First time, spent a week here, love this place. Staff was wonderful and friendly as can be. Site was plenty big, only downside to site was large pine trees that dumped a lot of sap on top of trailer. All the activities were great. Place is very well run. I will bring my family back next year. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This is a very nice park. Top notch. The roads are all paved. The sites are very well manicured. There are lots of trees in the main center section, so the sites are a bit more private. There are a few other section around the outskirts that are more open, more like a parking lot. But that is your choice to go there. They have 5 pools. All nice. All clean. But the indoor pool is supposed to be heated, and its still very cold. they are building a new aquatic center in its place next year. The paddle boats are just awesome. They have a dedicated paddle boat lake. A dedicated fishing lake. A theater. Two movie theaters. Arcades. A well stocked camp store. Pickle Ball courts. Lots of stuff to do. This is a really great park. We stayed for a full week and were very happy here. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

If I could sum up this campground in one word: HUGE!

There is so much to do, one week just isn't enough. There are tennis courts, shuffle ball courts, pickle ball courts, bocce, horse shoes, pools, an awesome dog park, trails, ponds, bingo room, game rooms, movie theaters, family room, ice cream parlor, nightly shows and a large store just to name a few things. The sites are large and level. The bathrooms are very clean and the trollies are convenient. Yes, they charge a high price; but they offer many amenities. You will NOT be bored! We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

The ONLY downside of this park is the cost. I've paid less for a hotel room! We have an 18 year old disabled daughter - and were charged for an extra adult for her! The park is well maintained and has many lovely wooded sites. For those wanting wide open sites - they have those too! There is an amazing dog park, several outdoor pools, and indoor pool, a small cafe, a nice camp store and tennis courts, pickle ball courts, bocce courts, etc. etc. There is a stocked stream to fish and a lovely small pond to paddle boat around in. The nightly entertainment is great. We were able to see a hypnotist (amazing and funny), play bingo (free except for a deposit of $5 on cards which is returned when you return your card) and a magician. The entertainment was GREAT! I do think $90+ for a campsite is high - all sites have water, sewer, cable and electric. WiFi is free - works well most of the time. Many families that were there come back year after year. Liked our site - wooded and private with great space for a hammock and a nice fire ring. Just be prepared to pay for the amenities! We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Really just an outstanding park in all respects. We were there on a weekday where the park was 2/3 empty to when it was completely full on a holiday weekend. It has become an annual trip for us because the park is so nice and there are lots to do around town. The high price is worth it, not just for the amenities but it keeps the campers a little more high scale. We were surrounded by nice families with small kids. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

This campground qualifies as a resort or destination CG. The wealth of amenities available and the "upscale" ambiance of the various buildings and areas would explain the very high cost of a night's stay here in the peak season. It is a sprawling facility and it is evident that revenue over the years has been reinvested in the physical plant and amenities. Check-in was quick & easy and office staff were courteous & efficient. The CG store has ample inventory of just about anything you might need. CG map is easy to follow so there was no trouble getting to our nearly-level site. What you may not get is isolation from loud music provided by nearby campers. WiFi was free but sporadic. At times it would be fine then other times it would be very slow or pages would not load at all. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is one HUGE campground! We were in the 130s and although very clean (they vacuum the sites), it felt very institutional (not many trees where we were, man made lakes, paved roads, etc...). This being said, there were no bugs either which was a plus for us. The facilities we excellent and the location is great. The trolley into town was cool. We did not visit the dog park as it was too far from our site...you have to drive really to get from one end to the other this place is so big. Staff were great. Easy in and out. Over all good place once you know what you are getting. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

What can be said that wasn't said before. It is expensive if you figure we brought our hotel room with us, but they are not just giving you a plot of land to sit on. They give you so much more. Two free movies every night, free shows on the weekends, free activities, free shuttle, free dog park, 3 pools, two arcades, cafe, etc. Everyone working there was great. We will return. Schedule time to enjoy the RV park. We did a lot of activities outside the park which meant little relaxation time in the park.

This is a large RV park and it has many features that families would like. For us the dog park is unlike something we have ever seen anywhere. The park owners spent big dollars on it. Bath house, dog vendor machines, astro turf, obstacle course, and much more. Truly impressive. The sites are fairly large and all hook ups were easy and worked well. We stayed here during Americade. This is an expensive campground, however you can at least see where your money goes. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

My family and I stayed at this campground on Memorial Day weekend. We were so impressed at the cleanliness, it was spotless. You never saw the staff but they were there emptying your trash and keeping things very neat. The pools were great, clean and warm. The place was huge, we couldn't believe how big it was. There was something for everyone to do. Nice bike trail. The trolleys to the outlets were so convenient. Staff were polite and helpful. The grounds were maintained well. Cleanest bathrooms I've ever seen. We would definitely go back. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lake George RV Park is a first-rate RV park situated just minutes away from the town of Lake George. There is so much do do in the area, plus there is loads to do without even leaving the park. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and they do a good job of making sure you have a great, relaxing time while you are in their care. There are campsites for all sizes of RVs and there are all of the amenities you expect from a top-notch RV park. There are several pools, a couple lakes, laundry rooms, a well-stocked store with anything you might have forgotten to bring and anything you may need for a quick fix for your RV. I would have given a better score on value if we didn't have to pay extra for bringing two children. I think the daily price should easily cover the costs of two kids. It is a family campground, so the price should cover the cost of a normal family. I will be back if I ever get the chance. I love this campground. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

This is what I call a destination campground. You could go there and never leave. The amenities are probably too numerous to list but a few include indoor and outdoor pools, movies, live shows, bingo, trolley, cafe and more. We stay the upper level where there are mostly level pull-through sites. This place is expensive but we love the park and the area so much, we usually start our camping season with a week-long visit to this campground. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
