We stayed in the Twin Fawns loop. Secluded sites, just about every site has brush on either side. Plenty of site space and a quiet CG. Showers clean. Beach is down a hill, we drove down instead of walking or biking. CG close to many wineries and golf courses. Penn Tan a short drive north has groceries. Real nice place here. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Fee included reservation fee and "out of state" fee. Sites are enormous and have vegetation that gives good privacy. Sites are mostly well maintained grass, but some had ruts from a wetter period. Camp sites do not have a view of the lake, but we enjoyed taking a picnic lunch to the lake for a great view. The finger lake area is beautiful and the vineyards make a scenic drive and winery tour a lot of fun. Good hiking within the park. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The park was extremely clean and the bathrooms in the loop that we stayed in appeared to be newly refinished. The staff was great and was willing too answer any questions that we had for them. There were a few sites that were pretty wet but in the Esperanza loop if you stay on the Eastern sites they seem to be situated a little higher than the rest of the park. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

We had a great time exploring thru the area and hiking. Also if you venture into Penn Yan there is a great place for Ice Cream and Friend Chicken (Seneca Farms)

We like this park for its proximity to wineries and the beach area in the park. What makes it extra special is the layout of the sites. Each site is surrounded by a hedgerow that provides separation from adjacent sites for a private experience. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Don't miss visiting the wineries that surround Keuka Lake, and if your visit includes a Saturday, try to stop by the Windmill shops just east of the lake for a unique shopping experience. There is a great grocery/souvenir/antique store just west of the park entrance at the corner of the main intersection in Branchport, and larger chain stores a little further away to the east in Penn Yan. A very nice restaurant is right across the street in the Esperanza Mansion, and many more are in Penn Yan.

Overall Rating:

Park has fifty sites with electricity (30 amp only) in three loops. We stayed here in a Roadrek Versatile 190 and the set up met our needs perfectly. Staffer came by at 5pm each afternoon with firewood bundles for sale. A beautiful park - swimming beach, well equipped playground, picnic tables spaced well apart from each other. We stayed mid-week in late September and the park was lightly occupied. A great experience. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

This state park is located on Keuka Lake,, one of the Finger Lakes in central NY. The Finger Lakes are known for their waterfalls, sparkling lakes and rolling pastoral land located in the wine country. You view vineyard covered slopes from the picnic and beach areas. This is a beautiful state park with grass sites, clean bathrooms, swimming beach, boat launch area, trails, dump station, fishing, sail boarding and boating, hunting, hiking, showers, skiing , snowshoeing and snowmobiling, and volleyball. The lake is one of the cleanest in the area and helps to make the surrounding hills ideal for growing grapes. This was a one night stopover for us and we enjoyed our stay. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Points of interest: South of the lake stop in Corning to visit the Corning Glass works museum. The museum has beautiful glass work on display from all over the world and continuous demonstrations of making glass and other exhibits. Tours are free. There is a big parking lot for RVs right next to the visitor center with free shuttles to the museum, the Rockwell Museum and Historic Market Street. Cute town with a lot of interesting restaurants.

What a beautiful campground! The sites are huge and they are grassy and a nice combo of shade and sun. The water is shared between four sites so don't pick a site with the water on it unless you don't mind people washing their dishes and brushing their teeth at the edge of your site. We moved sites after the first night because of this. The staff at the office was wonderful. The lake was beautiful. Super convenient to dozens of wineries. I am ashamed to admit that I am a bit of a camping "snob" and this was my first stay at a state park (we have been camping for 27 years) because I never wanted to be without full hookups. Can't believe what I've been missing! If you are leaving on a Sunday, you might want to consider hitting the dump station on Saturday night as there was quite a line when we were there. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

A lovely wooded campground located in New York's wine country. The sites are large with tall mature trees all around. Easily accessible for big motor homes, yet still private enough for tent camping. A network of hiking tails wind through the forest down to the lake where the water is clear and cold. The beach is nice with lots of tables and grills for picnicking. This is one of the lesser known lakes in the area and during our stay only a handful of the 150 sites were occupied. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice NY State Park on Keuka Lake. Great playground for younger kids. Multiple tents camping on one site creats a large group of people which are not well regulated by park staff. Dogs are not maintained on their leashes as in the rules. Quiet hours are not observed by numerous campers while we were here. Very wet and soggy sites when it rains. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

This is a nice park with large sites. The grounds were well kept and the staff friendly and helpful. There are walking trails and a good beach area. The restrooms were fine and cleaned daily. We would stay here again. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is one of our favorite NY state parks. It is well-kept and located in a scenic area with many things to do. We have kayaked on the lake and toured the nearby wineries. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We spent a week here using this as our campsite as we visited the numerous wineries. The park is located in the middle of the NY Wine Country and is very nice place to be your base camp if you are visiting the wineries. The Finger Lakes are very pretty and there were some nice restaurants nearby if you get tired of camp food. The bath houses are typical State Park but kept very clean. Some sites have "shared" water, one spigot for 2-3 sites, and no onsite sewer but there is a dump station. That is a drawback if you intend to stay for a while because we had to break camp to dump. A minor pain but tolerable. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Sites are nice and large separated by brush. Bathrooms were very clean with no odor. Have to drive to the beach. Beach is large pebbles and littered with goose droppings. Some walking trails but no bike paths in park. Playgrounds consisted of older swing sets only. Good for boaters. We camped at Keuka Lake State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
