NY Site 55 Sunday June 5, 2016 Cost: $28.75 This park has about 10 sites with electricity and 60 sites all located in the woods. Our site was huge with a picnic table and fire pit and an easy walk to the bath house. There are hiking trails along the gorge viewing five waterfalls and geological formations. Fishing is allowed and in the winter snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Other activities are baseball, basketball, bird watching, picnic tables, playground and recreation programs. There is a spring fed old fashion swimming hole during the summer. The bath houses are clean and it is a quiet campground during the week. The hiking trail to the main waterfall is a easy half mile walk. Very easy and definitely worth it. One can continue on the two rim trails or the gorge trail which goes across the river a number of times. I would make reservations for the weekends and in the summer. We would return to this campground! North on route 38A to 20 west in Seneca Falls is the National Women's Rights Historic Museum which is free but worth a stop! Very well done! We camped at Fillmore Glen State Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We will come back to this campground. Pets are allowed on the Gorge walk and it crosses back and forth over the trail. The spring fed swimming pool looks like a lot of fun.

We used this park to bike around Owasco Lake. There are 10 electric only sites. Site 54 had 50 amps, the other 9 have 30 amp. Site 51 is satellite friendly, a few more may be. Sites are asphalt and level, with a lot of grassy space between sites, all with picnic tables and a fire ring. The nonelectric sites are all grass. It is well kept, a very nice state park. There are very nice hiking trails and a natural swimming pond in the summer. Great for dogs! Did not use the bath house but it is tiled and looks nice. No wifi, but good Verizon 3G service and acceptable ATT service. There is a seviceable market in Moravia one mile away for essentials. Very quiet this time of year and we would come back. Price reflects non NY resident. We camped at Fillmore Glen State Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here in a cabin as a base for some winery tours. The park itself is beautiful with miles of hiking trails along the creek. In the summer they dam a section and have a swimming area. The bathrooms by the cabins are a little older but were kept clean (with the exception of some bugs in the showers). There is a new shower house/bathroom in the camping area which is very nice but the water did not get as hot as it did in the older shower house. The cabin was decent with an apartment sized fridge/freezer and also a stove/oven. The cabins only have twin beds (one bunk bed and 2 separate beds). We ended up pushing the 2 beds together (not easy as they are kind of heavy). I will warn that the mattresses are HARD. We were lucky enough to have water right next to our cabin. We also brought an electric heater with us as the cabins have no heat and no fans. It was also nice that we were able to have our dogs in the cabin with us. We would definitely rent a cabin here again. We camped at Fillmore Glen State Park in a Campground Cabin.

Only 10 sites with electric, none have their own water. Fill up before you get here. This is a pretty little park, has a stream and waterfalls for hiking. We camped at Fillmore Glen State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
