We love this campground! The previous reviews sum it up nicely. Grassy sites with parallel gravel tracks make it super easy to park. Plenty long for our 35' fifth wheel and truck, level. Sites have both 30 and 50 amp. We paid for 30 amp and the owner said of we needed 50 amp just give them another $10/day. Our rate reflects 30 amp with a weekly discount (1 night free). Pretty ponds with free use of paddle boats, a kayak, and a canoe. Firewood available for $7/wheelbarrow load! Less for an armful. Peaceful and quiet, yet convenient to lots of nearby wineries and microbreweries. Gorgeous area of the Finger Lakes. Dump station conveniently located on the way out, and they also offer one free pumpout at your site. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Fifth Wheel.

Extremely quiet campground. Not an RV park but big rigs easily accommodated in the six pull through sites. Owners take pride and live on the premises . Not a lot for kids but they have plenty of lawn space and paddle boats for the pond. Easy commute to any of the west side Keuka lake establishments and Hammondsport. Curtiss museum is interesting and about 15 minutes away. This campground is a perfect get a way for those who enjoy a quiet, well kept place. If you need a play ground, arcade, pool and activities to enjoy "camping", this is not for you . We enjoyed it here and will be back when visiting the area. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Fifth Wheel.

This campground seems quite remote initially but it really is quite centrally located to the wineries, breweries and Keuka Lake. There are 2 nice ponds with paddle boats for use. Fire rings are located at each site. I would have rated this a 10 but there is no laundry for campers use or a dog park though there is plenty of room for one. Also, no doggie bags. Owners are super friendly and they will pump out your tanks at no additional cost when you request. Aesthetically, I would screen the maintenance building from the campsites but it wasn't too unsightly for us. The site was of sufficient width and really good length for our 45' DP and toad. There are about 20 sites available spread throughout the property. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss the Windmill Farmer's Market on Saturdays. Corning Glass and Watkins Glen is about an hour away. Both well worth the trip.

This is a quiet park in a very rural setting about 6 miles from the delightful town of Hammondsport. Recommend using campground website directions even though a bit longer than going thru the town. The park has a variety of campsites from 50amp/water to primitive (no sewer sites but a new dump station is available}. Initial entry is a bit unattractive but once established the place grows on you. The atmosphere is quiet and laid back, a good place to relax. Our site was a pull thru, fairly level, gravel, with good power and water, a picnic table and fire ring. The surrounding area had plenty of grass. In/out of the park and site was quite easy. Two ponds were available with free paddle boats. Bathrooms consisted of three private rooms with sink, toilet, and shower. They were clean and well maintained. The owners were very friendly, helpful and anxious for visitors to enjoy their stay. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Hammondsport is a super little town with some very nice shops and restaurants. Very pleasant to just wander around town. Enjoy viewing some beautiful old homes. Lake Kaeuka just a short walk from town center. Village Tavern is a super restaruant with a diverse menu and excellent food/drink. The number of wineries within a short distance are too numerous to count! Recommend the short drive to Watkins Glen to view the gorge and waterfalls but be prepared for large crowds of tourists.

This campground is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting. The owners are wonderful people. I give this park an excellent rating on them alone.

The park has several level pull through sites on gravel. The electric and water utilities are in excellent working condition and properly located. They don't have sewer at site. Owner will pump out full tanks. Each site has grass lawn with fire ring and picnic table. The are several back in sites available also.

There are two large ponds with free peddle boats for campers use. The park also has free WiFi that works quite well.

The owners are constantly working on improvements and maintenance.

They have installed a dump station which was usable on our visit but is still under construction.

The campground is located near several New York State wineries, beautiful Keuka Lake and the picturesque village of Hammondsport. We will go back next summer. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Travel Trailer.

A gem in the woods. Entrance road and sites graveled. Sites have W/E only, no dump station (maybe next year). Owner will dump you anytime you want at no charge. Quiet...No TV, No cell, No WIFI. Owners were busy everyday keeping up with the grounds. I'd stay here again, in a New York minute. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean and small park (8 spaces). It is located in the countryside a few miles north of Hammondsport NY in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We camped here for one week ($150) in our motorhome and enjoyed the quiet country setting. Our lot was a pull through with 50 amp electric and water. There is no sewer hookups in this campground but the owner will come and pump you out when needed. Not all sites have electric but I think they will be adding more facilities in the future. There are two fishing ponds with boats to use. The park is small, but friendly and nice for visit to this part of NY. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Motorhome.

We camped here in our RV for 5 days. It is an exceptionally clean park. The owners are very helpful and friendly. They have two private ponds for fishing with paddle boats available. It is close to many nice wineries and just outside of Hammondsport. This is a new campground and the owners are steadily adding improvements to what is already a very beautiful, quiet setting. We camped at Camp Elmbois in a Motorhome.
