This RV resort is simply AMAZING! They have so many amenities that you could stay a week and never leave. Free Live shows, Paddleboats and movies which is almost unheard of. Yes it's a little pricey but you really get what you pay for. There are tennis courts, pickleball courts, shuffle board, horseshoe a stocked fishing pond, Family Bingo (in season), a HUGH Dog park for both large and small dogs so even the family pooch can enjoy camping, the list goes on and on. ALL roads in the park are paved so it is NOT dusty and easy to ride bikes. All sites have 30 and 50 amp service with free WI-FI, sewer and a great cable TV package with HUGH fire rings with picnic tables. The park is very clean and as soon as a site becomes available, the maintenance is there to clean it and scoop the fire pits. The store is very well stocked with many items so you never have to leave and friendly staff. There is a free trolley service that runs the entire park and also brings you out to the shopping outlets which are out on the main road, about 1/4 mile away. There is also a trolley service ($1) that runs up to Lake George village and back. I have been staying here for many years and feel that this is THE place to stay as we always compare other RV resorts to this place. Next year is a planned water slide park to make this place even better! I can sum this place up by saying, you must try this place to believe it. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I booked this one thinking it was an Adult-only upscale park. Don't get me wrong, love kids etc., just thinking that with all the amenities offered here (movies, live shows) it might be fun to interact with folks are age (68) in a calm setting since we have been traveling over a month at this point, two-three nights in a spot. Whoops. This is a family park and it was stocked full of kids and partying adults. Didn't know the big Balloon Festival was in town. The park is HUGE and does offer an incredible array of activities for families. 30 years ago, we'd have been in the mix. Staff were friendly, fast & professional. Spaces are ok, tight; we were in the outer loop, back in, and while it was ok, parking the tow vehicle perpendicular to the space, in front of the trailer was required. As said, tons of families having a great time. We'd stay again, but not on a "special weekend" :) Got kids? looking for a fun place to camp? This is it! We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I know a lot of RV parks use the term "resort" loosely, but not this park. All RV parks should model themselves after this park. This is truly an RV resort. We had a great time and took advantage of the trolley system, evening entertainment, pickle ball, tennis courts, basketball courts and pools. The only negative is that our site was tight, but we managed. Site surface was gravel and featured a fire ring and picnic table. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Motorhome.

As most of other reviews stated, the park has everything needed so you never have to leave. The entertainment was great for kids and there were plenty of other things to do at the park to keep everyone busy. Trolly service was great for getting into the village without having to worry about the parking. The only real negative I found with this park was the lack of enforcement of quiet hours. There were no employees around after 10pm and for 2 nights there were a couple loud groups nearby that had very loud music and people outside until midnight. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice park. Top notch. The roads are all paved. The sites are very well manicured. There are lots of trees in the main center section, so the sites are a bit more private. There are a few other section around the outskirts that are more open, more like a parking lot. But that is your choice to go there. They have 5 pools. All nice. All clean. But the indoor pool is supposed to be heated, and its still very cold. they are building a new aquatic center in its place next year. The paddle boats are just awesome. They have a dedicated paddle boat lake. A dedicated fishing lake. A theater. Two movie theaters. Arcades. A well stocked camp store. Pickle Ball courts. Lots of stuff to do. This is a really great park. We stayed for a full week and were very happy here. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

An established, well laid out RV resort with many amenities to keep you busy. Park has east and west sides with similar amenities and a free trolley to travel the park. Park staff were great and helpful, very clean, interior roads paved and in great condition. Great biking/hiking paths, outstanding dog park we used a lot. It's the type of park you really don't have to leave, we stayed four days and were very happy, will definitely come back. We stayed at places that cost more and didn't offer half as many amenities. One downside, our site 95 wasn't any where near level, our rig wouldn't auto-level and it was hard to manually level, but it was well located so we didn't ask to move. The east side is all back ins and are well spaced out with wide roads so even a novice will not have any problems backing in. The alphabet sites are a complete blacktopped area. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is truly an RV Resort...their seems to be something for everyone at this campground. You have pickleball, tennis, basketball, pools, pond with paddle boats, biking & hiking trails. We stayed for 3 days of the Americade bike week and we were pleased with everything concerning our visit. Check in was smooth and the staff couldn't help out anymore than they did...site was large, level and had full hook ups (30/50 amp). The cable television had great signal with almost 70 channels and the WiFi was some of the best we have ever experienced while camping. Not to be left out our 4 legged family member had a great time at the bark park. It is probably the best dog park we have experienced with AstroTurf field, wash stations and wooded areas for the dogs to exercise. Overall we would highly recommend this park...this was our second visit and we will be back again. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is an AWESOME RV park. Regular rates are expensive but include many, many amenities. Four heated indoor and outdoor pools, paved bike/hike trail through lovely wooded property with ponds. Trail connects to local area bike trail. Nice playgrounds in each area. At least two huge tennis courts. Two movie theaters and a playhouse with changing nightly shows that are also included. Big store. Great meeting facility. All sites are 50 amp full hookup and many are pull through. Most are large with easy access. Wifi was awesome as was our cell service. There are two dog parks each with artificial turf and agility courses. A free doggy shower and doggy water fountain. Awesome!! Easy to get to from I-87. Local area has LOTS going on and plenty of shopping, restaurants and tourist attractions including an amusement park, hiking and boat ride on Lake George. This RV park is one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

If I could sum up this campground in one word: HUGE!

There is so much to do, one week just isn't enough. There are tennis courts, shuffle ball courts, pickle ball courts, bocce, horse shoes, pools, an awesome dog park, trails, ponds, bingo room, game rooms, movie theaters, family room, ice cream parlor, nightly shows and a large store just to name a few things. The sites are large and level. The bathrooms are very clean and the trollies are convenient. Yes, they charge a high price; but they offer many amenities. You will NOT be bored! Beautiful park with paved access roads, bike paths and many other amenities. The only place we've stayed with tennis courts and pickleball courts! Two heated pools in different sections, and a beautiful dog park! Long, winding bike paths and nice pond! Great camp store, too. P.S. Rate was for 4 adults. This campground qualifies as a resort or destination CG. The wealth of amenities available and the "upscale" ambiance of the various buildings and areas would explain the very high cost of a night's stay here in the peak season. It is a sprawling facility and it is evident that revenue over the years has been reinvested in the physical plant and amenities. Check-in was quick & easy and office staff were courteous & efficient. The CG store has ample inventory of just about anything you might need. CG map is easy to follow so there was no trouble getting to our nearly-level site. What you may not get is isolation from loud music provided by nearby campers. WiFi was free but sporadic. At times it would be fine then other times it would be very slow or pages would not load at all. We camped at Lake George RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Really just an outstanding park in all respects. We were there on a weekday where the park was 2/3 empty to when it was completely full on a holiday weekend. It has become an annual trip for us because the park is so nice and there are lots to do around town. The high price is worth it, not just for the amenities but it keeps the campers a little more high scale. We were surrounded by nice families with small kids.
