It is places like this why there has to be another term to describe them. It is an area that was developed for the purpose of providing locals a place to park their RV trailers and then never move them again. What happens is trailers start to disintegrate through lack of care, patios are built, canvas draped over the trailers, debris begins to collect underneath and around the individual site and garbage cans on the site overflow with aluminum cans and bottles and total disrepair ensues. They advertise in Woodalls as they do have a few unsold sites for one or two nighters like us. Their price is high for what you get and they conceal the fact that it is a good 15 miles off I-87 down two lane country roads. This is not someplace we will ever re-visit. The previous review was spot on with the seasonal sites. Remove them and their clutter and this is a pretty forested campground with RV Spots. They have a "new" section right by the office for short term stays that offer long pull through spots and 50 amp service. Park advertises a laundry, but 4 machines for 100+ spots does not qualify as a laundry. Pool is not heated but is well kept. Great cycling roads from campsite and 15 minutes from Windham Mountain. There is a lake with lakefront spots but those are only open to seasonal campers and tents. The lake is not visible from anywhere else in the campground. Peaceful and quiet in the evening. Not the best but definitely not the worst. Verizon signal is weak but steady; no Wi-Fi; water has a taste but cleans up if you have a filter. We camped at Whip O Will Campsite in a Fifth Wheel.Undo

This park is 60% seasonals, giving it a cluttered look as most of the seasonal units stay in place and have a variety of outdoor living and storage arrangements. The park has grown over time and the sites are either grass, dirt or gravel and it overall has a rustic feel. The maze of roadways in the park are a little confusing, some with trees creating tight turns, and the map is not accurate. We had trouble navigating in our big rig and ended up getting a scratch on the side. It does have a lot to offer if you look at their web site, and the price is right. We chose a site with 30 amp/water only because it was in a spacious field that provided privacy and satellite reception. We camped at Whip O Will Campsite in a Motorhome.Undo
