day. Ended up staying longer than anticipated. Just a beautiful quiet setting. Stayed right on the lake with surrounding trees starting to change color. Owners very accommodating and friendly. Very well kept, organized and clean. Not close to highway, but is worth going out of your way. Paid a couple of bucks for WiFi. It was worth it to us. Only issue is with the water. Had sporadic eggy sulphur smell. We use a brita filter for drinking anyway. Definitely will stay again. We stayed in a fifth wheel. The grounds of this family run campground are beautiful with many grassy, water front (large pond) sites. The pond is stocked and no fishing license required. The campground is peaceful & the owners are mowing continually. Water, sewer & electric were good & we were able to pick up a few local TV channels. The owners were friendly & anxious to make our stay enjoyable. The restrooms were clean but need updating. Roads were shale & dirt and needed grading or paving. We had problems in the small laundry room & reported it and they seemed anxious to attend to the issues. The game room was pretty much closed down. They had weekend activities that were fun. The WIFI had a fee and we did not use it. We liked it here and would return. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We only stayed at this park for two nights; we'll be back when the weather is warmer! It is a very pretty park, although it is remote. Our biggest complaint is that they charge extra for certain things that we would rather have included in the base price. The WiFi worked well, and the owners and other campers were friendly and helpful. Not all of the sites would accommodate our 35' trailer, but they have sites on the water or in the woods that would work. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stopped here in an emergency on a Sunday. The staff was friendly and helpful. This is an excellent campground with overnight sites right against the lake. The scenery is spectacular and the lake calm and serene. Internet service is $2.00 for 24 hours with extended rates available. I would highly recommend this campground if you are looking for peace and relaxation. Absolutely would stay here again. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Motorhome.

This CG was a chance happening – we needed a one-night stop over. We’re really happy we stayed here. The CG is very nice, with beautiful grassy areas surrounding a small lake. Almost all of the overnight sites are on the waterfront. Many of the sites are able to accommodate larger rigs. We had full service. CG staff was very friendly. Washrooms were clean but tired looking. There was a beach area for swimming, but we weren’t there long enough to use it. Internet was inexpensive with a strong signal. Lots of ducks wandering through the camp sites. We will definitely stay here again. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This park has the potential to be great as the setting is beautiful. The staff is pleasant and helpful. The AC voltage is fine, we didn't use the showers or restrooms and didn't swim in the lake. The roads are poor and all the sites are back-ins. There is no cable TV and the price structure well, nickel and dimed you to death. The price is very high for the service rendered but it is the only big rig site in the area. The access roads are steep and narrow plus are about 10 miles from the interstate. Having said all that, we would stay here again. We camped at Pine Valley Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
