Just the perfect park. The only negative thing was we had mail and they forgot to put our name on the bulletin board letting us know. Beautiful facilities, beautiful landscaping, great restrooms, beautiful nature trails, wide paved roads, long paved level sites, very large grassy patio area with fire ring and picnic table, great WiFi and cable, good water pressure, some shade, lovely pool, trolley that comes around to take you to casino, trash cans at each site, nice general store, beautiful laundry. Check in area was a little tight for big rigs. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Finger Lakes, Lake Seneca in particular, are beautiful and have great vineyards and wine tasting. Dinosaur BBQ in Syracuse was awesome.

Overall Rating:

This casino run campground is beautifully landscaped with sites organized into little village groupings. Site width is very generous and the pull-thrus are long enough to accommodate both the truck and 39' rig comfortably. The access roads are blacktop and wide enough to handle back-ins easily. The pads are blacktop also but it would have been nice to have a hard surfaced patio because the grass along our pad was a little thin with dirt exposed - I'm thinking muddy if it had rained. Water pressure was excellent. The 50amp power handled both A/C's running to keep up with a 90 degree day. Each site has its own garbage can. Cable TV was free with an excellent selection of channels. There are ponds with catch and release fishing and walking trails throughout the grounds. The park is neat, well kept and fun to bicycle around. The pool was clean and refreshingly welcome as we used it to beat the heat. While there are a lot of trees on the grounds, section 300 was a bit wide open to the sun and the rig took the brunt of it during the afternoon. We really enjoyed staying in this campground and will be back again. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Sign up for your players club card when you check in and get a $10 playing credit, $5 off at any restaurant and discounted golf. I'm sure this is subject to change but it was convenient if you intend to use the casino.

For us, The Villages at Turning Stone is what we wish most RV parks were like. The sites are immaculate and well spaced, with room for even the largest rigs. The free shuttle buses to and from the casino are a plus. We only stayed overnight this trip, but we'll be back when we can spend more time checking out all the features of this fine park. The free cable TV system has a good selection of channels, and the free WiFi is one of the best we've encountered anywhere, with consistent 10 meg down and 5 meg up speeds. Our Verizon cell signals were strong as well. Our site had a good satellite view for the channels the park cable doesn't carry. Previous reviews have covered the various features of this park, and there appears to something for just about everyone here. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The casino has several excellent restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. Our favorite is the Emerald Restaurant that's open 24/7 and offers a good selection of dishes at reasonable prices in a casual atmosphere. Grocery stores, etc., are also nearby.

This is a beautiful park with level, blacktop sites and trees. There are lots of amenities like pool, tennis, playgrounds which we didn't use. We did use the shuttle bus to the casino which was very convenient. We didn't want to drive over and leave our packed car in the parking lot. Our site backed up to a nice pond with ducks, benches and a path around it. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

The Chinese restaurant at the casino was excellent.

Very good park overall. Wish it was closer to casino (1 mile away), but shuttle bus available. Excellent staff, very helpful and friendly. A little too narrow for most big rigs, but can be handled with care. Could use lighting at the entrance to the various camping areas to help with navigation on dark nights. Easy access from NY thruway. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Do not try to find park in casino area. Continue past casino 1 mile and campground is on right.

The Villages continues to offer an excellent camping experience. Our most recent stay was no exception. We had a back in site that was perfect for our 34' motorhome and rental car. WES and cable were all first rate. The off-season fee with GS discount is actually a bargain. The staff is always helpful and welcoming. We would definitely return when in the area. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Convenient shopping in Oneida, a short distance away.

This is a very well maintained campground with helpful staff at check in. However the check in area to campground entry was fairly tight for a big rig. The interior roads were paved as was our site and it was a long and level pull through, however, positioning your rig perfectly with the towed attached could prove a challenge, we unhooked to make life easier even though we were only staying overnight. Very quiet with plenty of space around our RV and room for our towed, grass between sites and lovely shade trees with a picnic table and fire ring, trash cans were at the end of each site. Bathrooms were spotless and the laundry clean and well equipped. Very pet friendly with 2 miles of nature trails, as well as doggie bags and disposal stations. WiFi and cell were both good. There is a heated pool and spa, tennis courts, bocce ball, fishing ponds, even a general store. The Resort Casino has wonderful restaurants and golf courses and there is a free shuttle from the campground. Walmart is just down the road should you need to stock up on groceries. We would stay here again. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

The lots are very large and the drive thru's are level and long. The only issue we had was the curve in the driveway. It took a bit of going back and forth to get us positioned properly on the driveway. The park is immaculate and each site has their own garbage can. We were impressed with the width of each lot. You definitely don't feel crowded in. Very quiet. There are a few ponds for fishing, a basket ball court, tennis court, swimming pool. We booked for 3 nights and stayed for 5. WiFi was the best we had ever had in any RV resort. Would come back here anytime. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Fifth Wheel.

Stayed here a few times and each time we see a downward trend. The staff is not overly friendly. The CG is a maze of roads and somewhat difficult to find the right road to get to your site. They use to escort which made it easy. Plenty of low hanging branches in some areas. Our site was a mess from the previous camper. TP paper and trimmings from where they missed the sewer connection from the hose rinse out. The sites should at least be checked before the next camper comes in. Would not return again. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Clean your water connection with a Clorox wipe before you hookup, you never know what the last camper done with the water connection before you!

The overall appearance of the entire campground is very nice. The pavement on the paved sites is for the camping unit. The "patio" area was either grass and gravel at the open sites or dirt with very little gravel at the shaded sites on the back in loop we were at. Our site required some leveling. Hookups were easy to access and use, but required three sections of sewer hose for the site we were on. All the staff was helpful as well as polite. The price reflects a Good Sam discount as well as the 10.75% tax that is levied by the nation. The disclosure is mixed with other info at the bottom of the rates tab on their web site. There is no mention of it at check in or is it reflected on the receipt. Overall our stay was pleasant. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Travel Trailer.

This is a ten-rated community at both Good Sam and Woodalls for a reason. The place is immaculately maintained and operated. The facility is beautifully landscaped and has a variety of "community" site areas catering to different size campers and needs.

The roads are very well paved and each site has full hookup including an individual trash container. We are a large rig on an 8.5 foot frame with four slides and large awnings. I found that the access roads, though nicely paved, were not quite wide enough for easy pull through parking. I did have to enter, back, and re-enter. We know they want to put as many people on the facility as possible but we'd appreciate a bit more room between us and our neighbors.

We arrived in the rain, slept in the rain, and departed in the rain. Gloomy.

This park is very convenient to the interstate.

We would definitely stay here again. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Fifth Wheel.

Very nice, clean campground. We had a nice pull-through site and hookups were easy. Wi-Fi was usable as was AT&T cell service. This RV park is a short distance from the casino of the same name. Sites are nicely maintained and nicely shaded. We would definitely come back to this park. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Paved roads wander through attractive forest areas, each section named for a prominent tree in that area. Several sizable ponds add to the attractiveness. Site was paved but a little narrow, causing us to exit the motorhome onto the grass/dirt/mud. Utility connections were easy and well-maintained, wifi was very good, very god Verizon signal, and I was able to get a good satellite shot. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

As described by others, the park is lovely with many different camping areas and what looks like a great experience for families. Park is easy access off and on I90. Internal roads are paved and narrow and sites are paved and narrow. We drive a 44ft MH towing a car and had hoped to park overnight without taking the car off. The layout of the park however made it impossible to get into our assigned site (405) and have the MH and car correctly placed so we ended up taking the car off. Our site had a slope front to back requiring we reposition several times before getting to a spot where we could level the coach. Utilities are properly located for easy access. Rest rooms and showers were very clean and well lit, we did not use wifi as our cell phone hotspot worked very well. There is not a specific dog walk area but plenty of walking areas through the park to exercise the dog and get some lovely fresh air. There was a bit of background train noise but nothing that really bothered the peacefulness. The exit road to the campground is very narrow and tree-lined which looked lovely but seemed a bit tight for our rig. We ended up slipping out the entrance road as we left early morning and there was no traffic. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Motorhome.

Easy access to and in the RV park with our larger size RV. Like others mentioned, crescent shaped pull-through spaces designed by someone with no RV experience. We had some leaves touch side of RV driving through park but no tree branches. Heard distant train horn in evening but nothing during the night. Nice staff. We would certainly stay again if in the area. We camped at The Villages RV Park at Turning Stone in a Fifth Wheel.
