This is a nice, older park with very nice and helpful owners. The sites are gravel pull throughs with full hookups. It is about an hour from Niagara Falls and the erie canal but an easy drive. The restrooms are not up to modern standards, i.e. no doors on the toilets, just a partial shower curtain at the showers (men's). The laundry facility had 4 washers and 4 driers but the spin cycle on two of the washers was ineffective so drying took double the time and expense. It is easy going and has about 50-70% long term residents but most were in good shape. We would stay here again. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

I agree with the other comments about this park. This is an older park and does need a good facelift.I do not believe an RV park should be raising chickens, hens and a rooster.Very loud in the morning and are out roaming around the park.I don't think I would return. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Normally quiet park that was packed with hordes of happy children over Labor Day weekend. Lots of seasonals that are responsible for maintaining their own lawns, so the level of care ranges from "neat as a pin" to very sloppy. The facilities are old and in need of paint and cosmetic repairs but they are clean. No WiFi or cable available. AT&T signal is one bar. Plenty of broadcast channels. Beware the Willow trees a storm came through and at least one two inch limb hit the coach. We were fortunate enough to be present for Charles Famous, all you can eat, turkey dinner with all the trimmings for $7.50. The park also had an excellent all you can eat breakfast with pancakes, sausage, made to order or scrambled eggs, toast and juice or coffee for $4.50. I gained three pounds in two days! One power leg ran 16 Volts less than the other which caused our surge protector to kick out at least twice. We would stay there again but not for two weeks. That was too long without internet. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Make sure to go to the Canadian side of Niagra Falls. It is worth the extra expense and crowds. The casino has $5.00 parking. Buy all day bus tickets to get around for $7.50 each.

Overall Rating:

As Fulltime RVer's my wife and I see a lot of parks and even thou we don't expect the best or all the bells and whistles, we do expect up to date facilities, easy access, a clean and tidy park, friendly helpful staff and all for a good value.

With that we rate each aspect as follows:

Up to date facilities: 2 (Older park with old facilities and sites very close together. Our site had a severely broken concrete patio, sewer outlet too high, registration was filled out on paper.)

Power supply was straining. Mine went out a couple of times during heavy load. My surge protector protected us but ours and well as the neighbors had sporadic problems during our stay.

Our sewer outlet was higher than the outlet coming from our RV. Our site though, seemed to be the exception as we didn't notice it elsewhere.

Easy access: 4 (Access was good, fairly easy to maneuver our 40' 5w.)

Clean & tidy park: 2 (Lot of trash lying around, our fire pit was full of trash from the last people.)

Friendly & helpful staff: 2 (My wife calls him the Campground Nazi. Very strict with the rules, beware. Whether its talking after quiet hours, inadvertently going the wrong way on his divided entrance or letting the 20lb harmless poodle dog off the leash at our campsite you will get busted.)

Value: 5 (Best part of this campground, no complaints here.)

We stayed here for 8 days and received the weekly rate. No discounts. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

An OK place to park to visit Niagara Falls. Outside the tour staging area but not too far to make the trip into the falls. Decent wineries around as well. Just don't expect much out of this park.

Overall Rating:

We stayed here using the Passport America discount card. The $16 per night was for full hookups. The electricity is metered at eighteen cents per kilowatt hour. For us, that added a few dollars a night.

The campground is older, but they are working on upgrades for the transient area of the park. The town is out in the middle of nowhere but it is quiet, except for the chickens that are the early morning alarm clock.

The park was perfect for what we were looking for: cheap, had adequate services, a place to catch up on our work, and shopping about ten miles away. Our electrical pedestal was like new, the water pressure was at 80 psi, and the sewer hookup worked fine. We had a concrete pad outside our door.

Bigger rigs should have no trouble getting in here. Best to reserve ahead for proper accommodations. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Very nice campground, well off the road and quiet. The price reflects a charge for metered electric which is deducted from a cash deposit. Sites are good sized with well placed utilities which all worked very well. Water pressure was excellent and electricity was consistent. We had to do some minor leveling. Our site remained free of pooled water after each rain. We also had a concrete pad. Nothing fancy but well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We definitely plan on returning. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

This is a nice park with a great owner. Sites are level and gravel with patio and table and grass. There is a lake for swimming, fishing and boats. There are lots of trees so Sat. may be hard to get. Verizon worked good. There is an extra charge for metered elec. Would stay again. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This place was OK. Bathrooms need some improvement. Woman's bathroom had rude notes left by the owners asking you to clean poop off the toilet. Do people really leave poop on the toilet? Sites were large and easy to navigate. Everyone was really nice. Would return. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

We camped here with two other families. Very run down campground with many seasonals. No major complaints but could be improved. Nice walking path around the man-made lake and the "swimming beach area" is OK but nothing great. Being with other families made camping fun. Did not leave park while here. No Internet. Could be improved but don't think they want to. All the seasonal love it there. Wasn't terrible but have seen better. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Rate reflects Passport America rate. It is 30 miles (50 minute) drive from Niagara Falls. This place has not been updated since the 70s. We would not use the bath houses. The sites are level but all are located near standing water so lots of bugs and the mosquitoes feed on you all day long. Worse after dark. Fire rings are a little close and need cleaned out. The owner shut the water off to the park to find a leak but didn't bother to inform anyone ahead of time. I was told by a permanent resident that this is a common occurrence. This campground is in need of a lot of upgrading. It is mostly filled with seasonal and permanent sites. We would not stay here again. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

In the middle of nowhere, but still not a bad drive to Niagara. Lots of open space, although the sites themselves aren't all that spacious when it comes to separation. Plenty long. Level gravel and grass sites with concrete patio and table, truck rim fire ring. Firewood is reasonable. Fifty amp, but they charge for electricity. PA park. No Wi-Fi. Some shade. Lots of room for dog walking. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

This is a large campground with many nice seasonal sites. Best price near Niagra Falls. Interesting enterance with very tall, impressive trees with a narrow road. Easy to drive one way at a time. When we arrived the owner tried to give us a back in although I specifically requested a pull thru in the phone reservation with deposit. After some discussion we did get our pull thru and it was fine. If you travel with dogs as we do and are planning long days in Niagara there is an excellent and reasonable kennel 3 miles away in Gasport. We came from the East and took Exit 48A based on park directions. We left on Exit 49 which would have been a better entry route as well. We stayed 2 night with Passport America. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The park is a distance from Niagara Falls but it's easy to travel to the Falls, Lake Ontario, Erie Canal, and the Niagara Wine Trail. We stayed there four nights at the FMCA rate since the Passport America rate was not honored due to the Canadian Thanksgiving holiday. Although our site was long enough the sewer location was very inconvenient. The park has many seasonal campers but very few were there at that time. We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Campground is very pretty and our site was level. Voltage was low at times. $15 for PA + electrical (PA sites are on meters and ours was $19.62 for 5 nights). Water and sewer were good. Verizon air card worked here. We used this as a home base to visit Niagara Falls (1 hour away). We camped at Niagara Hartland RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.
