Nothing fancy just a small clean well cared for campground. Gazebo on property near the waters edge. Utilities are placed properly and in good working order. Sunsets at this park are beautiful. We camped here in a 40' motorhome. We camped at Daisy Barn Campground in a Motorhome.Undo

We stayed here with out Passport America discount, reflected in the price. The park is located right on Lake Ontario, and no matter which site you receive, you'll be only a few steps away from the lake. Most sites are long term or seasonal folks, with about 8-10 sites for folks passing through. The staff we exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Most of the sites are on grass, which concerned us a bit because of the heavy rains expected when we stayed there. It did get quite soggy, but no issues as far as the ground getting too soft when we left. A couple areas that sorely need improvement and that's the state of the bathrooms and the dump station. The bathhouse would be sufficient if it was cleaned. It didn't appear that the bathhouse had been wiped down or cleaned in any manner for weeks, or even this season at all. Yikes. I can deal with facilities that aren't new, but filth, not so much. The dump station, which we used on the way in and the way out, is designed such that standing water easily accumulates around the drain, making it difficult if not impossible to make the hookups with wading into the, uh, liquid. This would apply even on non-rainy days. The grounds are beautiful and there is a ton of space to walk, have a picnic, take your pooch for a long walk. There is a beautiful fire pit right down by the lake, and a gazebo as well. This place has a lot going for it, although we would most likely stay at 4-mile State Park the next time, as we had a picnic lunch there one day and found it to be nicer in almost every respect than Daisy Barn. Great location. Beautiful Campground, right on Lake Ontario! Well kept grounds and level sights. Pictures on website are right on! Don't follow your GPS, sends you down tight roads for big rigs. Once in park easy to navigate, no pull thru sites though. Camp host was wonderful and helpful! Very laid back atmosphere. Mostly seasonal campers filled the campground. Bathrooms are older and need a lot of updating. Only 2 showers available, 1 one out of order. Could use some cleaning. Laundry onsite, 1 washer and 1 dryer, no change machine available. Cash only, no credit cards taken! Remember this because there are no ATM's on sight! Had to disconnect to back in. We camped at Daisy Barn Campground in a Motorhome.Undo
