I have mixed reviews for this campground. Cons: Woman who checked us in was not friendly at all. When explaining the campground rules, she mentioned several times that if the rules were broken, we would be asked to leave, and they would "keep our money." This didn't exactly make us feel welcome. Even at $60 per night, campers are not allowed to run air conditioners or electric heaters (we were told due to voltage problems in the area). Luckily, the weather in early Sept. didn't require either. There was only one trash dumpster for the entire campground. Pros: Our site, in the woods among tall shade trees, was nice. It was mostly level, gravel/sand, and not too tight. Park was clean, with a kids playground and small swim beach on the Moose River. There was plenty of green space in the front of the park to walk my dogs. Campground was quiet, and a short drive to the North Forge attractions. Due to their high price and electric restrictions, we would check out other campgrounds in the area before staying here again. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Overall Rating:

Adirondack location. Converted three back in sites for us to use as one long pull through. It was during the week before school let out. Grass pads, gravel roads. We were out in the sun but there are sites in very shaded tree area. No sewer for us however most sites do have sewer. We had a lovely view of the water. Use of air conditioners not permitted. This was due to inadequate power source. Open all year, even in winter for snowmobilers. Clean large bathrooms. No credit cards. Well maintained and clean park with friendly staff. Would return again at this time of year. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

Stayed around site 122 or 124 (can't remember exactly). Site was beautuful, right on the water. The sounds of the water were so relaxing. Didn't spend too much time at the site as we were mostly in town. Att had zero service, which I usually like to stream music and watch tv while going to bed. Not a huge deal breaker but just a little fyi. Owners were very friendly and accommodating (had a small prob with sewer). Overall, a great campground with beautiful waterfront sites. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

We were here for five days, camped in a riverfront site, very nice! They only have 30 amp service and have rules against using a/c or electric water heaters, which we thought was a bit much. But the location near Old Forge is great with lots to do. The campsites are mostly well spaced apart. The interior roads are a little rough with some tight turns; forces you to go slow. We would come here again. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

Lovely place. It really offers an experience of relaxation and vacation. The camp is on the river shore surrounded by great foliage. There is a very nice beach and the grounds are nicely kept.

Since we were there at the end of September, the occupancy was low, which we loved.

The staff was very nice and the location was good, close to Old Forge.

We would definitely stay there again. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Motorhome.

I just recently stayed at the camp and felt compelled to write a review after I found many bad reviews of this campground. We had nothing but a grand time at the campground. We tent camped and had a site right on the river. It was absolutely beautiful. The owners of the campground were extremely friendly and went out of their way to make sure our stay was happy and safe. To the point when we were heading to the trash dumpster they saw we were struggling with a big bag and drove us over to the dumpster in their golf cart! I have gone to many campgrounds in New York and found the bathrooms at Singing Waters to be the cleanest I have ever seen and when I went to use the facilities in the morning there was someone always in there cleaning. On our site we were able to put two good size tents, a screen house and two cars. If you plan on staying at Singing Waters spend the extra money for a river site. You will not be disappointed. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Tent.

Overall Rating:

I found the owners of this camp to be extremely friendly. They clearly wanted to be helpful, and that goes a long way with me. Unfortunately, the sites are extremely close to one another. The clientele when we were there was LOUD, drunken and uncouth. We retreated a day early as a result. The bathrooms were very dirty. We camped at Singing Waters Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
