Beautiful resort, clean and well maintained, lots to do, a small camp store, bar and grill with specials every day. There is also a 25 acre lake for fishing and boating. A fenced area for pets was a nice touch. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

One of the worst Campgrounds we have been to. Started off with lies and deception. We reserved a full hookup site. What we got was a water and electric site for two weeks. We were told to call every morning to check on cancellations. When we got to the site it was a mud hole in the "New Development" area. I told the person that guided us to the site I couldn't park a 40,000 pound RV on that surface. No help whatsoever from management. Another camper arrived same time as us and switched sites with us. Long story short we moved three times, last two days to a full hookup site. Had to pay to empty our tanks, then had to sanitize the whole area because I saw how they did it. Every day we walked around the campground to see empty F/U sites. Occupancy about 75% with the poorest management I have ever seen. Even the owners to the Park complained about not being able to get sites. As with most places the "help" gets the best sites in the park. We stayed here because of the high ratings from Good Sam, boy were they off the mark. Best bet is leave early morning each day return home late each night. Do yourself a favor and read this before you make reservations. Then go elsewhere! We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

Family oriented campground in the middle of nowhere; great spot for visiting this area of New York. Facilities were nice and in good condition. Band on Saturday night was very good. Downisde was the road and sites. Entry road was in poor condition so take it slow as you enter. The left turn into our area of the camp had a large pothole which really rocked us around and made stuff fall in the coach. Site was grass covered with gravel and it was in poor condition. The area has had a very wet spring/summer so this may not be the norm, but I spoke to a couple of regulars and they said the sites have been a problem for a while. Also, it should be stated up front that C2C members will be given spots without sewer. They did have a low-cost pump out service so it wasn't a problem, but would have been nice to know. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

We got full hook ups. Nice Park...better have an electric extension and a lot of water hose because the hookups could be across your site. Sites are big. Would go back and spend more time. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

This is not a destination RV Park. A stop over at best! Went on a promotion, they try and sell you a membership. Sales crew is rude, pushy and do not like the words No Thank You.

They claim it is 5 star. Not, being kind maybe a 3. Pool and Rec. area all need up-grades. The bartender was nice and had a band at night. We were in a new site that had no sewer?

Don't go to the sales presentation! We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We only came to this park because of the promotion offer and were not interested in purchasing the membership which we told them at the time of the reservation. Still had to go through the presentation but they pretty much gave up on us because we were firm on not buying. My opinion everyone should check out the other campgrounds they own and that are part of this membership before you purchase. As they told us about campgrounds pictures can be deceiving.

Now for the campground review. They state that this is a 5 star resort. We have stayed at other 5 star resorts around the country and this is at best a 3 star. No cable, Wifi only at the office area, only limited 50 amp service, and newer sites with no sewers. The park does have lots of things to do for activities but they require upgrading. Just the basketball hoops alone were in sad shape and the main pool was being torn apart to replace the liner.

The site we had was wide enough but next to someone that was surely a member and had lots of junk around their camper which was a blight on the overall view.

If this were an open campground we would visit again only for a stopover and not for an extended stay. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

The park itself is great. It has a real resort feel, with tons of activities. Everything is modern and well maintained. The employees are friendly and very professional. The park is only a few miles from Interstate 81, so its easy to access but very quiet. There are a number of over the air TV channels. Cell service is very good. There is wifi in the adult lounge only, but it is very slow and did not work part of the time I was there.

As for the site I was assigned, it was hopelessly inconvenient. I was in a new area, and the area itself had a considerable slope to it. They had levelled some of the sites by building up an asphalt pad from the front to the back of the site, but only big enough for the RV itself. This resulted in the back of my trailer jutting out over a cliff. I could only access my water port and bike with a step stool, and could not get my rear stabilizers anywhere near the ground. Also, a common utility post serviced four sites, and I needed an extra hose and an extension cord to reach the utilities. The sites were a good size side to side, but front to back, the trailers were very close, although offset. I did tour the park, and these issues did not exist in any of the older sections of the park. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Price reflects C2C membership. Campground was very easy to find. The staff in this campground were all very friendly and helpful. We were there at the end of the season and so they were beginning to shut things down. They have a restaurant, but it is only open on weekends. (We were ok without a lot going on, so this isn't a negative... just a comment.)

This is a standard "parking lot" style campground. However, they easily handle big rigs.

Sites are close together but manageable. The truck, 5th wheel and jeep all fit in the site-but very tight.

Gravel roads through the campground; asphalt main campground roads. Camp sites are grass and each site has a picnic table. We struggled getting level in our site-there was a significant slope.

They have a laundry room, machines were only $1. Campground is directly on the lake. There was a great deck overlooking the lake that we enjoyed while waiting for laundry. Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite. It is a nice clean, enjoyable campground. There seemed to be a lot for kids to do. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice private membership RV resort. Paved main roads with gravel site roads with wide level gravel sites. Sections with lots of trees and other sections with very few trees. The open section has large gravel sites with large grass areas, table and fire rings, but only 30 amp. The wooded area has some 50 amp. The park is well maintained, good 4G Verizon and TV antenna signals but no Wi-Fi signal at the sites. The electric and water pedestals are located at the back corner of alternating sites so half the sites have the pedestals on the wrong side and a long way away, had to use both electric cords and three water hoses to reach. But each site has own sewer connections. Separate adult and family rec areas, each with own swimming pool and snack bar. Adult area also has a bar and cafe. Very nice store. Rental cabins and weekend breakfasts and ice cream socials. Fishing lake with boats and canoes to use. Would stay there again. Rate cited is for ROD, accepts C2C, AOR,and RPI We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

We came to this park on our RPI membership rate, $10. It took a while to get used to the layout of the sites, since they are split very strangely front-to-back in the area we stayed so that two units will fit into each "pull-through". Utilities are water and 30 amp electric only, and don't forget your adapter to plug into a standard household outlet for the 30 amps - never seen that before. However, the power and water pressure were strong. The sites some grass and some gravel, with good gravel interior roads. They are also spacious, and it was very easy for us to level. Landscaping is nice and there is a pool for the kids. There is also a cafe onsite, although we did not eat there. Bathrooms and showers were adequate and clean. We did not find a laundry room. Verizon internet to our amplified MiFi was marginal, phones worked fine. Noise from highways and exterior roads is non-existent and it's nice and quiet at night. We stayed only 2 nights during the week, so can't comment on weekend noisiness. Each site has a decent picnic table and fire pit. The staff is friendly and helpful. The nearest grocery store (Walmart Supercenter) is about 13 miles away in Central Square. We would stay here again. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

We have been camping here for almost 7 years. We have always been pleased with the park and its amenities. When we returned yesterday however, we were more than pleasantly surprised. The improvements were impressive. As members, we love to see that our maintenance fees are put to good used. This time, campsite improvements, swimming pool improvements, rebuilt deck at one of the club houses. Earlier this year we had already discovered great improvements to both clubhouses. We have always and will continue to recommend Bass Lake/East Coast Resorts. The folks here will be celebrating their 25th anniversary Aug. 10 and 11, and YOU BET we are going to be there! We stayed here under Coast to Coast. We just became full time RVers. We have had a seasonal site in the past and have decided to become private membership owners. Since we have begun our retirement journey cross country we have stayed at a few places some private and some public. This Resort is hands down the one of the best. The people are great, the staff is excellent and the campground is meticulously manicured and clean. I wish we would have started our journey earlier in life and found this little jem in paradise years ago. Definitely will come here again. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Here on a 2 day free visit that included a low key sales presentation. Older campground with 30 amp service on grass. Had to dodge a mud wallow to get to site. Not impressed. Just not what I look for in an RV resort. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for a 3-day free offer with required sales presentation. It is very clean, with a beautiful view of lake. The staff that we met were all very nice, (but store was closed most of the time.) It requires a membership which is too pricey and restricted for our needs right now. I don't know that it qualifies as a "resort", but it is a nice campground. We camped at Bass Lake Resort in a Motorhome.
