1 Park near Fayetteville, New York
Aug 2015 - $27.00
This is a State Park and has budget limitations. They are working on the campground in the woods so we could only go to Rolling Hills area. Some sites had water/electric and others electric only and a few no utilities. We were told we could "only" fit in a certain site though a number of the electric only sites on grass would have worked. I don't think the girl on the desk was a camper or familiar with various RVs, trailers or pop-ups. So our site was on dirt and tree roots, NOT level (we could only put out the bedroom slide), and difficult to get in. Needed extension for electric and second hose for water due to placement of the pedestal. LOTS of families with kids on bikes, walking, and having fun. Lots of folks with campfires in the evening quietly enjoying the grounds. Shower was good. Campground DOES encourage recycling. We would ONLY stay here again if on a more traditional RV site. Perhaps the wooded sites (being rehabbed as of our visit) would meet the need with level pads and FHU. - Too-wow
Jul 2015 - $23.00
Beautiful park with lots of activities including sandy beach and lakes. Spacious lots and friendly people. Hiking and biking trails. Close to the Finger Lakes and about 30 minutes from Syracuse.
There are over 65 RV sites here, but only about 23 with electricity. Make your reservations early! There are no water or sewer hookups, but water is nearby, as are bathrooms. - Nibot
May 2014 - $26.00
Roads are paved but sites are gravel at best. Some sites are short. The park is very unique with its two small lakes and many hiking/mountain biking trails. The park has a sandy swimming beach with crystal clear water. Close to Syracuse and gets a lot of day visitors to the beach and trails. - Appleknocker
