Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $38.00
Just here for one night at the end of their season, but we loved it. Pulled through back in their group area. It was great. About 10 to 15 miles off the interstate and you wonder if you are going in the right direction but well worth it. Everything worked and folks were super nice. We camped at Korn's Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.
There is minimal cell service and light internet. We wanted to stay hooked to our truck so they put us in the group area where we were all by ourselves along the edge of a large field surrounded by trees which gave our dog a place to run. It is a family run operation and they were helpful and friendly. The pool is nice. It is about 10 miles off of the Interstate along a winding road. We would come back again. We camped at Korn's Campgrounds in a Travel Trailer.
If your looking for an RV resort, this ain't it. If you want very pleasant owners, big shady sites along with piece and quiet this is it. Some of the amenities are dated but neat and clean. When I pulled in with our 5er and the owner drove me around to available sites in his golf cart, I noticed some low branches and voiced my concerns about a ripped roof. No problem, says owner and I follow a bucket truck , with him in it , trimming back any limbs in question. I would suggest asking for a site in the "woods", it's a beautiful and rustic area with full hookups. We camped at Korn's Campgrounds in a Fifth Wheel.
