Beautiful camp ground on the shore of the Mohawk river. Quiet setting, near bike path that crossed the river and went to a state park. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

So glad to have found this place through RV Park Reviews for an overnight as we headed for Canada. We found it to be quiet and very scenic along the river, with a lot of shady, green space to walk our dog - a real oasis. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

There are some low clearance railroad bridge overpasses in the area you might encounter if you head into Glenville (there's a WalMart Superstore 15 minutes from the campground), so keep your height in mind and be alert for signs.

We were traveling through the area and only stayed 1 night but would have gladly stayed longer. It is a smallish park, beautifully designed with gently curving roadways leading to wooded sites that somehow felt quite private. The park had just opened for the season and so it was not crowded. The Mohawk River is scenic and the park's boat ramp looked very easy to use. Access from the turnpike was quick and easy, albeit a little tight crossing over the railroad track. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This a lovely wooded park right next to the Mohawk River. It is wooded but has plenty of sun coming through the trees. They have FHU sites, and some without sewer, but the dump station is nearby and they offer twice weekly portable "honey wagon" service. We have used both types of sites. They also offer small camping sites with electricity only. The pull thru sites right next to the river are coveted and we have moved from an inner site to one when available. We have been here in August and September since we have family nearby. The roads are narrow but manageable, and the entrance is slightly awkward requiring a sharp right turn after crossing the inevitable RR tracks. The trains are numerous, they do use their whistle each time, but it is not a deterrent to this park for most people. It's a great place for long walks, lots of green grass, and there is a great bike path nearby. The laundry was clean and maintained and its a great place for walking your dog. We have camped here 3 times and will be back. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Saratoga is a beautiful place to visit, and just driving around the countryside is scenic. There is a Walmart about 5 miles away.

This campground has a beautiful setting on the banks of the Mohawk River. Sites are well spaced out through a nicely wooded area. Our assigned site was not level front to back and required leveling blocks to keep front wheels touching the ground. The W/E/S and cable hookups were very well placed and worked very well. The WiFi is free and signal ranges from quite good to almost non-existent. Railroad tracks run near the campground, but the noise is not really a problem. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a level gravel site in the trees. They only have 2 satellite-friendly sites. They have cable at sites and WIFI by office, but we used neither. Sites are water and electric (50 amps) only. They will pump you out on Tuesdays and Fridays for $6 and they have a dump station. The best part was the friendly hosts. They gave us a great Italian restaurant (Johnny's), pizza stop, and they got us out of a big jam at 10:00 PM. our key broke off in our lock, and we asked them for pliers. The host came to our site with his tools and extricated the key so we could use our spare. We camped here in a 38 foot motor home and would go out of our way to camp here again. Very quiet. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Albany is a very congested city. Parking near Capitol is bad. We parked at the State Museum and came through the Concourse.

Rate is for a weekly stay. This was a very nice campground, mostly wooded with a rustic feel. The full hook-up section we were in was arranged as a circle with the RVs facing outward from the center like spokes. This gave us a pretty good-sized camping area where you're not looking directly at your neighbor's rig. Hookups were oddly placed, with our sewer connection located under the tail of the rig, and water and power were behind us on the passenger side, requiring our full power cord and an extra hose. Everything worked great once hooked up. The river is scenic and we watched boats going by all day long (some quietly, some loudly). The train and its whistle are ever-present, close enough that you always notice it, but far enough that it isn't too annoying. The WiFi never worked for us, but Verizon and AT&T did. Staff/owners were friendly and helpful. There were plenty of places to walk our dog inside the campground and down nearby Pump House Road. We'd return if visiting the area again. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We liked this campground and would stay here again. It is pretty basic with a large, level, stone site, with water and electric (at our site), picnic table, fire pit, cement patio and wonderful trees shading the area. It is close to a walking trail along the river. There is train noise but not so loud that I couldn't sleep. Wi-fi is nonexistent at out site, they do have cable. Close to shopping. We had a back-in site but there are 5 pull-thru sites. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We stayed here for three days before going to Mass. for our daughter's wedding. Both of our daughters stayed with us part of our time here, and there is an extra charge, but the basic charges are very reasonable, so it wasn't a big deal. We also set up a tent on our site, plenty of room for that. Our site was a back-in with a huge lawn and a view of the Mohawk River nearby. There are a lot of seasonal campers here, all very friendly. I used their showers and found them to be fine. The owners live on site and are very friendly and helpful. Much of the park has huge old trees and green lawns. We liked this park so much we may come back next summer for at least a month! We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice, well kept, peaceful, campground. Sits on the Mohawk River Barge Canal (Erie Canal). Nice area to sit and watch the river. We were in a 50amp, back-in, water site. Fair space between sites. Electric service worked as designed and plenty of water pressure. There were no full-hooks when we were there; the park offers a pump out service on Tuesdays and Fridays for $6. There is a free to guests dump station. There were some complaints by past reviewers of train whistles - yes there was the occasional whistle but in our opinion - nothing to write home about. Easy on and off I90 and a short drive to Scotia & Schenectady, NY. We will stay here again. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

I was traveling through the area over a weekend and had mechanical trouble. I use my AllStays app and found that this park was nearby. I was able to get a site for the same day. I ended up staying three nights, and absolutely loved it. Sites are gravel but level. I stayed in a pull-through elec/water site, dump station was nearby and easy to use. Laundry and restrooms/showers were clean and in good condition. Sites are spacious, whole park is beautifully wooded and on the water. There are some seasonal campers there, and they were incredibly helpful with my mechanical issues. Seasonal sites are well-kept, there is evident house-pride in how nicely the long-termers maintain their sites. Both the campers and the owner, got me to a quality mechanic, made sure that I got to the local Wal-Mart to stock up on necessities, and just generally made me feel welcome. For a woman traveling alone in a new-to-me RV, this was a godsend.

Not only were the people wonderful, but the park is gorgeous, with mature trees and beautiful landscaping. Owners are on-site, park was quiet but there was plenty to do. I did not have my dogs with me but it is very dog-friendly. I cannot recommend this park enough--I'm trying to figure out a reason to go back to upstate New York again, just so that I can stay at Arrowhead! We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Very nice setting along the river. Relatively easy off from I-90, and very easy to get back on - at least to go west. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. Our site was level and water, sewer, and electric were all good. Wi-Fi at our site was nonexistent. Train noise seemed much more noticeable than our last visit - might have been the site location. We would stay here again. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a back-in site (#54) that was clean, level and had a concrete patio with a view of the river. The park is small but well kept and the staff is very friendly. Lots of shade trees as previously mentioned and a busy rail corridor close by which was not a problem for us. We could not get connected to Wi-Fi at our site, and this park does not have a camp store, which is why I couldn't rate it higher. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
