Charming site. Short drive to Baseball Hall of Fame. Great wooded location and fairly level. Enjoyed sitting out and saw a wonderful sunset. We arrived about a hour before official check-in time so we were hit with a $10.00 early check-in fee. Was not happy with that. Overall a great site. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This park is under new management and it shows. Each site is well manicured, and I found it very easy to navigate. Large groups of tenters that had wide open space. Park is about 10 miles from local shops in Richfield Springs and Cooperstown and the Baseball HOF Museum is about 25 miles south. These folks are turning this park into a destination. We stayed here in a 42' Motorhome. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

Nice level sites, very friendly staff. Pool was nice but the deck is in need of serious sprucing up. I peeked in at the showers and they were nice and clean. Laundry room was very small. Nice views from the campground, very close to Cooperstown which is a must to see. We golfed at Otsego Country Club- one of the oldest courses in US. What a gem! Don't let the fact that they are only a 9 hole course discourage you! The 9 holes were challenging, and the course was in great shape. We went back twice. On our second trip back there, it rained so we spent some time in the "clubhouse " which is an old Victorian type home overlooking the lake. The couple who run it were gracious hosts to a dozen wet golfers. They serve light lunches ( hot dogs/ sandwiches ) but they do not have a liquor license. The history of this golf course is all over the walls of the quaint living room and it was a delight to read all the articles and see the pictures. Really, a pleasant adventure! We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

Wet grass sites recently mowed that got dragged into our 40 foot RV. Our jacks sunk inches into the turf. It was pet friendly alright. Near us were three little dogs tied up outside all day while campers were not at their site. These dogs did nothing other than cry and bark continually. Very annoying to others!!!! Enjoyed very little about this campground. Cost was high and it does not represent a KOA very well. If this campground is a representative of a KOA, it won't be long before their memberships decline. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

Beautiful setting. Bathrooms and showers were basically "portable add-ons" but nice and clean. Laundry room had four washers and four dryers and were coin operated, but reasonably priced.

The owner was present and keeps a good eye on the place.

Cooperstown is about 30-40 minutes away (20 miles). It was raining heavily when we were there so the time may be less in good weather.

The grounds are very nice and well maintained. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Tips for other Campers:

From Hwy 20, watch closely for the KOA sign near the mobile home lots - it's easy to miss. Follow the road up a couple of miles, through farm fields, turn right for another mile, and you'll be there. It's away from highway noise.

Walk up the hill to watch the beautiful sunsets.

Cooperstown is nearby and the Erie Canal is also very close.

We stayed in a 45' RV. Easy to park on pull-through a near the street. More challenging if you are surrounded by other rigs. Grass lots. No cable, poor Wi-Fi. We were able to get satellite and some antenna channels.

Staff was very friendly. Great location to visit Cooperstown baseball hall of fame. Quite a few long term 5th wheels but they were in good condition. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

We parked in the Fenimore Art Museum parking lots and took the trolley on the 20 narrative ride to Baseball Hall of Fame. The trolley was $2 per person for on and off all day. Very cute small town to walk around and grab lunch.

This is a great campground if you are visiting the area. Easy to find and easy to get to. We had no trouble with our 40' 5er navigating to or in the campground. The interior roads are packed gravel and well maintained. It is within reasonable distance to many area attractions. Nice grass/gravel pull-through a with quite a bit of space. It is well maintained, clean and neat. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Wi-Fi isn't the best, but we are camping. There is not much in the way of cable, but again we are camping and here to see family and friends. Our T-Mobile service worked fine. Very pet friendly. All hookups worked fine. Water pressure was a little low but no problems with it. We would definitely recommend this campground to everyone. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Camped for one night to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. Very clean campground. Level pull-through sites. Bathrooms were clean. Owners were on site and very nice. Good Wi-Fi connection, no cable. Large dog park but not fenced in. Very peaceful campground. Didn't take advantage of pool or other amenities due to short stay, but I would stay here again. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

We stayed here while visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame. The HOF is about 10 miles away. The campground was very peaceful and the WiFi worked "OK". The Amish bring baked goods to the office on Saturday mornings and we truly enjoyed the cinnamon rolls. We would stay here again if we visit the area. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

This was a very nice campground. There were only about four campers while we were there. About 10 miles out of Cooperstown and Richfield Springs is about 5 miles away. There is a very nice diner there. Small but excellent food. All folks were nice and helpful. Would stay here again. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

OK for an overnight. Sites are very close together. Advertised as Cooperstown KOA but kind of deceptive as Cooperstown is 1/2 hour away and there are several other campgrounds much, much closer. It's a KOA so you gotta expect to pay a higher price for mediocre amenities. The staff is very friendly and leave you alone. If Cooperstown is your destination then there are better and closer choices. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Tough park to get to as the mountain hills are steep for a bigger gas rig, diesel shouldn't have a problem. Grass sites. Hookups were a bit odd as the sewer location was on the opposite side as the W/E. We had to remove our tow before we could enter the campsite. Staff was very friendly. Nice scenery in the park. Tight spaces which is why they get a 7. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a small, but nice campground. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They helped a person who had a problem with their slide out and gave us directions to and from the campground and fastest way to Cooperstown. We chose a long pull-thru site with 50 amp, water and sewer. There is grass between sites and each site has a picnic table and fire pit. Roads and sites are dirt and gravel. Showers and bathrooms were clean. Our Verizon wireless internet and cell phone reception was adequate. No cable reception, but our satellite worked fine. While here, we visited the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum. It’s about a 20 minute drive from the campground. Price is high for what you get. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.

Hosts/owners are great. Well managed and maintained park. All utilities worked well. Sites are pretty close but decent length. Wi-Fi was iffy. We had a nice stay with my only beef being the price. I think for this price I should not get a muddy site, the Wi-Fi should be dependable and the sites should be bigger. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Motorhome.

This is a well managed KOA, The hosts were very friendly and the campground was spotless. The sights are plenty big for any rig. The restrooms and showers are very clean. Typical KOA in that a bit overpriced. I would camp here again. Good location. We camped at Cooperstown KOA in a Fifth Wheel.
