Owner very helpful. Park is on Lake Erie, but no sites available on waterfront for transients. Most transient sites are back-ins along the road into the park next to the office. Quiet, no highway noise or trains. Verizon reception good. This is our third stay here and will come again when in the area. We camped at Lakeside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

This is primarily a seasonal park, very few sites for transients. As others have said, the owner is a very nice, helpful guy. For some reason, even though we made our reservations months earlier, he had me back out into the highway (not a safe move) then back into a space next to the office building out by the road. We were three feet from the building, so no view there. On the other side we had a nice lawn. Site was uneven and the wifi faded in and out. The utilities all worked fine. We walked to a nearby winery; otherwise not much to do. We camped at Lakeside Campground in a Motorhome.

Nice park. Quite a few seasonals. Only a few sites for short term. Owner was very helpful in making it work for everyone. He went out of his way to accommodate everyone he could. Sites were all grass. Roads were gravel/dirt. Stayed a week. Pay for 6 nights get 7th free. Nice and quiet at night. No trains and no highway noise. Will stay here again. We camped at Lakeside Campground in a Fifth Wheel.
The owner of Lakeside is a friendly and helpful guy. The campground is primarily a permanent site campground with a few transient sites. They have improved the transient sites and they are level and provide quality 50-amp full hookups. Our rooftop dish was blocked by a tree but we were able to pick up Direct TV with our portable dish. The campground Wi-Fi is also good. The campground is easily accessible from I-90. We camped at Lakeside Campground in a Motorhome.
