We stayed at Cool-Lea in early June, 2016. Our site was large & overlooked the lake. The owners are so friendly. They took us for a very nice boat ride in the evening and shared history of the area. Cool-Lea has great walking trails and nice office store. We camped at Cool-Lea Camp in a Motorhome.

Vulgar Hosts, Shockingly Rude. Worst campground hosts ever. The monster speed bumps at the entrance will damage your vehicle. The owner screamed at ME for the damage, and blocked us in his property while his daughter cursed us out in front of her children. We came in peace, and left shocked and appauled. We camped at Cool-Lea Camp in a Tent.

We camped here in a 38' fiver over the 4th weekend. We had marginal 30 amps and water, no sewer. First nite, someone needed our fire ring more than we did. The management seemed nice to start, but was very confrontational when my search for the dumpster was thwarted. Map does not show which road to take to get there. Once arriving at the proper road to access the ONE dumpster with a long weekend's trash, the road is gated off. Had to walk 50ft or so with all the stuff. Once there, no recycle containers. Road to dump station is also chained across entry and exit. Previous comments about massive/frequent speed bumps confirmed. Bottom line, this is a seasonal dominated campground. Only a few transient sites, most of which are "on the hill". Breeze off the lake pushes the gnats to guess where? There may be other nice campgrounds in the area, but if this is the only one with openings 1) I can see why, and 2) we'll stay home. We camped at Cool-Lea Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

Great campground despite the unusual access. The owners were very friendly and keen to help make a pleasant stay. Our back-in lot was easy to set-up, almost level gravel/grass with a concrete patio pad. The view from the rear of our Fifth Wheel was very pretty overlooking the lake. We camped at Cool-Lea Camp in a Fifth Wheel.

The campground was awesome! Me, my wife, and two kids stayed there for three nights. You do have to pay $.50 for the showers but they were spotless and the bathrooms were fully stocked. The RV section is at the bottom near the lake and the tent sites are up on the hill overlooking the whole campground. They have a dining hall that has a large flat screen with cable. They have two large propane grills on a deck with tables and chairs for use. They have a playground for the children and the boat rentals are great $8/hour. They have two cabins, one near the RVs and one off in the edge of the woods. Both are very close to the bathrooms. The Cabins have a full bed and bunk beds, microwave, small refrigerator, and air conditioner. We had a blast and will be going back next summer. We camped at Cool-Lea Camp in a Campground Cabin.

Not in Woodalls. Only advertised locally in Watkins Glenn area. Price given includes Good Sam 10%. This park has the strangest entrance with a dozen or more mud-flap scraping speed bumps. To register you must park 50-75 yards short of the office and walk the rest of the way, also strange. The attraction of this park is being on Lake Cayuta, however the lake front sites have permanent residents except four 30 foot back-in sites with water/electric. Numbers 16 and 17 have 30 amp. Number 18 has 20 amp and 19 is padlocked so I can't tell... again strange. On the next tier up there are full hook-up sites that can accommodate large motorhomes. Our site (#18) was close to level with good electric and water. Two local TV stations. No cable or satellite. The reason for selecting this campground was to use our kayak but after seeing the thick green scum and algae over this end of the lake we said no and left the next morning. We camped at Cool-Lea Camp in a Motorhome.
