Outstanding RV Park!! Exceptionally well maintained and probably the cleanest park we've ever stayed in. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Our site was wonderfully wide and freshly raked. if you are looking for a park where you can relax and truly enjoy the experience this is the park for you. very quiet and peaceful. Other campers we met there tell us they come back every year because it is always clean and quiet hours are enforced. They pick up trash & recycle every evening. The Rec hall is well appointed and there are plenty of games both adults and children can enjoy for free! Very unique, someone has put a lot of time and love into this campground. Wish we could give them a 10 for the restrooms. There were quartz vanity tops, residential style shower stalls with dressing rooms and quaint lodge style shower curtains that gave it a nice touch. The Wifi was a little weak a few times but it didn't bother us at all. We will definitely be back again. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

Book the Luncheon Cruise on the LAC du Saint Sacrament, very good food and nice way to see the sites of Lake George. Don't miss The Silo for lunch Try their White Forest Sandwich, and the Barnsider has good BBQ. skip The Log Jam and all the advertising they do. We ate there last year and found the service & the food to be poor, But decided give them another try this year, service was much better but food just OK, not worth the prices they charged.

The nicest campground in America. Spacious sites, heavily shaded, paved roads, great facilities, decent wifi (a little slow when filled up, but not their fault, the provider does not have the bandwidth). Clean, well kept, great staff that will do everything to make your stay perfect as can be. Quiet and peaceful since they allow no golf carts or pets. Close to everything that makes the Adirondacks so wonderful. Will go back every summer. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is our second stay here. The park is very, very nice. Our back-in site was comfortably large and level. Pine trees offer nice shade and ambiance but do make a pine needle mess. The gravel/dirt sites make a rug almost a necessity for keeping the inside of our camper clean. If you prefer more sun the new section offer almost 60 additional sites many with less mature trees that give a bright sunny exposure. The park is about 50% seasonal. The rules insure a nice, neat campground. Quite and peaceful, there is some road noise from RT. 149 but it is never intrusive. No pets are allowed so there is never a problem with dogs left to bark in the camper all day. All the typical pool, playground, rec room amenities are available and in excellent condition. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

The park is well located to the outlets and Lake George Village. Lake George offers restaurants boat rentals, parasailing, paddle boat cruising, a beach and many shopping opportunities. Plus, the beautiful views of the lake. Fort Anne has many cultural events and great restaurants also. Bolton Landing offers more of the same and we love a nice lunch at the Sagamore. Vermont is just a short drive away with towns like Weston and the Vermont Country Store a beautiful 90-minute drive. This area is one of our "Happy Places" to which we return annually.

I won't repeat what's already been said. However, we found the Wifi to work very well. It did slow down with increased activity. We consider it to be the best we've ever stayed in. We were able to use our satellite after putting it on the picnic table. The new section has more openness. We stayed 6 nights. The sites are spacious. Don't be discouraged by the online campground map. It looks crowded but it's not. The landscaping is beautiful around the public areas and the seasonal residents. Highly recommend!! We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a very nice, quiet park with a combination of pull-through and back-in sites. Our site was large and level. Many sites are shaded with oak and or pine trees. Ours was partially shaded. The park has a pool, playground and game room. While not as full featured as some the other local parks, it is a very nice, well maintained park. Staff was friendly and helpful. I think it is a very good bargain for a very nice park in an awesome area. They are currently working on a new section of sites. No pets allowed. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beautiful wooded and somewhat hilly park. Roomy, all back-in sites. Our site was long and level with easily accessible utilities. Friendly and easy check-in. Controlled entry requiring a pass key, refundable deposit of $ 10.00 for the key. No pets allowed so no barking dogs or messy deposits, yea! Pretty pool. Only downgrade is for non-existent Wi-Fi in our site. There are many permanent, summer?, places as there are many decks and patios constructed on sites, but all were neat and clean, many with flowers and colorful deck chairs. Nice little laundry with 3-4 machines, $ 1.50 for wash and $ 1.25 to dry. We would happily return. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Overall Rating:

Ledgeview is a very nice wooded park with some interesting amenities. The large sites are gravel and grass. We did find it rather difficult to keep the small gravel bits out of our RV during our month-long stay. Besides the pool, which had plenty of lounge chairs provided, Ledgeview features a rec center with ping-pong and pool tables, and at least 10 other unique arcade style games. A piano with music and a selection of adult and children's book are also housed in the rec center. In a different area of the park is a well-equipped playground, shuffleboard courts, and a transportable minigolf course set up under a covered pavilion. Tricycles for all ages are available for rent. The park is very well-maintained by an attentive and friendly staff. WiFi worked ok, but we got better and faster service through our own Verizon service. The park cable TV provided a large selection of channels. This park is expanding, so there was some heavy machinery working on the new sites during our stay. We did not find the noise excessive. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The very nice, paved, Warren County Bikeway was easy to access. We rode our bikes and jogged on it frequently. We even used it to ride our bikes into town to tour an old fort and a French/Indian war battleground. We also found a nice free parking lot with a canoe/kayak launch and a portable bathroom next to the nearby Docksider restaurant. We paddled our double kayak from there several times, and enjoyed dinner at the restaurant after a late afternoon paddle one day.

All paved roads, spacious sites, dense trees/shade. Utilities

were great, wifi a little slow, but it is camping !

Spotlessly maintained, quite and peaceful. Friendly,

courteous, helpful staff throughout. Of the 300+

campgrounds we have stayed in, this is, in my opinion,

clearly the best. Pet free makes a big difference. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is one of our favorite parks to stay at. Clean, spacious sites in a beautiful tall-pine setting. Blacktop roads to all sites. (They are adding sites, so not sure what those will have) Our only wish is that the pool was heated, but aside from that, it's a very nice place. More suited, in my opinion, to campers/RVers who are looking for a quiet place. Not a lot of noise here. Nice game room and rental three-wheel "fun cycles" that we rode, too! We liked it so much, we went back a few weeks later! We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Camped in a 35 foot fifth wheel on site 118. Site is long enough for rig & truck. High trimmed trees provide good shade at one end of site. Paved lanes. Site is wide, required one board to level, sand & pine needle base with nice picnic table. Generally good Wi-Fi & AT&T cell coverage. Very quiet & dark at night except for a few scattered bright street lights. Shower & laundry houses are clean & well maintained. Did not use pool, but looks clean. Nice rec. building with ping pong, pool, assorted games, piano, & covered deck. Shuffle board & bocce courts. Playground. Friendly staff, don't violate any rule. This is a great park with excellent staff. We came to stay for 2 days and ended up staying for a week. The staff were great. We had a problem with our awning on the day we were leaving and they couldn't have been more helpful. Wifi was great at the first site we were on but iffy on our second site. Only reason we didn't give them a ten. I totally recommend this campground. We camped at Ledgeview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Great campground, mostly adult and quiet. No barking dogs, they are not allowed ! Well kept but very treed and some tree roots to contend with in your site. Starting a new section that looks like will be more open. We have been to this park several times over the past 16 years or so, and keep going back. Looking forward to when the new section opens. Very nice campground. It was our second visit. Our site was well spaced on the door side, but very close on the other. So much so that the receptionist assured me that they said they would have no fires in the pit, since it was so close to our slide. Most the time it is a quiet park, but many Canadian visitors arrive in groups with small children making it more noisy. There was a thunderstorm during out stay resulting in quite a bit of water building up in the run off areas. Our site was partially submerged for awhile. Since the park is covered in pine trees, the needles made quite a mess. The roads are good, the park very clean and well organized and the staff is friendly. The pull through sites are a good choice.
