We have stayed at this campground several times and continue to enjoy it. Easy on and off I-88 with roads and sites that are gravel and a bit dusty due to lack of rain. Utilities worked well and internet was acceptable for easy surfing. We drive a 45ft MH with toad and were able to get into the campground, our site, and out of the campground with our car attached and with no difficulty. The grounds are really lovely and provide a nice area for a walk after a day of driving. We will stay here again if traveling in the area. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

We would stay here again. You can tell when you walk around that this campground used to be a destination when it was in its prime. You can just hear the whispers of camp stories as you walk around the 4 small ponds, play fields, camp store, overgrown trees, or community shelter. Although it is a nice little place to stay, much of it is dated or seen better days. The roads are rough and worn. Some sites are small and difficult to enter. There are a lot of seasonal RVs. We stayed in a Travel Trailer in the Seasonal section. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Travel Trailer.

If you have children with you, any ages, you should visit the Animal Adventure Park, 85 Martin Hill Rd, Harpursville, NY 13787, Hours: 10 am - 5 pm, 12.99/adult; $10.99/child. It is a small zoo but you get to feed 75% of the animals including the infamous April, of YouTube fame. It is cash only but ATM on site. Go when it opens so the animals are hungry.

Fine for a one night layover. Lots of long term residential but were segregated from the other campers. We were in pull through 1 which was convenient to the laundry. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

We were looking for a quiet place to spend Friday night of Memorial Day weekend and this is the place! Beautiful grassy meadows and beautiful views, out in front of a very nice family campground. We had a little difficulty getting here due to construction, but called ahead for directions. We only spent one night, and had full hookups and a pull-through site, which was just what we were looking for! The people are very pleasant, and we would happily stay here again. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

When we arrived at the Park my mom went in to register and was met by a newer employee who was quite pleasant. The owner came in and was quite the opposite, very short with everyone and rather rude. Now the park itself was clean and well taken care of. But if you need assistance with anything, good luck. The morning we were leaving we discovered our RV had a flat tire; being from Canada our cell phones did not work in the park. We went to the office to discover it wasn't open until 1pm, but the owner saw us outside and rudely asked us what we were doing. We explained about needing to use the phone to get someone to fix our tire and she very reluctantly allowed us to call a toll-free number. Her husband then came out and was just as unwelcoming as she was. Considering we were guests at the park, we would only assume that some sort of customer service be present. Luckily we were able to get our tire fixed and leave as we would not want to spend another night somewhere we weren't welcome. Our site was a good size; howeve,r another couple traveling with us was put in a pull-through RV site next to us, and had another RV gone into the spot next to them, there maybe would have been only 10 feet between the two RVs. Seems like it was once one site and they shoved in another electrical and sewer hookup in the middle to get more campers in. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a wonderful restaurant a couple miles down the road (turn right out of the RV park, its 2ish miles down on the left) called the Hitchin' Post Tavern. Absolutely wonderful service and delicious food!

We were given a site on top of the hill for our overnight stay with a great view out our front window overlooking several ponds on the property and the Susquehanna River valley. Our gravel site required extending our front jacks almost to the point of raising the wheels off the ground, but was otherwise well laid out with easily accessible utilities. The free WiFi was adequate, but sometimes a bit erratic likely due to overloading. Our Verizon and T-Mobile signals were strong with good data speeds. Our site was quite open, making satellite reception easy. The campground owners are both very pleasant and check-in was simple and quick. We will stay here again when we're in the area. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

This is a lovely CG reasonably close to Binghamton. The Triple Cities make for a confusing metro area and this is compounded by the merging of three interstate highways some of which is in the end stage of reconstruction. The gem is that you are removed from that nonsense and have a convenient facility. It's a mixture of over night, seasonal and semi short term sites. The overnight appear to be close to the entrance and the longer short term pull throughs are further back with a spectacular view of the mountain range with the CG pond in front of you. The seasonal sites ring the edge so as to take advantage of the view. They are neat and tidy neighbors.

A word of caution: secondary power lines cross over this row of sites. Watch your height and stay off your roof. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We recommend Little Venice Italian restaurant in downtown Binghamton. It's a tremendously delicious sweet sauce. The local rivalry is with savory sauce house which because of my preference shall remain nameless!

Locate Jone's Humdinger for an old fashion summer ice cream stand. Pick up some Lupo's marinade. Binghamton is home to A marinated (chicken, pork, beef, lamb- you pick your favorite) sandwich which is served on a dry Italian roll. Called a Speedie.

We stayed here 2 nights. It started to pour rain shortly after we arrived & didn't let up until almost time for us to leave. When it did stop I noticed what a pretty view we had. Our site was not very level but managable. Hook ups were fine. WiFi was so so. No cable. We were able to get satellite signal with no problem. The water pressure wasn't so great. The host was very friendly, they were having a pot luck the night we arrived. There are a lot of permanent campers but the sites are kept up well. This was a good place for a stop over but there is nothing much anywhere around to do or see. Restaurants are almost non existent, no shopping either. When we left we headed west & the city of Binghampton about 20 miles southwest had lots of restaurants & shopping. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

This was our third stay at Beldon Hills Campground and our third stay in site #4 which is in the front portion of the campground. Super easy off and on the highway. Internal road and sites are gravel with grass between. We drive a 45ft MH and tow a car and were able to easily get into the site and out of the park with the car attached - one has to drive around a small garage to get to the site but easy enough if you go slow and are careful. The site has a bit of a slope side to side which makes the step up a bit high but manageable. There are utilities at either end of the site but it makes a bit of a stretch for the sewer hose either way. The grounds are lovely and the grass and trees were beautifully green. The campground is very quiet and it is really a little piece of heaven. Did not use the rest room facilities. Wifi was pretty good for the purpose of email and a little web surfing. Definitely will return. We camped at Belden Hill Campground in a Motorhome.

Really a one night stop park. Open earlier and later in the shoulder parts of the seasons than any others in area.
