3 Parks near Grand Island, New York
Aug 2015 - $77.00
This park is a bit spendy, but the location is great - close to the freeway (but no so close that you hear it), and close to Niagara Falls and Buffalo. WiFi barely reached us, as our site was far from the front office. No cable TV, but plenty of over-the-air channels. No real clubhouse to hang out and take care of your computer-related chores, just a small general store/office and other outlets. This place has lots of modern log cabins to rent, and it was very busy with families when we were here. They even brought in someone with wild animals to give a show-and-tell talk to the campers. Very quiet, close to nice grocery store and a few other shops. - coffeetime

We loved Branches and thought it would be an absolutely excellent choice for people with children. They have lots of activities for kids - volleyball, tether ball, little carts and bikes for rent, fishing - just endless possibilities. The setting is incredible. The staff quite friendly.
The bathrooms were VERY nice. In our travels, we always ask ourselves why people don't put benches in shower rooms, hooks for your clothes and a shower rack for soap and shampoo - Branches had it covered! The showers, bathrooms and laundry facility (albeit it small - 2 washer and 2 dryers) we all quite clean. I ran out of quarters and asked if I could get $3 in quarters for the laundry and the clerk actually said I could buy a roll if I wanted! Very sweet! - Cinzia

A little pricey but Nice park with lots to do. Pool was smaller than pictures made it look. Great people working there. Gravel roads but all in all a great place to stay. Family friendly. great Sunday service. Activities galore. - the Knues
Aug 2015 - $32.00
The new owners, as of 3 weeks ago, were very nice and helpful. Rate reflects weekly discount for 50 amp FHU site.
All sites are back-in, level, gravel. Good Verizon and AT&T signals.
30 amp sites are tucked into the woods, quiet, more spacious and private, more availability. No cable.
50 amp sites are close to the road but pretty darn quiet, close together but easy to back in, shared hookups in the rear (so some rigs might have trouble reaching connections), cable.
No other amenities except laundry, or I would have rated it higher. But you can't beat it for a basic base to explore the area. There's a $1 toll each time you enter the island. - Keeping up with the Joneses
Jul 2015 - $45.00
This campground, which is behind and to the side of a small motel, is a great place to stay. We were here for 3 nights, and had a great experience. The campground/motel is under new ownership, and they have great plans to make improvements, like making Wi-Fi available and offering discounts. The owners and staff are very helpful and courteous. Their campgrounds are quiet, and in the back are wooded, the lawn manicured, and the road is paved. There is a great group picnic area in the center, and all the sites are situated around it. We had 50 amp, water, and sewer. They do offer cable, but our site was new and cable had not been installed yet, but our Dish satellite came in very good. And our Verizon service was great as was the wireless hotspot. If we are ever in this area, we would stay here again and would recommend it to others. - Ferdy
Jun 2014 - $30.00
Clean, well maintained, with lots of grass for the dog! All sites are back in arranged in a semi-circle with a common shaded grassy area in the middle. It was only a few miles from Niagara Falls which is why we picked it. We were able to use our Passport America discount. We would definitely come here again. - Debnroux
Aug 2014 - $62.00
Very large, clean park. There are two pools and one is heated with fun slides for kids. The sites are very close together. Cable is good. The Wi-Fi was unusable at site #267. Office staff told us they always have Wi-Fi problems. - Longhorn Fan
Aug 2014 - $90.00
For the price certainly not one of the better KOAs we have stayed in. Very poor Wi-Fi. Sites are very close together such that our awning touched the RV next to us, so we could not put it fully down. Close to highway with noise but on the plus side very convenient for the Falls, etc. Washrooms, laundry, etc. were satisfactory and staff were helpful with tours, etc. - TommBoyd
Aug 2014 - $72.00
We camped here in a 38 foot RV. The sites are incredibly close together. My neighbors sewer connection is under my picnic table. My slide out nearly touches the awning of my neighbor on the other side. The interstate is no more than 50 yard behind us. - AlanF
