Very easy to get around. The owners were wonderful, helpful and very informative. This was our first experience and they helped to make it great. I see other people complained about bathrooms but they were clean except for some dried mud on the floor which could not be helped with the rainfall we have had. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Overall Rating:

There are only two 50 amp sites and very few pull through. We were just passing thru and we did get a pull thru but only 30 amp. Fortunately there was a breeze and the temperature wasn't unbearable with just one ac. The seasonal sites are well kept. Not like some parks I've been in. They have a pool, small playground, pavilion, volleyball, basketball, horseshoes. They do sell propane which isn't shown on their site map and we needed to fill up. Friendly staff. The place could use some paint and repair in places but overall it was fine. Small park. WiFi worked but it was slow so I used my Verizon. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Date of Stay: January, 2018 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This review is a bit difficult, because we stayed at Susquehanna Trail in January at below freezing temps. The park folks were very accommodating in providing us with an overnight site as we headed south to warmer temperatures. But because the park is closed except for a few sites they keep open for folks like us, the facilities such as bathrooms, etc., were closed for the winter and I can't comment on them. We plugged into 30 amp electric for the night, and the voltage was very stable. We used our AT&T and Verizon cell services for our phones, Internet, and streaming TV with very good signal levels. For this visit, probably the best I can say is a big "Thank you!" to the park management for being there and making sites available even in the extreme conditions we were experiencing at the time. We have enjoyed this park in much better weather though, and will be returning in the future. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Bathrooms are old painted plywood, minimal water pressure, not particularly clean. Wifi non-existent. Not many choices in the area but I will look harder for an alternative next time. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Owners were very nice. Spots were level with grass surround. No power at our site. Had to use power from another site. Had other issues with the power which owner remedied. We experienced low water pressure during our stay. Campground has many long term seasonal campers. Convenient to Baseball HOF. Return doubtful. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We needed a central location for a family gathering and this site suited us for this. I was a little intimidated by some of the reviews but when we arrived I was pleased with the friendly staff and the very large sites. There are a number of seasonal campers but did not find the sites really messy. The owners are putting a lot of effort in cleaning up and building camping cabins. Bathrooms are dated but clean. We had good cell phone service and data so did not use Wifi. Had a problem with our power at 10:00 PM and the owner came immediately and fixed the problem which was never identified. I would stay here again. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Travel Trailer.

The hook ups are at the rear of the site so you may need additional hose. The site was level. The owner was on site and very helpful. this was a very easy on/off the interstate and acceptable for one night stay. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This park was really disappointing. MOstly because it really needed cleaning up. There were weeds everywhere and many sites were being used permanently and had junk all around them. The roads had many potholes, especially right when you came in the drive from the main highway. The girl at the office was nice but I never saw anyone working except cutting grass. We had a site that was nothing more than a pull off the road. It looked like some sites had cable tv but not ours. It was depressing that it was such a mess. They were building some cabins but we remarked that they needed spending a few days just cleaning the place up which wouldn't have cost anything but some work on their part. It was supposed to be Passport America but since it was Friday I didn't get that discount. So it was full price for two days. Not impressed. The only reason we stayed here was to go to Cooperstown and I wanted somewhere close off the freeway. I wouldn't stay here again. No tv or wifi signal, cell (Verizon) We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

The rate reflects our Passport America discount. The check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The park is an easy on/off from I-88. Our 30 amp back-in site was clean and well maintained, with well placed utilities. There a just a couple of pull-thru sites and 50 amp sites, but the weather was cool while we were there, so no A/C was needed anyway. The satellite view for our dish was clear, and our Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile cell phones and Internet hotspots all had strong signals and good 4G/LTE service. We were only here for two nights, but found the park quiet at night, and very convenient to the attractions and amenities in and around Oneonta. We will certainly return here when visiting Oneonta again. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Lovely little campground. Had a very nice pull through spot with a beautiful view of grass field and trees. All the sites are well maintained and nicely sized. Campground was very quiet and peaceful. Great place to stop on fall leaf viewing trip. Did not use any of the facilities so rating only reflects site and hookups, and overall look of campground. Would definitely stay here again. Staff very nice and check in went quick and easy. Used Passport America discount and stayed for $25, great value. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

Greeted by owner upon arrival. Checked in by new employee who was cheerful and helpful. Owner directed everyone to their sites and assisted them with parking. Beautiful setting with mountains all around and framed on three sides by a creek with bass and trout. Unfortunately, we were only here for 1 night. Some of our group plan to return on their way back home. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.

We paid full price (had the wrong Passport America card with me & it was expired!), which was too high for what is there. Otherwise the campground is clean and the manager (changing soon) friendly and helpful. Easy to get to from the Interstate, but a bit noisy early in the morning from trains nearby. Lot of long term sites. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is always our first stopover when heading South from the Adirondacks in Fall. The owner is very friendly and they do have a few pull-throughs and full-hookups. It's located a couple of easy miles off I-88, Exit 13. The rate reflects a Passport America charge per night. I wouldn't call this a destination campground necessarily but great for a night when you're traveling. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here twice in two weeks during May. We found the area to be extremely clean, all sites level with fresh gravel and large enough for any camper on the road. A large and well kept area for kids of all ages. The owner is doing a noteworthy job with care of the area, is friendly and knows the area. The park is pet friendly without pet waste in evidence. We would definitely plan to stay there again when in the area. We camped at Susquehanna Trail Campground in a Motorhome.
