1 Park near Java Center, New York
Jul 2015 - $15.00
Huge multi-loop park. The first loop is a large open area dotted with small maple trees overlooking the countryside. The other loops are down a hill in open areas surrounded by trees...no views of the countryside, but very open within the loop. There are other nooks where one could park an RV or tent. Lots of interconnected dirt roads and a few nature trails some of which border the Beaver Meadow Audubon Center- a several hundred acre nature preserve free to the public. Trees, ferns and other flora were exceptionally large and lush. Lots of wild animals. The night sky is amazing.
Bathrooms were functional. Cosmetically they looked old, but the showers and toilets worked fine. Water tasted odd, but could be due to minerals. The people at the office were friendly. The maintenance guy was very friendly and full of interesting stories.
Pool was clean and in a nice open sunny area. The lake is a large pond and fishing was so-so; lots of carp.
PA rate was honored everyday of week except Friday and Saturday. People at the office were chill and left you alone, even if you didn't show up for hours to pay for the next day.
I wouldn't just re-visit this park but would love to live there. The seasonals were friendly and participated in weekend activities, eg. Christmas in July. - mynyel

Rate was Passport America, good for 5 days which is great. Power was good, site level and grassy with gravel pad. Widely spaced nice sites with tables and fire rings. Office folks not warm and fuzzy or informative. Office opens at noon, so if you want to leave before then and have a gate pass turn it in the night before to get your deposit back. Laundry only has cold water, which they do not tell you. All in all a nice rural, quiet park which we would go back to if in the area. - Grumpier99
Aug 2011 - $19.00
Large campground with spacious sites; mostly grass but ours had a gravel pad. Very friendly owners who keep the camp looking nice. Many seasonal folks on well kept sites. Missed a sewer hook up, but "Honey Wagon" will come by twice a week for a fee. We used Camp Club USA discount with surcharge for 50Amp. Would certainly return if in the area. - Norm & Ruth
