A quiet campground located on a scenic peninsula that juts out into the Chaumont Bay of Lake Superior. Most of the sites are open and grassy with a few shaded options for tent campers. All of the site have water views and some water access. A popular fishing destination and only a short drive from several historic towns on Lake Superior. The campground was full the weekend we stayed there, but not all noisy. Clean and well maintained facilities (and recycling) made this a pleasant place to spend the weekend. We camped at Long Point State Park in a Travel Trailer.Undo
