This is a lovely park by the river. One of the prettiest we have stayed at. However I must disagree with some other reviews on the train noise. We found the train is very loud and it blows the horns many times as it comes by the park. So if you have problems sleeping this could be an issue. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park setting with a boat launch on the Mohawk River. Level sites, moderately treed - nice fall setting for this visit. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

On your approach to the campground, there is a 90 degree turn to the right just over a set of railroad tracks. If you are travelling long, as we do (41' with 24' trailer), prepare accordingly or you will drag your trailer over the tracks.

Mile off I-890 and close to I-90. On Van Buren Lane, turn immediate right after railroad tracks and follow RV park signs. GPS has you going straight and into a neighborhood. The beautiful park is along the Mohawk River. We called before they opened for the season to reserve a site for a week. Because they were already booked, we were assigned a partial hook up site. We were assured that if there was a cancelation we would be reserved for a full hook up site. When we arrived, we had a wonderful surprise. As promised, we only had a partial hook up the first night , the next day we were able to move to a full hook up. They gave us one of the best sites in the park as we were front row on the river. The owner took great care of us! The partial hook up didn't have sewer, but was pull thru, close to level and heavily wooded. Our river side site was back in, gravel, close to level. We couldn't get satellite at either site, but they have cable. It worked good. There is internet connection, although didn't stay connected, therefore wasn't very good. We had a picnic table, fire ring and concrete patio. There is grass area between sites. Water pressure was ok. Both sites were long enough to fit rig and tow. There is additional parking in the park. Site payment is cash or check. There is a small laundry room, 3 washers and 4 dryers, which was adequate. There is a nice size dog park and plenty of green space to walk dogs. And, yes, there are multiple train tracks in the area, therefore multiple trains, but not running all day and it's not too loud to be a bother. There is a paved trail close enough to walk and bike. The park is clean and well maintained. This park is quiet, no kid activities except the river. We enjoyed the quietness and will stay again at this park. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Nice RV campground located near Exit 26 off I-90 east of Albany. No road noise noticeable, but a train does run infrequently nearby. Park like atmosphere, with river access boat ramp, but no boat rental. Full hook ups including cable. WiFi signal was weak. Verizon wireless signal was 3 bars. Friendly staff, but they don't take credit cards. About 30 percent seasonal residents. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park on the Mohawk River. Gravel sites mostly level. Power a little weak. Water pressure good. Picnic table and fire ring. Gravel interior roads easy to navigate, but give off a noise louder than most park roads I've encountered. Most channels I've ever encountered on RV park cable! Too many lovely trees for a satellite signal. Wifi available, but I was never able to connect and didn't ask for assistance. Good Verizon signal. Travel directions on webpage. And, yes, there is a train, but it's not too loud to keep a person awake. This was a rest stop, so I can't report what is nearby to see or do. Payment is with cash or check, only. Owner/managers live on site. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

We had a Good Sam discount. Our site #50 was a pull through with 50 amp/electric, no sewer. They have a dump station. Our site 50 was not level side to side, so our tires were off the ground on the right side. The sites are shady. It is a very nice rv park beside the Mohawk River with a marina. The staff is very nice and helpful. Some sites have sewer hookups. The seasonals here are friendly and nice, keeping their sites tidy. The laundry room is inexpensive and clean. You do hear train whistles at this park, so you may consider ear plugs at night. If traveling I-90 in the future, we would stay at the Arrowhead Marina RV Park again. It is a pretty rv campground. Watch the right turn as you cross the railroad tracks with your unit to the campground. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Beautiful park on the lake. Lots of shade. Easy to navigate inside park. Turn wide at the railroad! Trains can be heard with horns constantly. (sound machine!!!) Owners live at the park and are accommodating. Our site was a pull thru 50amp without sewer, dump station easy access. Utilities were placed correctly. AT&T service sufficient to watch TV. Shade every where. Very easy access off of 90. Good location to stop overnight. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

This is a nice quiet park on the Mohawk River. Easy connection onto and off the NYS Thruway (I-90). The park is clean and well maintained. No sewer connections but a dump is available. Water and electric (50 amp) were fine. Were advised the wifi may be spotty so we didn't try but verizon was fine. Cable TV surprisingly good. Site was VERY long and easy to enter and exit and was mostly level. Bathrooms/showers were adequate/usable but not the best we've seen. Roads throughout the park were easy to navigate without issues. Nearby trains made a few passes thru the night but were easily ignored. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Average park made worse by the terrible customer service. We knew about the early check-in fee they claim to charge, and have encountered parks that make the same claim but do not enforce it and allow you to check-in early without fanging you with the fee. It just worked out we got here 2 hours early for the 2:00 check-in time and noticed a large RV storage area at the beginning of the driveway that had ample open space. The dry, humorless clerk lady refused to allow us to check-in early without the fee, refused to allow me to park the rig in the storage area while we Jeeped into town for lunch, and had no recommendation for a nearby parking area large enough for the bus while we wasted the 2 hours until we would be allowed to check-in. Even though the price was right I will never return solely based on the staff attitude and lack of concern for their customers. But the park is interior gravel roads winding through the trees, sites gravel and level, and the park is right on the Mohawk River. The sites tend to become a muddy, swampy, mess after a good rain and the grass areas become mushy. The bath/showers are a trailer unit parked near the trailer/office and they were adequate. Trees too thick for satellite reception. The cable listing they provide has got to be the most confusing list I have ever seen, listing several cable companies and channel numbers. The road into the park is terrible, the turn at the railroad tracks is rough and watch for low branches. The trains run several times day and night. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good park with elect., water, sewer and cable. We used this as a overnight stop. We had a back in site, don't know if they have pull thru's. It was nice location on the Mohawk river. Some have made statements about trains, yes there are trains but did not bother us. We would stay again. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Spent one night in a pull through site with water/electric. Used only 50 amp electric which was full power and steady.

We did not use the facilities but all were extremely clean.

The park is beautifully situated on the Mohawk River and is easily accessed from I-90. The sites are moderate in size with plenty of room for slides.

Yes there are train rumbles - but no horns or brakes. The sound would not disturb my sleep.

We would definitely return. We camped at Arrowhead Marina & RV Park in a Motorhome.
